One Short Gulp and Breathe, It's Over*

Ariel stood silently for a second, still hidden behind the stack of books, the world outside and around her fading as she went over very carefully over the incident that had just occurred in front of her eyes.

Then all of a sudden, she walked out of the store, down the street to her car, got in and started driving. She had a specific destination in her mind.
