I was probably halfsleeping ever since both of us got tired but for some odd reason I couldn't fall asleep.
JaeJoong was tiredly sleeping right next to me in the tent, wrapping his arms around me like I was a teddybear and holding me close to him. Although, he was sleeping deeply. I maybe did fall asleep for 1 hour or two but now I was wide awake, not being able to fall asleep and that irritated me a bit cause I really needed to sleep cause who knows what he might have planned for us tomorrow..
I looked around in the tent, looking at the balloons that we had pushed to the corner of the tent, actually there wasn't much to see since it just looked the same in the entire tent. But the teddybears that was waiting for me in the corner was smiling happily towards me.. and in the dark, I even smiled at them...
After JaeJoong's confession we didn't do much except eating, which he had prepared and some hot chocolate. I then had requested him to play some more on the piano and so he did and for every tune that was coming out from the pianos small speakers, I was falling more and more..
We had then decided to sleep since I sensed that he was tired because of driving the entire day and he had fallen asleep within 10 minutes..
He even hummed to a lullaby in order to make me sleep and I guess I did fall asleep but now I was wide awake..
I looked up to see his eyes closed, his beautiful feature marking his perfect face as he was breathing deeply. I didn't want to wake him up and I knew that if I tried to sleep, lying here next to him, it would probably be harder for me to actually fall asleep so I decided to go out for a walk. Afterall, I knew this forest better than I knew my school back in Seoul ..
I silently and carefully released myself from his grip and sat up, without making any noises. I put a teddybear right next to him so that he could hold it instead of me cause if there was something that I had noticed, then it was that he had to hug something while sleeping..
I planted a soft kiss on his cheek before climbing outside the tent and putting my shoes on. The wind was blowing freely, making the sound of the trees, swaying as I could hear further away, some kind of river streaming..
It was peaceful..
I had no idea what time it was but it couldn't be more than 3 am. The night were probably adjusting itself so that the sun would could rise beautifully in an hour or two..
I had forgot to bring my sweater but for some reason i didn't feel cold at all. I was feeling warm. Not freezing but more like.. at ease. Probably it was the blood rushing through my veins, keeping my body heat warm to the max. Wae?
Because I was still trying to understand the love between me and JaeJoong..
I wandered around keeping my right eye wide open so that I wouldn't trip over and I soon saw the tree that I wanted to see. Our tree..
I was standing about 2 feet away, watching it carefully as my hair was freely blowing in sync with the wind. The air was brushing my neck and skin, in a ticklish way and I couldn't help but to let out a heavy sigh of pleasure..
I walked towards the tree with the hole in front of me and I watched it with every step that I was taking. The tree that had brought us together, the tree that had connected us.. and also the tree that had given me the miracle of life..
A silent tear fell down as I touched it carefully, still thinking of all the opportunities, the wonderful memories that the tree had created for me..
I soon slided my hand inside the hole and I felt something inside..
With shaky hands I grabbed it and took it outside in order to look at it closer..

For some reason it didn't feel right. Not at all..
I felt my eyes moving under the eyelids as my consciousness was slowly coming back and I soon could feel the scent in the tent. But something was missing.. and whatever I was holding, it didn't feel like Yumi..
My hands and arms started to search for her and I soon felt that I was holding a teddybear. I shot up right away from where I was lying and looked around. No a single track of where Yumi was..
"yUmi?"
No answer
My heart started to beat faster as I slowly felt the panic coming. My breathing started to increase and inside my head I started to fear the worst. That she was gone.. that she had left me..
I took on the tee and I put on my sneakers and got outside the tent and looked around. She wasn't anywhere to be seen or was it me that was way too blind to even recognize my girlfriend?
"Yumi???!" I said a bit louder. I looked around but still no sign of her
But then like a wake up call, I heard someone sobbing. I felt my heart sinking down to the ground, through the globe if it was possible as I heard the sobbing again..
I looked around and followed the sound of sobbing and soon I saw her. Splendid beautiful in her dress, as her hair was down, freely blowing with the wind. She wasn't facing me, her head was bended down, as if she was looking at something..
I once again heard her sob and I couldn't take it anymore. I walked over to her, almost running but it was kind of impossible to run since there was like 4 feet keeping us at a distance..
Why was she crying?
I approached her slowly as I heard her sob again and I slowly wrapped my arms around her waist as I looked down behind her shoulder
"What is this.." I heard her whisper
I then realized that she was holding the gift I had prepared..
I chuckled slightly as I looked at it..
"Is that the reason for your crying?" I whispered
She nodded slowly
I chuckled
"It's.. something i prepared.. but you weren't suppose to find out this way. But I guess this tree is really something, even making you wake up in the middle of the night.."
She was holding the crystals that was resembling us in her hands, watching it as I had engraved our initials in it..
I suddenly felt her spin around, so fast that I wasn't even able to react before she was hugging me closely.
I chuckled quietly as I hugged her tightly and close to me
"Can you please stop sobbing?" I chuckled as I heard her laugh quietly
"I love you Jae.. Thank you for everything"
I kissed her neck as I felt my entire body tremble when she had said that she loved me. I started to feel her tears drowning my tee as she was sobbing onto my shoulder.
I was more than satisfied of the crystals that I had prepared. One half was me, one half was her. If you put the two crystals together, it would look like we're kissing and the initials was perfectly matching it. The crystals wasn't that big, probably the size of my hand if not smaller and it looked like its crystal looked like some kind of grand prize winning. I was so lucky that I was able to find this glass factory cause I had a really hard time to find a suitable gift for this trip...
"Uljima~~" I whispered
"how can I not?" I heard her whisper back as she pulled away from me
I laughed quietly as I looked at her
We walked back to the tent but I didn't feel like sleeping no more and she didn't seem to be tired..
"You want to go back to the cabin?"
She looked up as I asked her
"Ji geum ? Wae?"
I shrugged
"I'm not tired anymore besides if we go back, we can sleep there and we don't need to come back out here tomorrow to bring back the stuff to the cabin" I smiled
She chuckled and about 10 minutes later we were on our way back ..
