Daniel wrapped the blanket around Tuesday. He smiled to himself. She looked like a very ruffled kitten. Giving in to an impulse, he gave her a hug, not missing her sigh of contentment as she tucked her head under his neck, her forehead resting on his shoulder.
“Do you know why I love you?” Tuesday whispered to him a bit drowsily.
Daniel leaned back against the bed, shifting till he got comfortable. “Cuz I’m so irresistible?” He teased.
“If you are going to joke around with me, I’m not telling.” Tuesday grumbled.
“Okay, okay. Why do you love me?”
“Cuz every time you are near me, your heart races.” Tuesday reached up and kissed the spot in his throat where his pulse was racing madly.
Daniel took a deep breath at the feel of her soft lips.
“And because your heart races,” and Tuesday brought a hand up to press against his chest, where his heart drummed, “it makes me feel as though I matter to you. And when I’m really, really sad, I think about your heart and how happy it is to see me, and I feel better. Because it’s not just your brain telling me that you love me, it’s your body too.”
Daniel framed Tuesday’s face with his arms and snatched the last word from her mouth in a kiss that he deepened until he no longer knew where he ended and Tuesday began. Her lips were nectar and he was thirsty. She bit his lip and he bit back. Daniel without breaking their kiss picked Tuesday up and put her on the bed gently. He felt her hesitation and then her surrender. Her hands crept up his arms and linked behind his neck. A roar of possession started sounding in his mind.
“CUT!”
Ariel hid her face in Mike’s shoulder, embarrassed to face the crew and from the heat of Mike’s face; she could tell that he was blushing as acutely as her.
“Xiao Mei, move otherwise they’ll think we are still kissing.” Ariel whispered and Mike rolled off her as though electrified.
When Ariel finally mustered up the courage to look up at the crew, to her surprise, they were all fanning themselves.
“That was some seriously hot kissing, kids.” Carl, one of the crew members called.
Mike and Ariel both blushed hotly and fled to opposite corners of the set.
