Gerald went downstairs and starts moving around the kitchen get the paper and have a coffee he knows that he will be having coffee alone, He enjoyed the newspaper, nothing but good words from the press regarding last nights event.
He was seating having coffee when the phone ring.
Gerald: good morning ma, Kimmy still asleep must be really tired from last events.
Mrs. Chiu: I am calling if you guys can have lunch with us after church.
Gerald: Ma, we probably go to church in the afternoon, I want Kimmy to sleep-in a little more.
Mrs. Chiu: well in that case how about dinner?
Gerald: we love to Ma, I’ll tell Kimmy when she get-up.
Mrs. Chiu: Okay Iho, I am going to invite your parents too. It’s been a while since we do this, today is the perfect day, and everyone is available after the event last night.
Gerald: see you tonight Ma, tell Papa I say Hi.
Mrs. Chiu: See you tonight iho.
Almost the whole morning is gone and Kim is still sleeping. Gerald is ready for lunch after the whole morning of house chore he did. If one thing about Gerald, he knows his way around the house, living in the States really help him in this area. He noticed the time and wondering if he should wake-up Kim, we went upstairs and found out that Kim is actually awake but don’t feel like getting-up.
Gerald: oh hi Babe, good afternoon (smiling and then kiss his wife) so tired huh?
Kim: morning babe, I know, I feel like I haven’t sleep for a week. It’s been a while I feel this kind of tiredness.
Gerald: sorry babe, my fault. (Kissing his wife neck)
Kim: so you brought me up here? When?
Gerald: if I didn’t know better, I would think that you’re drunk (laughing) I carry you up this morning, you even open your eyes and smile at me, and even give me a kiss when you’re hugging me. (Laughing) you must be really tired.
Kim: I don’t know I guess everyone finish my energy last night. (Then trying to get-up) I just take a bath, and then maybe I would feel better.
Gerald: I’ll come, I’ll give you a bath (raising his eyebrows and giving Kim a malicious smile)
Kim: Mr. Gerald Anderson, I know I am so irresistible, sexy and hot to your eyes, but can you please give me a break? (Laughing while giving Gerald a pat on the face) You are the reason why I am so tired, remember?
Gerald: (pouting like a child) Okay, I’ll wait for you downstairs, lunch is ready.
Kim: thank you babe (then kiss Gerald)
Gerald: what you mean thank you, you owe me one (then slap Kim’s bottom) and you know I always collect.
Kim: ouch you punk!
Kim hit the shower and starts to observe her body. She knows that changes start to happen, even not noticeable yet she knows all the sign. She doesn’t want to confirm yet because she is thinking about her Mission. She got five more days then Saturday is her schedule to go to Cebu for the project. She doesn’t want to keep secrets from her husband but at the same time she knows that if she is confirmed to be pregnant, there is no way Gerald would allow her to go. So she chooses to wait when she comes back and she’ll see the doctor to go through the entire test for the confirmation. For now, what ever are her doubts, she keeps it to her self but she is aware that she needs to be extra careful incase she is really pregnant.
She went downstairs and sees all the work her husband did, the house is sparkling clean, the dirty laundry is ready to be drop off to the cleaners, the fridge is clean and the grocery list is right at sticking on the fridge.
Kim; wow Babe, you make me so proud of you, I feel so bad that you have to do all of this.
Gerald: Baby, I know that you’re so tired, and besides this are not new to me. I always clean my own place that’s why I don’t need Ate Pokwang to clean for me; I just call her when I need her. But now, I think we should let her come everyday, I don’t want you to get tired.
Kim; Babe, we don’t need her for now. We just call her if we need to.
Gerald: ok. C’mon babe, lets have lunch then we go to church for afternoon service. Mama call we are going to have dinner with the whole family tonight.
Kim: Okay, I missed them too, Last night I don’t have time to spend with them. Babe, we need to get something for the kids then.
Gerald: no, I was warned not to. They think we spoiled them.
Kim: Babe, the mission is already next weekend; I am so excited to spend time with our grandfathers again. So we are leaving Friday?
Gerald: yes, we are leaving Friday morning; we’re taking the chopper, that way the whole Friday we can send with them.
Kim: so where are we staying?
Gerald: it’s all up to you.
Kim: we can stay with Lolo Luis but then, Kuya Jake & Ate Roxanne and the kids are already there. While Lolo Daddy is by himself, maybe we can stay with Lolo Greg.
Gerald: Thank you Babe, Lolo Daddy will be happy. I’ll call the Hacienda and let them know. (Then Gerald noticed that his wife appetite) poor baby, you must be really hungry.
Kim: I am. I am so hungry that even though I’m not done yet, I am already thinking of eating dessert.
Gerald: (laughing) now I know how to feed you good.
Kim: (looking at Gerald) you do...how?
Gerald: worked you out first then, these what happen. (Laughing)
Kim: Hahahaha very funny…but to be honest, it did worked!
Gerald: so what dessert you want?
Kim: I don’t know…..maybe….Crema de Pruta?
Gerald: huh? We don’t have that.
Kim: I know, so let’s go out after we eat.
Gerald: ok baby, anything you want. (Then get-up and kiss Kim)
They went to get Kim’s dessert, sped time walking around looking at the furniture. Their schedule was so busy that since they moved to the townhouse they haven’t got a chance to get the furniture they need for the house. Kim ends up buying some clothes as she notice she is gaining weight. After the shopping, they went straight to church and go to Kim’s parent’s house for the dinner.
When they arrived, everyone is already there; most of them are already there since lunch time. As they come in, everyone was so happy to see Kim & Gerald especially the children. Kim & Gerald are both very good with children. Everybody hug & kiss, everyone complement how good Kim & Gerald look.
Roxanne: Kimmy, you really look good; you look so fresh & relax.
Gerald: as her how long she was sleeping.
Kim: I know. I was sleeping almost whole morning.
Mrs. Anderson: after last night, I would be sleeping all morning too.
Mrs. Chiu: Okay everyone now that this two are here, let’s all go to dinning room and start the dinner.
Everyone got there seat, Anne is seating next to Kim beside her seating Gerald with Piolo. As they are eating, the whole long dinning table was so busy, everyone talking, joking around while Anne & Kim have their own small conversation.
Anne: Kimmy I can’t help to noticed, you are gaining weight…. (Looking straight at Kim)…are you…?
Kim: (looking at her with not to laud look, nodding, whispering) I am not sure; maybe….but Ge has no clue.
Anne: why don’t you confirm?
Kim: next week when I come back from Cebu….can we walk tomorrow?
Anne: okay, come see me, Kimmy you have to.
Kim: okay Ate (then kiss Anne)
A lot of hugging, kissing and laughing all night, both Families are very happy having the children and grandchildren together. As conversation going, someone else noticed Kim is gaining weight.
Mrs. Chiu: Iha, Kimmy I think you are gaining weight.
Gerald: Ma, the way she eats and sleeps now days, no doubt. Just look at her right now, eating on that Sans Rival like crazy. (Laughing)
Piolo: the old Kimmy is back, remember when she was small. She’ll stay all night eating.
Everyone was so busy making fun of Kim’s appetite that they totally miss the whole sign. That maybe all this uncontrolled appetite is because another Anderson is on the way.
