Wonbin’s POV
Where are these guys taking us?
“Excuse me, but where are you taking us?” Eunji blurted out.
“Please stay quiet. You’ll know soon enough.” The man in the suit shut her up by raising his hand in front of her face.
“Let’s just wait and see.” I whispered to her.
She half whimpered as she squirmed in her seat.
“Don’t worry.” I whispered to her as I patted her hand.
She weakly smiled up at me.
Moments later, we came to a stop. Then someone opened up the door for us.
“Please follow me.” The man in the suit ordered.
We all followed closely. We entered a big building with many posters hung up on the walls.
“F&C Music.” I heard Miyoko said out loud.
“Is this supposed to be a record company?” Minhee asked.
Everyone shrugged.
“Mr.Kim. I’ve brought them here.” The man in the suit said as he knocked on the door of an office.
“Bring them in.” The man inside said.
The door opened and the five of us got pushed inside. The girls stayed outside until we were finished.
“Wait! What are you doing? This is illegal! You’re kidnapping us.” Minwhan screamed as he struggled away from the man’s grip.
“We’re not kidnapping you. You think we’d build a building just so that we can kidnap young stars like you five?” The man inside said.
We were all dumbfounded. The door shut behind us.
“Please take a seat gentleman.” He said as he showed us two couches.
“You must be wondering who I am. Well. My name is Kim Jinsu. I’m the CEO of this music company. I just watched your live performance on TV and saw that you five have talent.” He explained with a small smile.
We all stayed silent. None of us said a single word for five whole minutes. It was Mr. Kim who broke the silence.
“Well, what I’m trying to say is, that I want to sign you five up for a contract. I want to make you five into Korea’s next biggest stars, right next to DBSK.” He continued.
“What? But… we don’t have that kind of talent.” I stuttered.
“Yes you do. You all proved that to me. I believe my own instincts. Now are you five willing to sign this contract?” He said as he handed each of us a folder.
I opened the folder then scanned through each page. It was true. This guy wanted to make us stars.
“What do you guys think?” I asked the others.
“This is a great chance. I’m willing to take it. My parents are fully supporting me.” Jonghoon said with a smile.
“My parents too. I’m ready for this.” Jaejin agreed.
“Me too!” Minwhan happily said.
“This is going to be fun.” Hongki smiled.
“What about you Wonbin? Are you up for this?” Jaejin questioned me.
I took a moment to think. I truly love singing and playing the guitar. So there’s no reason as to not agree.
“I’m in!” I smiled along with them.
“Great. So, I just want you guys to sign here. And I’ll be contacting you for further news.” Mr. Kim.
We signed the contract and was out of the office in no longer then half an hour.
We were all smiles when we excited the building.
“So, what happened? You still haven’t told us yet!” Miyoko whined once we got on the first floor.
“Really. It’s nothing. I already told you.” Minwhan tried holding back the truth.
“You’re hiding something from me. If you don’t tell me, I’m never talking to you again.” Miyoko pouted at him.
“Fine. WE. GOT. SIGNED. TO. BE. STARS!” He happily yelled out.
The three girls froze in their spot and stared at us as if we were lying to them.
“YOU WHAT?!” Minhee burst out.
“We’re going to be famous!” Jonghoon said as he grabbed Minhee’s hands and danced in a circle.
“OH MY GOD! GUYS! THIS IS AMAZING! CONGRAGULATIONS!!” Eunji yelled out loudly.
People were staring at us as if we were some sort of aliens from another planet.
“Guys. I think we should calm down.” I hushed them.
“No way! This is worth being hyper for! Come on Wonbin, don’t spoil the atmosphere.” Jaejin said to me as he pulled me into a hug.
Truthfully, I couldn’t help but build a smile on my own face. I happily hugged him back.
“This is a chance of a life time.” Hongki daydreamed.
“You’re right. And we’re going to make the best of it.” Jonghoon added.
