Ming-Ming still felt guilty, Moses is still her husband and he’s now lost all of his memories she can’t abandon him now… and plus she still have Jackie, what if he find out, he’ll be really sad and upset, Jackie is still really young. Chi Lam understood too, he try to smiles and held onto her hand, “I understand, let go back…” he said and they went back together hand in hand.
Hiu Chung was waiting on the street for them, “Hey guys, you’re back,” he said smiling, and at the moment he saw their hands his heart twisted, but he still keep the smile on, Ming-Ming quickly pulls her hand out of Chi Lam’s, “Hiu Chung, did you remember anything…?” Ming-Ming went over to him, he lightly shook his head, “Not really, I am sorry…” he said, Ming-Ming smiles, “No need to sorry, I promise you’ll regain all of your memories one day…” she said, “Are you guys hungry?” Chi Lam asks, they nodded, “Come on, let go eat.” And they did to a restaurant that when they were in college they use to go to every times.
“You guys wait here, I’ll go get the car,” Chi Lam said, smiling at Hiu Chung and Ming-Ming they nodded. As soon as Chi Lam’s figure disappears, Hiu Chung starts the conversation, “Ming-Ming, why you don’t go back to him?” Ming-Ming turns around, surprise, “Hiu Chung?” “I am sorry, I lied to you this whole time…” he started again, “I have regains my memories earlier…but I was selfish and jealous, I don’t want to give you and Chi Lam a chance to be together. I want you to be my property, and only mine, Ming-Ming…but I over thought it…I was wrong…if I keep doing this, I’ll ended up hurting myself and also the three of us. If I keep going then I would only have your body…not your love…I am sorry Ming-Ming…” he said, lowering his head, Ming-Ming’s mouth hung open, “Hiu Chung?” she stops crying, she reaches out and held his hands, “You have recovers…?” she asks, tears trembles down, she wasn’t mad at all…she was happy indeed, Hiu Chung he has recovers…he remembers everything. “You’re mad…?” he asks, she shook her head and smiles warmly; she pulls him into an embrace…
“I am not, I am just too happy that you remembers everything, thank you to the god, if you don’t recovers, I would felt guilt for the rest of my life…” she said, hugging him tightly, she’s…she’s so nice. Hiu Chung thought, and he wraps his arms around her. This will be their last time…treating each other as wife and husband, “Ming-Ming, I know you don’t love me that way, so please let this be our last time…” he said, “Hiu Chung…” he pushes her gently out of his arms, and smiles at her, “You and Chi Lam are cute together, and more than that it was all just a misunderstood back then that you guys broke up…I was lucky enough to take care of you and Jackie in the past 6 years for Chi Lam. I am happy with all, and now…it’s the time to returns you and Jackie to him…you guys are a family.” Hiu Chung said, Ming-Ming felt her stomach tingle, she didn’t know what the feelings were. Maybe happy, or maybe sad… “But Hiu Chung…we’re husband and wife…I can’t leave you…I felt…guilt…”
“What I need is not love from guilt Ming-Ming…” he said putting his hand on her beautiful face, wiping her tears, “But…I…” he seal her mouth with his finger, “It’s ok, don’t worry, I’ll be able to find a girl myself, who will love me, and I’ll forget about you…but chi Lam after all, he still loves you, it has been 6 years and he still haven’t forget about you, he is the one who truly love and need you Ming-Ming, go back to him…or else we all going to get hurt…” Hiu Chung said. “Hiu Chung, but I can’t leave you like that…I felt…like I am a slut…like I cheated on you…” she said, he shook his head, “No…don’t say that, you’re not, you’re the most beautiful diamond in this world Ming-Ming” (OF COURSE CHARMAINE is sooo pretty) “Hiu Chung, thank you…” Ming-Ming said, Hiu Chung nodded, “No need to thank you, just live a great happy life with Chi Lam, that’s all I want to see from you Ming-Ming…” he said, and she was totally touched, she leans over and hugs him. He smiles and hugs her back, tightly; this is his last time, to smell her orchid scent hair to hold her in his arms, to feel her warm and beautiful…last time…as husband and wife…
Chi Lam was driving down to where they are and he saw…his heart tighten, like there was a knot inside… “Ming-Ming…you still wants to be with Hiu Chung…? Maybe it’s really time for me to leave…” Chi Lam thought, and he finally pulls the car over to them and scrolls his window down, “Hey guys get on,” he try to sound as normal as he could. Chi Lam notices the tears in Ming-Ming’s eyes, he wonder what happened, “Chi Lam…” Ming-Ming and Hiu Chung came over, “We got good news…” they said, “Hiu Chung has recovers, and he regains all the memories…” Ming-Ming bursts out into tears, Chi Lam wanted to reach out to wipes those tears away from her face, but Hiu Chung already done so. “Chi Lam, you see how silly this girl is? I have recovered and she cries instead of smile.” Hiu Chung said smacking her head lightly…they looks cute together…there’s no room for a third person like me…Chi Lam thought. The thoughts eat down his heart, filling him with pains.
