“What’s wrong with this?” Mike asked Joe. He turned to Ethan. “You see anything wrong with this?”
The three of them were at Mike’s apartment before leaving for the party. Ethan, the third member of their group was also an actor. Tall and lithe, he complemented Joe’s fair looks and Mike’s darker hue.
“You picked this yourself, didn’t you?” Ethan grinned.
“Yes! I’m not four anymore, I don’t need my mom to dress me.” Mike grumbled defensively.
Ethan chuckled while Joe dragged Mike off to make him change. Mike was notorious for not being able to sense which colours complemented each other.
“Okay, Mike, my brother, my love, my honeybeans,” Joe began, “an orange shirt does NOT go well with blue pants.”
Mike looked at him blankly. “Did you just call me honeybeans?”
“Will you focus? The important thing is… orange and blue? No.” Joe said, his head stuck inside Mike’s closet.
“Here, change into this.” He threw a pair of basic black pants and a black silk shirt to Mike and left the room.
“I dunno what he’d do without me.” Joe grumbled to Ethan.
Ethan smirked. “His assistant’s on vacation. It’s a good thing you are here to be a stand in.”
“I have an aesthetic appreciation for clothes and things which don’t go well together make my eyes hurt.” Joe shrugged. “Besides, after modeling for so long, I can’t help but be fashionable.”
“If I didn’t know about your past girlfriends, I’d call you gay.” Ethan said.
“And then I’d beat you up.” Joe said.
“More like, you’d try to kiss me.” Ethan laughed.
“Hahaha! That’s a good idea!” Joe grinned.
“Okay buddy, let’s go see what Mr. Fashionable is doing. We don’t wanna be late.”

Author's note: So, I haven't been writing much (or studying much for that matter) cuz of work and Summer X Summer. It's funny, even though I'm on the subbing team, I haven't actually watched the series. (Editor, I only know a couple of words in mandarin though I'd be delighted to learn it sometime soon in the future. I have a thing for languages, so far it's hindi, urdu, spanish, punjabi, fijian and latin.) Anyway, i DO have a point.
I quite like Ethan, I do. And as I was watching his scenes in Summer, I thought he acted a LOT like Rainie did in DBY. With his mouth contortions and stuff. Did you guys notice? I wonder what their coupling would be like in a drama. The Taiwanese version of Hello!Miss. Hehe. Anyway. Up next, The Party.
