“Let’s make a trip to Soo Young-shi house since we are near the vicinity,“ discussed Junsu.
Upon arrival, they were greeted by the caretaker of the ‘home’. The caretaker then explained what had happened to Soo Young-shi. The truth has begun to lighten but the chances have decreased, with one person down. Heechul spirits was dampened. Seeing the expression that Heechul gave out, Taecyeon put his hand over Heechul’s shoulder and gave him a tight grip. “It’s ok! We still have Solbi-shi,” Taecyeon put on a cheery smile so that Heechul will not be discouraged.
“The number you have dialed is no longer in use,” said the telephone operator.
“Let’s go to Solbi-shi home address as given by the admin staff,” said optimistic Junsu after putting down the handphone.
Everyone was already tired because they have been filming since morning. But they were so enthusiastic in making the mission successful.
By the time they reached Solbi’s house, it was already night.
“Ding-dong! Ding-dong!” Junsu pressed the door bell of the three-storey mansion. But no one came. They waited for a while. Junsu lifted his head up and said, ”The house is dark.” The rest looked up too. After that, Junsu turned his face to Taecyeon and had this ‘HOW and WHAT TO DO NOW’ expressions all over his face. Taecyeon was able to read Junsu expressions. He, himself was struck.
Then, a neighbour from next door came. “Is there anything that matters?” said the old lady puzzled. She must have been alarmed, seeing so many people with cameras and lightings standing infront of the house.
“We are looking for Solbi-shi and it seems that no one is at home,” assured Junsu.
“Ah, I see,” the old lady felt relieved. “Solbi-shi family has migrated years back and this house has been empty ever since they left.”
And before she could continue, “What migrated?!” exclaimed Heechul. His only hope has been dashed.
“Yes, migrated. But it’s only her family,” explained that lady. “Solbi is still here but she has moved out because this house is too big for her to stay alone. Once in a while, she will come back to check this house and visit the neighbours.”
Hopes that were dashed enlightened. Heechul and others felt relieved.
“Is there any way we can keep in touch with Solbi-shi?” asked Taecyeon. The old lady hesitated but when Taecyeon explained to her about the programme and about Heechul, she came to know more about the situation. Then, she went inside her house and came out with a piece of note stating, Solbi’s home number.
After thanking the old lady, they went back into their car and Heechul immediately dialed the number.
“Ring... Ring… Ring…” Heechul waited anxiously.
“Anyone?” asked Junsu by his side.
“Not yet,” Heechul shook his head.
“Hello,” a panting voice answered.
