Mike picked up the phone.
“Wanna go drinking tonight, buddy?” Ethan said from the other side.
Mike looked at his watch and grimaced. He turned to Ariel.
“Do we have filming tomorrow, Yi Chen?”
Ariel got out his palm pilot and looked through it and then nodded.
“Oh is Yi Chen there with you? Sorry man didn’t mean to intrude.”
“Intrude? What are you talking about? You okay, dude?” Mike asked, concerned about how depressed Ethan sounded.
“Yeah. I’m fine. Just thought I’d see what you were up to.”
“I’ll drop by your house in say three hours, okay?” Mike said.
“Sure. Tell Yi Chen I said hi.” And he hung up.
Mike turned to Ariel. “Have they made up yet?” He asked her.
“Nope. She doesn’t answer when he calls but when he doesn’t; she sits and stares at the phone mournfully.” Ariel replied.
They sighed together.
“You work on Ethan. I’ll work on Rainie.” Ariel finally said, stretching.
“Get them to go out tonight?”
“Oh. I think I can bully her into that.”
“He’d jump at the chance.”
“I know.”
“Rendezvous at my place to celebrate?”
“No. Let’s go to Bookaholics.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah.”
“Sweet.”
“Jiayou.”
“You too.”

Author's Note: Now if someone says to me you don't update fast enough, I'm going to take my pineapples and RUN AWAY. Kettle knows how much I want to finish this story, like right now. Read Femme Fatale guys; only if you can handle some damn good writing, of course. Oh and for the Rainie/Ethan fans, we will finally get to see them together (without killing each other) by the end of this series of short chapters which I do apologise for but since it feels wrong to move scenes and keep it in the same page, you get a new chapter.
