The story...
Ming-Ming and Hiu Chung stood up; there were tears in her eyes. “Mom, dad,” she came over and hugs them. They wrap their arms around her, “The last time we see you I believe was 6 years ago, where Jackie haven’t born yet. How have you been my daughter?” Ming-Ming’s father asks.
“Father…all these years I have been all right, and plus, Hiu Chung always take care of me.” They sat down at the table, and Mr. and Mrs. Ming-Ming look at their son-in-law smiling, they’re happy that Ming-Ming has found a great person to marry.
“Father, mother in law, I brought something back from America, consider this as a little gift, I hope you guys will like it.” Then he opens the bag and took out the red wine from year 1982. Ming-Ming’s father smiles and raises his hands out to accept the gift, “Thank you, this would be a great addition for my wine collection, I only need this one to finish my red wine collection.” He said smiling at the bottle.
“You’re so considerate Hiu Chung,” Mrs. Ming Ming said, “Mother In-law, I have something for you too…” then he took out a small box and handed to her. She opens it and found the hairpin, she was looking for it from years to years, and it was shape like a flower with many diamonds on it... “Oh my, how could you find this, I started to find it since the 80s and I couldn’t find it…” she exclaims over the beautiful hairpin, “I looks online and plus I have a friend whose really into diamonds so I ask him for some helps, I am glad that you like it mother in law.” “Of course I do, thank you Hiu Chung.” She said smiling at him.
Ming-Ming puts her hands on his and smiles at him, “Hiu Chung thank you for your gifts, we’re really glad and like our gifts.” They said, “It’s nothing, people said if you want to make someone happy, you have to give them something they really like.” Hiu Chung smiles, “I don’t understand it! Diamonds and Wines are better than toys??” Jackie said, they laugh and shook their heads. “Jackie, to you toys is important and really precious just like the diamonds hairpin to grandma and the wine to grandpa.” Ming-Ming said. “Jackie come here, let’s grandma look at you.” Jackie came over and sits down on Mrs. Ming-Ming’s lap.
“You grow a lot, handsome just like your daddy.” (Note: every year, Ming-Ming and Hiu Chung would send pictures of their family to her mom and dad, so that’s why…yea yea…I’ll let u guys continue to read now) Mrs. Ming-Ming said, Hiu Chung smiles, Jackie looks at her and then blushes, “Thank you granny.” He said softly. “Uh huh, you’re so nice too,” she pinches his cheek; “Why don’t you stay here with granny and grandpa tonight, we have a lot of toys and we have a pool on the backyard.” She suggested, “Really?? Can I mommy, daddy?” Hiu Chung shrugs “Asks mommy, daddy has nothing to say.” “Mother, but he doesn’t have any clothing with him.” Ming-Ming said, “Oh, no need to worry, I heard you guys came back so I prepare a lot of children clothes for my grandson, so he has plenty to change in. Let him stay here tonight, you two just got off the plane, have a good quiet night together.” She said grinning at them.
“Dad, what about you, do you mind??” Ming-Ming asks, “Not at all, I’ve always hoping to spend times Jackie, I have a lot to ask and talk to him, I’ll get a chance to tell my fairytales stories to him.” Mr. Ming-Ming said as he sips some tea. Ming-Ming nodded and smiles. They eat dinner together and they also share the good news about Ming-Ming’s carrying a baby together. Mr. and Mrs. Ming-Ming are really happy to hear about it. They love their daughter so much so it’s glad that they heard about it…and now it’s time for Ming-Ming and Hiu Chung to leave.
Mr. Mrs. Ming-Ming and Jackie took them out to the door. Ming-Ming kneels down to him, “Ok Jackie, promise with mommy that you will be nice and listen to your grandparents!” Ming-Ming put out her pinkies, “Yes, I promise, I’ll be good.” Jackie waggles her pinkies with his. He leans in and kisses her cheek then hugs his daddy goodbye. “Mother, father in law, thank you for having us over for dinner, the foods are delicious, I’ll see you guys tomorrow.” Hiu Chung said and he shook their hands. “Mom, dad, I’ll be here around noon tomorrow to pick up Jackie, goodnight.” Ming-Ming hugs them and follows Hiu Chung to the car.
“Are you cold Ming-Ming?” Hiu Chung asks as he starts the car. “Kind of,” Ming-Ming nodded, he quickly takes his jacket off and put in around her, “What about you?? Aren’t you cold Hiu Chung?” he shook his head, “No I am fine, plus you’re carrying our baby…” he said, and then he remembers about the report, he needs to talk to her. But he didn’t know how or where to begin with. He put it back, and decides it’s better to talk at home, and then he drove back to their house. Hiu Chung pulls in the garage and stops the car. He looks over and saw that Ming-Ming was sleeping peacefully; he smiles at her, she look so pretty. Hiu Chung didn’t want to wake her up so he gently removes her seat belt and carries her inside. He places her down on the bed and pulls the blanket over her, he bends down to kiss her forehead. “I guess…I’ll talk to you tomorrow then, goodnight Ming-Ming.” He smiles and brushes her hair away from her face.
She woke up in the warm dearly morning, she just feels happy today for some reason. She looks, and Hiu Chung was sleeping next to her, she smiles at him and went over to the drawer. She took out the report and quickly rips it; she doesn’t want anyone to know, including Hiu Chung. He woke up, and saw her ripping the report; he lay back down and pretends to be sleeping, but he peeks at her every moment. After Ming-Ming has gone outside to make breakfast, he sat up and sighs; he took a shower and went out into the living room too. He found some oak meal on the table with a note.
“We totally run out of things to eat, I am going to the market and then pick up Jackie, enjoy Oak Meal I guess…I am so sorry! >.< Ming-Ming.”
Hiu Chung laughs at the note and at how silly his wife is; he sat down and starts eating his breakfast. He has miss a chance to talk to Ming-Ming about that report again, he promise himself…no matter what he will talk to her after she has picked up Jackie.

Ack…IDK y…but I try to make Charmaine running from the little talk about the report…sorry if u guys find it annoying…=D
