SweetButSour: Yeaah. I try to update as much as I can before school starts. Because then, I'm afraid that I won't be able to have enough time to update as often T_T. Hahah, there might be something between them, wait and see. ;)

Eunji’s POV
“Honey wake up! You’re going to be late for school!” I heard my mom’s voice.
“One more minute mom!” I pleaded her as I pulled the cover sheets over my head.
“Eunji, if you want to go back to Canada during the holidays, you better get up and go to school.” My mom threatened me.
That woke me up instantly.
“Okay I’m up. I’m up!” I yelled as I stood up quickly.
I suddenly heard a thud. I looked down to see my mom on the floor. I quickly bent down to help her get up.
“Mom, I’m so sorry, are you okay?” I asked her worriedly.
“Yeah. I’m fine. You just scared me. You stood up a bit too fast for me to handle.” She explained.
“I’m sorry mom.” I said as I hugged her.
“I’m alright. You better hurry and get ready.” My mom urged me.
I nodded as I got up and scurried to the washroom.
Moments later, I was ready. I grabbed a piece of toast and a juice box and finished them in the car on the way to school.
Entering the classroom, I was greeted by Miyoko.
“Good morning Eunji!” She cheerfully said.
“Morning Miyoko.” I replied.
I looked around the classroom to see if any of the guys were here yet, but it seemed that none of them was at school yet.
“Looking for someone?” She asked me as if she could read my mind.
“What do you mean?” I blinked.
“Don’t try to hide things. I saw how you and Jaejin were interacting with each other yesterday.” She teased.
“There was no difference when I talked with you and the others.” I stated.
“Whatever you say Unnie.” She said with a wink.
What is wrong with that girl? There’s nothing between me and Jaejin is there?
Just as I was about to argue back, someone interrupted me.
“You’re Eunji right?” An unfamiliar girl asked me.
I nodded my head.
“I’m Kim Minhee. Nice to meet you.” She said coolly.
“Nice to meet you too.” I said back.
“It’s cool that you came from Canada. I’m from the States.” She told me.
“Really? The your English must be fluent.” I said in English happily.
“Of course. Living in the states most of my life gave me the advantage of having a second language.” She explained with a little smile.
“That’s great! Now the three of us can talk in English together.” I squealed at both Minhee and Miyoko.
Miyoko smiled while Minhee nodded her head.
I took a second glance at Minhee. She was actually really pretty. She didn’t have pale skin like Miyoko, instead she had tanned skin. Her eyes were big and puppy like. She had nice full lips. Overall, she had a typical baby face.
Just as I was about to ask Minhee which part of the States was she from, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see Jaejin.
“Oppa.” I smiled.
“Good morning Eunji.” He said with a smile.
I greeted the rest of the guys except for Wonbin, because it seemed like he was trying to avoid me. Then I went back to chatting with Minhee.
I was just about to ask Miyoko a question but when I turned around, she was already busy chatting with Minwhan.
I smiled as I just stared at them. They looked cute together.
“What are you staring at?” The grumpy statue beside me asked.
I pointed at Minwhan and Miyoko.
“It looks like they’re having lots of fun together. Didn’t you notice how they were talking to each other the entire time yesterday?” I pointed out to him.
I stared at him. His face was now examining the couple.
He looked serious but handsome at the same time. If he wasn’t so grumpy and being a jerk all the time, you can actually like this guy.
“What are you staring at?” He suddenly looked at me.
I was surprised by his sudden question.
“I-I-I wasn’t s-staring at y-you.” I stuttered out.
I guess I wasn’t a good liar.
“I know I’m good looking. But don’t stare at me like that. It scares me. Especially when the person who is checking me out is ugly like you.” She raised his voice a bit.
“What’d you say?! What gives you the right to say that about me?” I questioned him loudly, making everyone stare at us.
“Look at yourself! You think you’re good looking? I wouldn’t say so if I were you.” He chuckled.
This guy who I just met three days ago is treating me like garbage.
My face went red, but I didn’t say anything. Instead, I calmed myself down and sat down.
‘I’m not going to get worked up over this jerk.’ I thought as I sat down.
“Eunji, are you okay? Don’t take his words seriously.” Hongki said to me.
“Yeah, he’s just being grumpy because he didn’t get enough sleep.” Jonghoon added.
“I’m fine.” I plainly answered.
Soon, the teacher came in. Everyone went back to their seats.
I turned around a bit so I wouldn’t have to see Wonbin’s face.
A couple minutes into the lesson, Jaejin passes a note to me.
‘Are you okay?’ It read.
‘Yeah. I’m fine.’ I wrote back.
To be honest, his words didn’t harm me that bad. I don’t care what he tells me. He hates me anyways, so there’s no point believe what he says.
‘How about I treat you to dinner tonight?’ Jaejin wrote back.
Dinner? With Jaejin?
‘Just me and you?’ I asked him.
‘If you want we can get the other guys too.’ He wrote back a little longer then before.
‘Sure’ I wrote. I even added a little smile.
He glanced at me and smiled before going back to paying attention to the teacher.
‘His smile is so cute.’ I thought in my head.
I wouldn’t dare look at Wonbin again, not after how he yelled at me in front of the entire class.
After class ended, Jaejin got everyone in a group. I dragged Minhee into it too.
“So, let’s go out for dinner tonight.” He suggested.
“Sounds good to me.” Jonghoon and the other guys agreed. Wonbin said nothing but nodded.
“I guess so.” Miyoko agreed.
I stared at Minhee.
“What about you Minhee? You’re coming right?” I asked her.
She hesitated for a couple seconds but finally nodded her head with a smile.
We all walked together to the nearest restaurant. I was walking and talking with Jaejin. Miyoko was talking with Minwhan, Hongki was walking alongside with Wonbin. As for Jonghoon, he seemed to be interested in Minhee. I could see those two laughing and chatting non-stop.
“Good Evening, how many?” asked a nice looking lady.
“Eight please.” I tell her.
She leads us into a big room, kind of like a VIP room. We all take seats in the following order. Me, Jaejin, Hongki, Wonbin, Jonghoon, Minhee, Minhwan, and Miyoko.
“What do you want to eat?” Jaejin asks me as he hands me a menu.
“I’m up for anything.” I tell him with a smile.
Everyone soon ordered the plate of their liking. As we waited for the food, we talked about our lives.
I found out that Minhee has an older brother that lives in Virgina. While Miyoko has an older sister that lives in Tokyo.
The dinner was served. Everyone ate happily. Even Wonbin seemed to loosen up and chat along with the others. But he wouldn’t dare glance at me. I also wouldn’t dare glance at him. I didn’t want to be called ugly again.
The entire night was fun and relaxing. But it all ended too soon.
“I’ll see you guys tomorrow!” I waved at the rest of the group as I climbed into Jaejin’s car. He had offered to drop me off again.
Moments later, we were back at my house.
“Thanks Oppa.” I said as I was about to climb out.
“Eunji. Don’t take Wonbin’s word seriously. He’s usually not like that.” He told me.
“Don’t worry. I’ve already forgotten about it.” I told him.
I shut the door and waved at him before entering my house and turning in for the night.