“Yes, I can leave now…” he whispers, “Huh?” they both turns around, “What did you just said?” Hiu Chung asks, “No nothing, congratulation, I am really happy with the news, come on, get in the car.” He said, and they did, they drove to Ming-Ming’s parents’ house. They ring the bell and Sis Lan (if you guys still remember her, the maid) went to open the door, they greet and came in.
“Mommy, up here,” Jackie calls waving from upstairs, he has recovers after a few months, Ming-Ming, Hiu Chung waves back, smiling as Jackie ran down and falls into their arms, “Mommy, daddy…Jackie miss you guys so much.” Chi Lam felt like he’s a complete stranger, like he’s not Jackie’s dad, like Jackie, Ming-Ming and Hiu Chung is a family. He lowers his head and look away, “Mom, dad…” Ming-Ming said, looking at her parents. Her mom smiles, but her dad didn’t, she still remembers that day at the hospital where he slaps her. “Ming-Ming, Hiu Chung and Chi Lam, do you guys want to stay for dinner?” her mom asks standing up, she looks over her dad, and he didn’t say words… “I…” “Just stay if you want to,” her dad let out a cold reply, but he truly has forgiven his daughter after all Ming-Ming is still his only daughter. Her mom smiles at her, Ming-Ming nodded, “Then I’ll stay,” she said, smiling, she sighs with relieves…
“SO, Chi Lam, what are you planning on?” Mr. Ming-Ming asks him at the balcony, after they have finished with the dinner, “What do you mean uncle?” Chi Lam asks, confuse, “I hope you understand this, Hiu Chung has recovers, and Jackie, he’s still young and I don’t want my grandson to be hurt, you better leave Ming-Ming and Hiu Chung a lone, after all, they’re husband and wife with paper works. Do you…understand?” Chi Lam froze, he didn’t know what to say, he just felt that his heart is totally sank, he looks in from the glass door, and saw that Ming-Ming Hiu Chung and Jackie were sharing a piece of cake, Jackie smiles and put some cream on Ming-Ming’s face and Hiu Chung, they laughs and make Chi Lam smiles. He nodded, “Yes, I got what you mean uncle; I am going to buy ticket to America for next week…so you don’t have to worry, and I won’t be a third-partier and destroy their happiness.” Chi Lam announces. His voice sound bitter, he felt like there’s a huge stone placing on top of his heart, heavy and painful. “I am sorry, but you have to understand Chi Lam, Ming-Ming is my one and only daughter I don’t want her to get hurt…anymore. So the best way is for you to leave her…”
At the moment, Ming-Ming steps out, “Dad, Chi Lam, what are you guys talking about?” she asks smiling, “Who’s leaving and leaving who?” she asks again, “No, nothing, we’re just discussing about the…” Ming-Ming’s dad was stuck, “we’re discussing about the stock market…” Chi Lam said, “Oh,” Ming-Ming smiles, “Mommy said the sweet dumplings are ready, you guys come in and have some…” and the three went in the house. The family gathers around, eating dumplings, doing karaoke, the whole time, Chi Lam kept his eyes on that one girl that he loved, Ming-Ming. Will I ever be able to see her again after today?
