"Hey Jess,you're just in time."he said"Food just arrived.I got chinese,so I hope you don't mind."
"I don't mind,and I'm starving."I said
"Good thing we have enough rice to last us a few days."Sam said
I laughed and help get everything set.I wanted to let my feelings out to Sam again.Maybe he could help me.I poked and played with my orange chicken around my dish and sighed.
"Jess,you haven't touched your food."Same said"Are you okay?"
"Sam...I have this friend.And I fele like this friend is hiding something from me."I said
"Well,what is this friend hiding?"Sam asked
"I feel like Ging-I mean Gina and Br-I mean Beth is hiding something from me,and Gina is acting strange."I said
"Well,did you tell Gina and Beth how you felt?"Sam asked
"Yeah,but they told me not to worry or get involved."I said"But,part of me knows they are lying."
Sam had a deep thought.He sat in his chair and thought the way L did for a minute.
"My deductive reasoning skill have coem to the concusion that Gina may be in fact,the third Kira."he said,like L
I couldn't help but to laugh.Sam always made me feel better.But I needed a serious answer.
"But really,give it some time."he finally said"Things will get better.Tomorrow is another day,and maybe they'll tell you."
I had faith in Sam.I knew he was right.I shouldnt be worrying so much.Sam and I took some time to watch tv.The news was on,and there was a bulletin.
"A high school student goes missing today.High school student,Trina Sinclair dissappeared yestrday night after allegedly going for a walk around 9pm.Earlier that day,Sinclair reportedly got into a fight with classmate,Ginger Fitzgerald.Neighbors reported hearing Sinclair and the Fitzgerald sisters having an arguement in the Fitzgerald backyard.No evidence has been filed or shown against the student of Sincliar's dissapearance.If you have any information regarding Trina Sinclair,and her whereabouts,contact the Bailey Downs Police Department."a reporter stated
Sam turned the tv and we couldn't believe it.We didn't think Trinia would just dissappear like this.But we figured some sicko kidnapped her,but she would come back.We'd only know the truth later on in time.
The night went by fast,and dawn approched.I got dressed,had breakfast with Sam and headed out to school.Before I left,I saw something strange.On Sam's desk there was a small empty vial,and papers scattered across the room of pictures,and old books on plants.Was it a new drug he was working on?I shrugged and went on.When I got to school,I knew something was wrong.The hallways were set up with Halloween decorations.It was a creepy eerie feeling and it felt like home.I loved that stuff.There were also missing signs of Trinia around school.Ginger was at her locker.She looked angry.She kicked her locker and screamed.
"Hey Ginger."I said
"Hey Jess."she said,aggervated
"Whats wrong?"I asked
She turned to me,as if she was about to attack me.
"Nothing..nothing at all."She sighed
"I'm just worried Ginger."I said"You,Sam and 'B' are all I have."
"I know Jessie,I know."Ginger said"I'm just having problems right now,and it's hard to deal with.Just don't worry about it okay?"
"Look,I'll see you later."I said
"Bye."she said
I walked off to my first class and sat in the back.Brigette walked in and sat beside me.
"Did you hear about Sinclair?"I asked
"Ye-yeah."B said,kind of nervous
"I wonder what happened to her."I said
"Maybe she got killed by a pack of rabid dogs."'Brigitte said
"Lets hope so."I whispered scarastically
B didn't say anything.She just stared at her notebook,and drew on it.
"B...whats going on?"I asked"I know you and Ginger are hiding something from me."
"Jessie,if I told you what's going on,you'd wish you were deaf.Because it's so unreal."Brigette said
"Tell me.I whispered
"I...I can't."she said
"Why?"I asked
"I just can't,okay."B said
I ignored B for the rest of the class,and Ginger was acting stranger.Something caught my attention.A student,male running down the hall to the nurse's office freaked out.It looked like he pissed his pants.
"My pen exploded!"the student shouted"My red pen exploded!"
School was become so...strange.I returned the greenhouse to see Sam reading something.
"What are you doing Sam?"I asked
"Making something for a friend."he said,writing in a notebook
He showed flipped through the pages,until he got to thsi purple plant.
"Aconitum lycoctonum"I said confused
"Also known as monkshood."Sam said
"Who would need monkshood?"I asked
"For my friend's safety,I just can't tell you."he said
"Sam!"I said"Please tell me.Everyone is hiding something from me."
"Look,I'll tell you later."he said
