Ming Dao: Shao Wei, can i have a copy of Chen Qiao En's resume?
Shao Wei: Don't you have a copy?
Ming Dao: I think i chuck it somewhere else.
Shao Wei: I'll ask your secretary to pass to you. Is it urgent?
Ming Dao: Erm.. Not really, just give it to me before knocking off, and by the way, if my mom calls, tell her i'll be home for dinner.
Shao Wei: Serious huh? i think she'll be glad to hear that.
Ming Dao: See you tonight then!
During the dinner at Ming Dao's place.
Mrs Lin: Ming Dao, finally you're home for dinner.
Ming Dao: Sorry, have been busy lately, will try to be back more often.
Mr Lin: Don't overwork yourself, health is more important.
Mrs Lin turned to Shao Wei.
Mrs Lin:So Shao Wei, how's the wedding preparation?
Shao Wei:Godma, everything's more or less settled, left with the trying of gowns.
Mrs Lin: Shao Wei, now you're getting married, is equivalent to me getting a daughter-in-law. So from now on, call me mom, just like that Ming Dao did.
Shao Wei: Er..
Ming Dao: See! i told you.. We grew up together just like own brothers. My parents treated you like own son, quick call them mom and dad!
Shao Wei: Mom.. Dad..
Mr & Mrs Lin: That's great!
Mr Lin: So Xiao Qiao, have you found your bridemaid?
Xiao Qiao: Yep! She's my close sister who grew up with me at the orphanage.
Mrs Lin: Ok.. Introduce to us some days.
Shao Wei: No worries, you'll get to see her when we go for the trying of gowns.
Mrs Lin: Xiao Qiao, since you're going to get married, don't call us Uncle and Aunty anymore, follow Shao Wei, call us dad and mom.
Xiao Qiao *blushed*: Orh..
Mr Lin *turns to Ming Dao*: So how's the interview today? Still haven't found someone suitable for the position?
Ming Dao: Everything's fine. She's starting work tomorrow.
Mr Lin: Ok.. good to hear that.
Shao Wei: Hey! i still don't understand why this time you confirm her so fast?
Ming Dao: Like i have mentioned, i think she has the capabilities.
Shao Wei: Really?
Ming Dao: Don't you think so?
Shao Wei: Yea..
Mrs Lin: ok.. enough of work, let's enjoy the dinner.
After dinner, Ming Dao went to his study room.
"Knock knock"
Shao Wei: Ming Dao..
Ming Dao: Ya..
Shao Wei: So decided to have a change in lifestyle?
Ming Dao: huh?
Shao Wei: No more nightlife?
Ming Dao: Nah.. just for tonight. I don't wish my mom to nag at me for not coming home for dinner and always getting home late.
Shao Wei:Oh i see... So have you gotten the resume?
Ming Dao: Yep! Thanks.
Shao Wei: Why you want that for?
Ming Dao: Just for reference.
Shao Wei: hmm... ok, shan't disturb you then. I gotta send Xiao Qiao home already. nites.
Ming Dao: nite.
After Shao Wei left, Ming Dao sat on his armrest chair, looking the Qiao En's resume.
Ming Dao(POV): Chen Qiao En? Wonder what kind of girl is she. Her smile resembles so much like Tian Yu...
