Ming-Ming drove to her parents’ house, Hiu Chung has moved out, and no one really know about it except for her, Jackie and her parents, Jackie has been really upset since Hiu Chung moved out. Ming-Ming told him that it because Hiu Chung is sick, so he has to stay out so Jackie won’t get virus. Even though Jackie is 5(6) he could understand that his parents are breaking up.

She walks in the garden where her mom and dad were watering the plan, Jackie was inside the house watching TV and eating cakes, Ming-Ming just wanted to say hi and inform them that she’s taking Jackie home but when she got there she heard some news…
“Honey, I don’t think that will work, if Ming-Ming found out she’ll be even more upset.” Her mom said Ming-Ming quickly hid herself behind the column and listen carefully to the conversation. “I know, but Chi Lam has to leave, Hiu Chung, Ming-Ming and Jackie is a family, despite the fact that Jackie is Chi Lam’s son. He’s too young to learn about it, and we can’t let them back, how can they explain to Jackie and what about Hiu Chung? He sacrifices a lot for our daughter, he’s a good guy, unlike Chi Lam 6 years ago, he dumb our daughter right in public and…” “I understand, but isn’t that mean to send Chi Lam away without Ming-Ming notification and then tell her after he’s gone?” “I know, but…this is the best way for Ming-Ming” her dad said, closing the conversation.
Tears fell down on her face, “Mom, Dad…how can you do that to me?” she asks, getting out form the column, “Ming-Ming,” they both turns around and look at their daughter’s painful face. “Ming-Ming, we…we only thought up the best for you…” they try to explain. “The best…? Mom, dad, how could you do that, Chi Lam didn’t do anything wrong, if there’s something wrong, it would been my fault…” she said crying, “Ming-Ming,” “How could you send him away, when you guys know it will hurt me? Is that what you call BEST mom? Dad?” she asks, running out the house to her car and drove to the airport, leaving Mr. and Mrs. Ming-Ming standing blankly looking at each other without a word.
The rain pours down, lightning strikes, like god were crying for the sake of their painful relationship.
Ming-Ming’s heart shatters when she got to the airport, like a crazy woman, she ran from place to place hoping to find Chi Lam. After half an hour, she starts to panic, what if Chi Lam is really gone? What will she do? She didn’t tell him yet, how she felt; no…Chi Lam can’t leave. She loves him! Tears tremble down to her, she felt emptiness and she collapse right down onto the floor, burying her beautiful face into her hands, crying hardly; she ignores how people look at her. She continue to cry, “Chi Lam…Chi Lam…please don’t leave…” she whispers…
Chi Lam held his ticket in hand, he was standing in the line before the gate, but something call him back, a knot in his heart, he felt like Ming-Ming was somewhere near, he wants to stay…he really wants to stay. “Hey, did you see that girl?” some one said, “Yes, she was crying, poor girl; she looks like she lost everything, she just sat their panicking and crying,” “Love struck?” another person asks, “I guess so, whoever is her boyfriend is heartless…she’s so pretty and she’s in pain…and her boyfriend…” “Ming-Minh?” Chi Lam didn’t know how he got the thought but he quickly ran over places to find her.
He finally spotted a group of crowd, he quickly rushes over and pushes people a side, Ming-Ming was sitting on the floor hugging her knees and crying. His heart busted at the images, he felt tears ran down from his eyes, he made her cry a lot of times, but this time he felt like he has hurt her for eternity. He doesn’t want to leave this place, Hong Kong, leave his lover and his family anymore to a cold icy country like America, all he wanted now is to stay. To held that one beautiful woman in his arms and to love and console her.
“Ming-Ming,” that one familiar voice, her heart rang, she quickly swung her head up and looks, and Chi Lam was kneeling down next to her, “Chi Lam,” her eyes filled with tears. He didn’t wait any longer he pulled her into his embrace and hug her tightly. “Don’t leave me…please don’t leave me…” she sobs, which make his heart ache. He tights her in his arms, “I am sorry, I am so sorry Ming-Ming, I won’t leave you ever again, even if anything happen, anyone try to divide us, I won’t leave you…I will always stay by your side and love you until the world turn up side down…” he mumbles in her hair.
She smiles and squeezes him as tears fell down both of their eyes, “I love you…a lot…” she whispers, he smiles and pushes her out of his arms gently and look into her deep brown eyes, “I love you too, a lot…” he said, and they leans in and kiss. Everybody around them claps and even the god stop the lightning outside to celebrate for their love. The lets go and smile at each other warmly, “Lets go home, Ming-Ming,” Chi Lam put his hand out and held hers, they have to tell everyone…to tell them that they’re together and they won’t divide ever again, and they’ll have to explain to Jackie.
