Eunji’s POV
“Ouch!” I blurted out as Miyoko was fixing my hair. I am not used to other people doing my hair or make-up for me.
“Stay still Eunji, we’re almost done.” Minhee ordered me.
“Alright, we’re all done.” Miyoko said as she turned me around to look at myself in the mirror.
My make-up was done, and my hair was already done. Without even putting on the dress, I was already totally different. It was like they used magical brushes on me. I never would have expected that I could look like this.
“Someone’s look gorgeous.” Minhee said out loud.
“Well, if it weren’t for two special people, I don’t know how I could have been this pretty.” I said with a smile.
Today was one of those days which I thought I looked beautiful without people telling me.
“You guys are awesome.” I said to Miyoko and Minhee as I approached them, about to give them a hug.
“Yes, we know we are awesome, but you’re going to ruin your hair if you hug us. Now, go change while we get ready.” Minhee stated.
I smiled and headed to the change room to change into my dress.
As I took out the dress that Wonbin bought for me, I smiled to myself.
“He really does know how to pick out dresses.” I said to myself as I changed out of my regular clothes and into the beautiful dress.
“Are you ready Eunji?” I heard Minhee ask me.
“Just about, can you come in and help me zip up the back?” I asked her. I wasn’t able to reach that far.
I heard the curtain open and close while I was grabbing my stuff from the ground.
“Thanks Minhee.” I said, without glancing at her.
“You look beautiful.” I heard a familiar voice say as that person zipped up my dress.
I quickly turned around to see that Wonbin was in here with me.
“Wonbin! What are you doing in here?” I asked as I covered my chest.
“You needed someone to help you with the zipper, so I came in.” He smirked.
“I said Minhee, not you.” I pouted at him.
“Well, I was too excited to see you.” He pouted back.
I couldn’t help but smile at him and snuggle close to him.
“You look beautiful.” He whispered into my ear.
“Well, you look dazzling.” I replied.
In fact, he did. He looks very handsome in a tuxedo. The black brought out his features.
“I guess we’re tonight’s spotlight.” He chuckled quietly.
I nodded as I snuggled closer to him, liking the feeling.
“Congratulations on your debut. I’m proud of you.” I told him with a kiss on the cheek.
“Thank you.” He said as he leaned in to my lips.
In a matter of seconds, we were kissing. The kiss was not forced, not awkward, just right. I like this feeling that he is giving me. It makes my stomach tingle. Even though we’ve been going out for almost a year, the feeling is still the same.
“Eunji, are you re—“ Someone interrupted us.
I quickly pulled my lips away from Wonbin’s, not that I wanted to.
“My bad, I’m sorry.” A blushing Miyoko said.
I bowed my head down so that no one could see the redness in my cheeks.
“Is it time for the party to start?” Wonbin asked.
“Yes it is.” Miyoko replied.
“I’m going to get prepared. I’ll look for you later on.” Wonbin gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving me.
“Looks like someone got a little treat before the party even started.” Miyoko winked at me.
“Let’s go. I’m sure the others are waiting for us.” I said as I switched the topic.
I heard Miyoko giggle as I pulled her out into the ball room.
“By the way, you’re looking very pretty tonight.” She said with a smile.
“You’re looking very nice yourself. I’m sure Minwhan will be drooling over you.” I teased her.
She did look very nice tonight. The Miyoko that was always so immature was gone. She was replaced with a mature looking girl. Her hair up in a messy bun, make-up that wasn’t too much nor too little, and a cute little dress to finish her look.
“Look at Minhee.” Miyoko pointed to a girl in a gorgeous white strapless dress. She was in the middle of a bunch of men.
“Excuse me gentlemen, but I have someone to say hello to.” We heard her excuse herself as she walked over to where we were.
“Minhee, you look so beautiful!” I gushed at her.
She did. Her hair was in half a ponytail with bits of it hanging down in curls. Her eyes were smoky, and her skin was pale and perfect. Her dress was even more exquisite. Though it was white, it was beautiful. The strapless dress was the thing that completed her look.
“Well, you two are looking great too. Especially you Eunji. I’d never imagine you like this. This is totally not your style.” Minhee said as she pointed to my dress.
“Wonbin’s the one that bought it for me!” I pouted.
“He sure has great taste.” Miyoko smiled.
