Chapter 40

An Elongated Author's Note

I would like to thank all of you who have read this for doing so. I realize that it's not been an easy journey considering the ups and downs in the plot and the emotional growths or regressions (lol) of the characters. Thank you for reading and thank you for the support via the kind words you guys have left in the comments section.

It's been quite a journey. To be honest, I would never have started this story had Kettle (KireinaGai) not bullied me into it simply because I thought it was too much for me to handle. The sheer amount or rather...scope of the story I wanted to tell - it ranged from Canada to Brunei to Taiwan to Fiji. It involved so many things that the earlier chapters seem like different stories for me.

So here are some details about the story that you didn't know.

1. This story has 102, 866 words on Word. I think that's 273 pages in all.
2. Originally, Arron was supposed to die instead of Figaro. Again I was bullied (by various persons) to desist with this idea. I am glad I did so because this way I got to meet Figaro who I can truthfully say I had the most fun writing.
3. This story originally was supposed to be a love story between Ariel and Chun. Ariel would have been a geeky college major pissed off by Chun's holier than thou attitude. As you can see, that didn't work out.
4. I did flirt with the idea of having Arron fall in love with 5 Bear but it didn't work out because Arron refused to fall out of love with Ariel.
5. The reason Edward was so determined to kill Figaro (in case you didn't catch it in the story) was because he knew that leaving one person alive was baaad, as evidenced by the monster who killed Ariel's parents.
6. I hate reading what I have written so I tend to post it without editing. I'm sorry for the typos I have subjected you guys through. I really am sorry.
7. You guys will meet Ricin soon.

That's it. Other than that, I have been pretty honest with my readers.

I demand a vacation from the writing world. Lol. But since I have already started another story, or rather, set up a teaser for one, here's the link. It is different and the characters will be different.
