...Ming-Ming was so scare, Jackie was everything to her, and she ran out of the store starts to search everywhere. Than she drip and fall, tears scroll down on her face, a gentle man helps her up and asks “Miss, is there something wrong??” she cries and says “My…my child…he’s gone…” Ming-Ming cries harder, she was so scare. “Please calm down miss, let’s go to the main office and talk on the speaker, maybe you’re child will heard and come.” Ming-Ming nodded. She decides to call Chung, but she doesn’t know why she dials…Lam’s number instead….

Hong Kong: 2007:
Lam was sleeping in his bed, his phone rang all of the sudden, he picks it up, it’s Ming-Ming’s number, and he sat up and looks at his phone for a moment. A smile spread over his face, “Hello?” he said.
America: 2007
Ming-Ming was shocked when she heard Chi Lam’s voice, what am I doing?? Why did I call him?? I am supposed to call Hiu Chung! She thought, than she hung up on Chi Lam and quickly dials Chung’s number. Deep down in her heart, Ming-Ming knew that whenever she is scare or nervous the only person who could help her is Chi Lam, that’s why she called him. (so she love him...yup, very, very much) mu ha ha...<---ok I am getting weird.)
“Hello?” Hiu Chung answers, “Hiu Chung…” he could hear Ming-Ming crying, and her voice is breaking apart, “Ming-Ming, what happen? Why are you crying?” “Hiu Chung…Jackie…he’s gone…” “What? Why?” “I don’t know…when I came back from the…bathroom…he’s gone…” “Wait, calm down Ming-Ming, don’t worry, tell me where you are and I'll come to you right away.” Hiu Chung said, “At the mall near our house.” Ming-Ming said, “Stay calm Ming-Ming I am coming.” Hiu Chung said, he rushes off to the main office and tell his boss what happen. His boss is a pretty nice man, so he lets Hiu Chung go.
Ming-Ming is sitting there, waiting at the front office of the mall for Hiu Chung, her heart beat abruptly. Her eyes were red, tears were filled.
Fifteen minutes later Hiu Chung arrives. Ming-Ming ran over and fall into his arms crying. “It’s ok Ming-Ming I am here, don’t worry.” Hiu Chung hugs her tightly hoping to calm her down. He touches her face and wipes her tears away “Now, calm down and tell me what happen Ming-Ming.” He looks into her eyes and said softly.
“A moment ago, I took Jackie into the toy store, than I felt sick…so I went to the bathroom to wash my face. I told Jackie to stay in the toy store and wait for me, but when I came back…Jackie is gone…the workers told me he went outside to look for me…but I couldn’t find him anywhere…” Her tears are running down, Ming-Ming cries harder, “I am sorry…I am so sorry Chung, I lost Jackie…” “Ming-Ming calm down, we could get help…I am sure he is still around the mall area, we will find him, it’s not your fault Ming-Ming.”
Hiu Chung held her arms and shook her out of the “It’s my fault” thoughts. “No, it is my fault, I should have taken him with me, I shouldn’t leave him in the toy store alone, and he’s just a kid.” “Ming-Ming, stop blaming yourself, Jackie is a kid, but he’s not stupid, if you just standing here and blaming yourself, we will never find Jackie.” Hiu Chung said, he wipes up her tears, “Now, calm down Ming-Ming, lets looks around for Jackie.” Ming-Ming nodded.
Hong Kong: 2007
Why did she call me and than hung up? Should I call her back? Maybe something is wrong…!
~~~Chi Lam’s flash back:
Hong Kong: 2000, at the mountain.
“Where are you Ming-Ming? Where are you?” Lam called as he searches from trees to trees bushes to bushes hoping to find Ming-Ming. They went hiking, but than they lost each other. Chi Lam is really worried, he knows that Ming-Ming is scare of the wood, and she don’t like to be alone in it either, so he have to find her before dark.
Ming-Ming has falls down from the hills, she has hurt her leg, she is really scare now, she couldn’t get up and don’t know where Chi Lam is. She lost her cell when she falls down. She begins to cries, “Chi Lam, where are you? Come. I am really scare.” She held her leg, and looks around with her tearful eyes. Everything is so different, she doesn’t know a thing about this wood, and the sky is getting darker. Clouds start to form, rains start to drip. Ming-Ming is all wet, she cries and calls out: “Chi Lam!” but he didn’t come, her heart beats really fast. She got so scare, Ming-Ming got tire and cold because of the rain. She felt her heart rang, she try to looks but all she could see is damage images, everything starts to get blurry, and she felt her head really hurt and dizzy. She falls down to the ground, unconscious and not knowing what happens around her.
“Ming-Ming?? Where are you? Answer me!” all Chi Lam could thinks about now is to find Ming-Ming, he can’t lose her, she is a really really special and important person to him. He ignore how wet he is, he ignore the hard rain pouring down on his body and continue to search for Ming-Ming.
suddenly he spots something red on the ground, and he could recognize the heart shape charm on Ming-Ming phone. He bends down to pick the phone up, and it was Ming-Ming’s. She has to be near here. The screen of Ming-Ming’s phone has broken, he looks around and calling out her name.
As he approaches the hill, he felt nervous, Ming-Ming if you’re down there, I hope you’re not hurt; you have to be all right. He looks down and yes, there is she lying unconsciously on the wet ground, he slide down quickly ignores branches crashing into his skin cutting it.
he fell next to her; he held her up and lays her in his arms. He shook her gently, and touches her face. “Ming-Ming?? Are you ok? What happen?” Her face and forehead are hot, he hug her tightly, he kisses her hair,
“Ming-Ming, don’t scare me, wake up…” he said, “…Chi Lam…you’re here…you’ve found me…I am so scare…” he hear her voice softly brushing against his arm, “Ming-Ming, are you ok? Thanks goodness you’re awake.” “I am so tire…” “Don’t worry, I’ll take you to the hospital now, everything will be fine. I am here.”
Ming-Ming smiles weakly, her tears are rolling down on her face, she fell asleep again. Chi Lam scoops her up and headed out of the forest. Even though he is worried about her, but he felt happy, at least he didn’t lose her, she’s here, and he has found her. Because of the heart charm he has found her. Each of them has half of the charm, representing there love…
End of flash back.