He placed his hand in the middle of our group that was now in the shape of a circle.
“Fighting!” Minwhan said as he placed his hand on top.
One by one, everyone placed their hand on top of each other.
“FIGHTING!” We yelled out.
“I’m getting hungry.” Eunji suddenly belted out.
Everyone laughed at her randomness.
“Okay. I’ll take you out to eat for tonight. Come on let’s go.” I said to her.
“You guys coming?” I asked the others.
“Nah. We’re not hungry yet. You two go ahead.” Jaejin urged us away.
“Fine. I’ll see you guys later.” I waved to them as Eunji and I headed towards the nearest restaurant.
Miyoko’s POV
“Oppa. I’m actually kind of hungry.” I admitted to Minwhan quietly.
“Let’s go eat.” He whispered back to me.
“Are you sure you guys aren’t going to eat? If not, I’m going to go eat with Miyoko.” He asked the others.
They all giggled at us.
“We don’t want to disturb you two’s little date.” Jonghoon teased us.
My face went red so quickly you’d miss it if you blinked.
“What date?” I blushed.
“Don’t worry. We’ll give you two a chance.” Hongki winked at Minwhan.
“Whatever. Don’t bother with them, let’s go eat.” Minwhan quickly dragged me out of there so I didn’t have to respond.
“Uh… O-okay.” I stuttered out as I followed him closely, afraid I’d get lost in the crowd of people.
“Don’t get lost.” He ordered as he GRABBED MY HAND.
I wouldn’t dare flinch. The feeling that was swirling inside me was fantastic.
His hand wasn’t sweaty. Instead it was warm and soft.
I liked the feeling of our hands being connected. I could feel the electricity flowing through my hand into his.
We arrived into a nearby restaurant.
Even as we took our seats, he still didn’t let my hand go.
“Op-ppa.” I pointed at our interlocked hands.
“Oh… I’m sorry.” He embarrassingly said as he let go of my hand.
My hand was turning cold once again. I wanted the warmth of Minwhan’s hand again.
“Actually. My hand is kind of cold. Is it okay if you warm it up for me?” I shyly confessed.
I actually dared to confess. If Minwhan didn’t get my way of saying I like him, he’s stupid then.
Minwhan stared at me blankly.
“You didn’t have to let go of my hand. Now it’s cold.” I pouted at him, hinting that I like him.
He gave me a beautiful smile.
“Really? I can hold onto your hand?” He asked with excitement.
I nodded my head as I smiled towards him.
He then took my hand and held it throughout the entire dinner.
I couldn’t help but smile throughout the entire time.
I really do like Minwhan. He really does like me back.
Minhee’s POV
“Well, I guess we’re here.” Jonghoon said as we arrived at the front of my house.
“Yup. I’m home.” I said as I flung my arms pointing towards my house.
We both stood there in silence for a moment.
“I guess I should go back inside.” I said as I started my way.
“Wait.” Jonghoon stopped me.
“Huh?” I asked, confused.
“I—I. There’s something I want to say to you.” He said as he scratched the back of his head.
I waited for him to continue.
“After seeing Wonbin working so hard for Eunji, I realized something. I realized that I have to cherish the people and things I love before they’re gone. So, the thing that I want to say to you is. I like you Minhee. I’ve liked you for quite a long time, but I just didn’t have the courage to admit them to you. Are you willing to accept a coward’s feelings?” He confessed full-heartedly.
I was frozen. I couldn’t believe what I just heard.
“Jonghoon. I—I don’t know what to say.” I was stunned.
He looked hurt. Oh no, I think I said the wrong thing.
“No, what I meant to say Jonghoon is. My feelings for you are exactly the same. I’ve realized that. I don’t know how and when, but feelings for you slowly crept out from under my hurt.” I told him.
“So is that a yes?” He questioned.
I nodded at him with a smile.
He beamed at me. His smile was even more powerful then his voice.
He pulled me into a hug, one that sealed our heart together.
