Tuesday Scene Four:
Daniel ran a hand through his hair and looked uncomfortable. He looked at Tuesday from the corner of her eyes. She was sitting cross legged on the beach, leaning back and looking at him with a curious expression.
“I can’t explain it, okay!” Daniel exclaimed crossly. “Other girls wouldn’t need explaining!”
“I am not other girls.” Tuesday replied and bit her lip. Daniel took a deep breath and sighed. Whenever she bit her lip, she was upset.
“Okay.” He sat down beside her, facing the ocean, careful not to look at her. “How does it feel when I kiss you?”
“You kissed me only once.”
“How did it feel?” Daniel was getting frustrated.
“I don’t remember.” Tuesday ducked her head and by that gesture Daniel knew that she didn’t want to reply.
“Fine. Let me kiss you again.” He said and grinned as Tuesday looked up quickly with a half wary, half hopeful expression.
She frowned at him as she saw his expression. Finally she answered him.
“Honestly?”
“Honestly.”
“Okay. When you kiss me, little stars explode behind my eyelids and my toes curl upward. I forget to think and I forget I am me and I feel like getting up on my toes and reaching for something that is just out of reach, that I can almost touch if I tried harder.” She turned to him waiting for his response.
Daniel swallowed. His mind had gone completely blank and he had nearly forgotten was the purpose of the conversation was.
“Well, I want to kiss you again.” He said seriously.
“Okay.” And Tuesday pouted her lips, ready.
Daniel laughed.
“But you have to agree to go out with me otherwise I won’t feel good about kissing you.” He continued watching her to gauge her reaction.
When she frowned, his heart sank.
“What does going out have to do with kissing? Do we go out and kiss in different places?”
Daniel nearly groaned. She was doing this on purpose, he was sure but when she looked at him, she had a genuinely perplexed reaction on her face.
“No, go out as in…ah…as in you’ll be my girlfriend.” Daniel finally said in a rush and squeezed his eyes shut waiting to see how she would react.
He felt her cool fingers close around his hand and opened one eye.
“What?” He asked.
“I don’t understand.” Tuesday looked befuddled.
Daniel sighed. Why hadn’t he fallen in love with someone who was normal? Finally he cupped Tuesdays face with his hands and bent his face down to hers and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
“I mean that you have to promise that no one else will kiss you like I do and that you won’t lo- um, like anyone else besides me.” He said gently.
Tuesday nodded solemnly. Then she smacked him.
“What was that for?!” Daniel yowled rubbing his arm.
“A taste of what will come if you kiss some other girl.” Tuesday laughed merrily and Daniel chased her around the beach threatening to make her eat sand when he caught her.

Note to any readers I might have: I'm not always going to write the scenes as though they were filming it. Having the director shout "CUT" and all, gets old pretty fast. So just know that all Tuesday scenes are part of the Drama and Daniel = Mike and Ariel = Tuesday. Ta da. And of course I'll tell you when the last chapter is. Actually, you'll know by yourself.