“Look, there’s Joseph.” Minhee pointed to a guy dressed in a white suit. Far away, I couldn’t recognize him, but as he walked closer, it really was Joseph.
“Eunji.” He greeted me with a smile.
“Joseph. You’re looking great.” I complimented him.
“Why thank you. With this tux, I’m getting lots of compliments from girls.” He winked.
“Thank you for clearing things out with Wonbin.” I hugged him.
“Not a problem. Plus, I got to meet someone special. I think she’s just as great as you are Eunji.” He whispered.
“Oppa!” I heard another voice.
A little girl not much younger then I was came running towards us. She was wearing a blue silky dress. Her hair was straight and was shoulder length. I recognized her to be Rijin.
“There you are Rijin, I was looking for you.” Joseph said as he smiled at Rijin.
I gave Joseph a ‘that special someone must be her’ look. He replied with a smile and a nod.
“You two know each other?” Miyoko asked.
“We met this morning.” Rijin smiled.
Then she turned her attention to me.
“You must be Eunji Unnie.” She smiled.
I nodded at her. This was the first time that I was officially talking to Rijin.
“Wonbin oppa is always talking about you. He also said you’re really pretty, but I never thought that you were this pretty.” She smiled even bigger, showing her perfect white teeth.
I blushed at her comment. I never knew Wonbin told her sister about me.
“You’re really pretty too.” I told her with a sweet smile.
“Thank you!” She said.
“Alright everybody, let’s welcome tonight’s stars!” The host suddenly said into the speaker, capturing everyone’s attention to the front stage.
Five men in black tuxedos walked out, looking as handsome as ever.
Everyone in the audience started to applause and whistle. I could see the five guy’s faces turning happier by the minute.
“Thank you everyone for coming. We appreciate all your support. I hope you’ll continue to support us in the future. Please have fun and enjoy yourselves tonight.” Jonghyun announced to everyone. Then each of them walked down to the dance floor.
The band that was on the stage started to play a slow song.
“May I have this dance Miss. Seo?” Wonbin approached me with his hand held out for me.
I smiled and held onto his hand. The two of us started to dance in each other’s arms. I had my head placed on his shoulder, in a perfect position.
“Looks like your sister and my best friends are getting along pretty well.” I whispered to Wonbin. I saw Joseph and Rijin dancing together. They seemed so peaceful with each other. I wish Joseph the best of luck with Rijin.
“Well, I trust Joseph. He’s a good guy. I’m glad if he’s going after my sister. That means he won’t be bothering you.” He chuckled into my ear.
“Hey, I promised you that nothing will ever come between us, and I mean it.” I pouted.
“May I have a dance with Eunji?” Jaejin suddenly appeared beside me.
“Don’t be too long.” Wonbin said before he gave my hand to Jaejin.
“Eunji, you look amazing tonight.” He complimented me.
“Thank you. You look just as amazing yourself.” I replied.
“Look at Miyoko and Minhee. They look like they are in love.” I laughed as I looked at my best friends dancing with their own other half.
Miyoko and Minwhan looked so cute. They were both so young, but they love each other a lot. Minhee and Jonghyun were the mature couples. I snuck a peek at Hongki. He was now dancing with Wonbin. I had to laugh at that couple.
“I wish you the best of luck in the future Oppa.” I wished to Jaejin as we continued to dance.
“Thank you. We’ll be as big as DBSK one day.” He smiled beside my ear.
“You will. And I’ll be in the audience cheering you guys on. Work hard Oppa.” I encouraged him.
“May I have my girlfriend back yet?” Wonbin chuckled as he appeared in front of us.
Jaejin laughed before handing me back to Wonbin.
“I wish this time could just pause for a life time.” Wonbin whispered into my ear as we dance slowly to the beat of the music. I really was enjoying myself.
“I’ll be with you for a lifetime. Don’t you worry. Even if you don’t want me, I’ll still be around to support you guys.” I assured him.
“Why wouldn’t I want you around? You’re the best thing in my life. You’re the only reason that we are in this spot right now.” He wrapped his arms around me tighter.
“I love you Wonbin.” I suddenly said to him, face turning red.
“I love you too Eunji.” He smiled back, brightly as he leaned down towards me.
Moving to Korea was a great thing that happened to me. Being with Wonbin was even better. I’ll always stay by his side and give him support. Forever and always.
