Eunji’s POV
This place, I’ve never seen it before in my entire life. I walked down the narrow road in the darkness all by myself. I was getting goose bumps because I hated being alone in the dark.
As I follow the muddy trail, I desperately wanted to get out of here.
Then, I could hear crows screeching from above my head. I tilted my head to wonder what was up.
The crows seemed to be attracted to me. They wouldn’t stop following me. Their eerie noises made me walk even faster, hoping to find a way out. But the crows still followed close above me, not leaving me for one second.
“Get away from me!” I scream at them flinging my arms everywhere to get rid of them.
“Caw Caw Caw!” I heard them reply.
“Get away from me I said!” I yelled.
But they didn’t go away. Instead, they flew in closer, pecking at my flesh.
“Oww!” I scream out in pain as they pecked me.
I flung my arms everywhere, trying to get rid of them. But it was no use; the more I flung my arms, the more crows it attracted.
“Somebody! Save me!” I yelled desperately, hoping my voice could be heard, hoping there was actually someone who could save me.
Then! I heard someone shooting out arrows towards me.
Smack! One of the arrows hit a crow. The more and more arrows started aiming my way. But none of them hurt me. They all were aimed expertly at the crows.
Soon, all the crows were lying dead on the ground. Then I felt someone towering over me. I looked up to see the person that saved me was none other than Wonbin.
“Wonbin?!” I screamed.
He smiled at me as he lifted me up bridal style. He looked right into my eyes and leaned in closer. Inching closer and closer as seconds tick by.
‘This is it. I’m going to get my first kiss.’ I thought.
THEN!
“Honey, wake up. Time for school.” I heard my mom waking me up.
I slowly opened up my eyes to see my bedroom instead of the forest. I saw my mom instead of Wonbin.
“Hurry up and get ready.” My mom said as she left the room.
“It was all a dream?” I wondered.
But why was Wonbin in my dream? We almost kissed! Oh no…
Why am I always thinking about Wonbin these days?!
“Arrggggg!” I scream in frustration as I got up to use the washroom.
-----At School-----
“Wow, why do you look so out of it today?” Miyoko asked me once I flopped down on my desk.
I wanted to tell her about my dream with the part about Wonbin being in it, but decided against it.
“I had a nightmare last night. I couldn’t sleep peacefully.” I groaned as I told her.
“Really? I had a very pleasant night.” She said with a smile.
“Lucky you.” I said as I rolled my eyes and put my head down, hoping I could get a couple minutes of sleep before the teacher decided to start today’s lesson.
I suddenly felt someone tap on my head. An exhausted me raise my head to see who it was. I saw that it was actually Jaejin.
“Oppa.” I said quietly.
“Eunji. Why are you so down?” He asked me.
“Bad dreams last night.” I told him honestly.
“You should drink some milk before going to bed. It’ll help you.” He said as he patted my head.
“Okay. Thanks for the suggestion Oppa.” I said as I smiled up at him.
That’s when Wonbin walks into the room. I noticed that he’s looking at my way. I quickly turned my head around so that I couldn’t see him and he couldn’t see my blushing. I was still thinking of how he rescued me in my dreams.
“Good morning.” He said as he sat down beside me.
“Morning.” I replied back coolly.
“Why is your face so red?” He said as he placed his hand on my forehead.
I quickly backed up, surprised by his actions.
“It’s hot in here?” I found a lame excuse.
“Then take off your jacket if you’re hot. Idiot.” He said.
I nodded as I took off my jacket. I was glad he fell for my lame excuse.
Why am I blushing because of him? I hate him remember?
I smacked myself in the head trying to forget that Wonbin is being nice to me. Trying to get him out of my head.
“Why are you hitting yourself? Have you gone mad?” He asked me as he grabbed my arm just as I was about to hit myself again.
He was touching my bare arm. I could feel the spot where he is touching burn up.
“Are you having a fever? It feels like you’re burning.” He said as he touched my cheeks.
Before I was able to answer him back, the teacher came in which signaled that it was time for class to start.
I bent down to get my books so that I could release the feeling of him touching my cheeks.
Just as I was bending down, I tilted my chair a bit too much, sooner then I knew it, I was starting to tip over.
I covered my eyes as I felt my body swaying onto one side. Just when I thought I was going to hit the ground, I felt someone grabbing hold of my waist.
Then, we were both on the ground. He was wrapping his arms around me.
I opened up my eyes to see Wonbin right in my face.
I felt my face heat up. I quickly stood up and straightened myself.
I looked around the classroom to see that EVERY single pair of eyes were staring at me, with mouths shaped in a ‘O’.
“Eunji, are you okay?” Jaejin asked, snapping me back to reality.
“uh… umm… yeah… I think so.” I mumbled as Wonbin got up from the ground. His face was just as red as mine.
“I’ll take you to the nurse’s office just to get it checked out.” Jaejin worriedly sad as he grabbed my wrist and started to drag me out of the classroom.
But I was all right. I didn’t get hurt. It was Wonbin who I was worried off. He hit the ground pretty hard, and I was the one that fell on top of him.
I couldn’t believe he saved me like that.
As Jaejin was pulling me towards the nurse’s office, I thought back the way he looked into my eyes.
The weird part is why isn’t my face beating red or skin burning from Jaejin’s touch. Why is it only Wonbin’s touch that makes me crazy?
“Oppa, I’m okay. I don’t need to go see the nurse.” I told him.
He ignored me as he continued leading me to the nurse’s office.
“Hello Ms. Kim. Eunji here fell off the chair, I just wanted to make sure that she’s not hurt or anything. Can you help me take a look at her?” Jaejin urgently asked Ms. Kim, the nurse.
“Of course. Would you mind just sitting here Eunji shi?” Ms. Kim asked, friendly.
I nodded and sat down on the bed, letting her check for any signs of damage on me.
“Well, it looks like you are fine. Not hurt whatsoever.” Ms. Kim said moments after.
“Thank you Ms. Kim.” I smiled weakly at her.
“Not a problem. Take care.” She said as Jaejin and I walked back out of the office.
“Are you really alright Eunji shi?” Jaejin asked me once we were in the hall way again.
“Oppa. I’m really okay. Don’t worry about me.” I told him.
He nodded and calmed down a bit before entering the classroom.
I slowly walked back to my seat, but of course, walking with one of the most popular guys in the school, and being saved by another, I got death glares from most of the girls in the class.
The teacher gave me a smile before returning back to the board and continuing writing whatever she was writing.
Wonbin was already sitting back down, concentrating at the lesson. But once I sat down beside him, he passed me a note.
“Are you okay?” it said.
“Yeah. Don’t worry about it. But are you alright? You took the fall for me.” I wrote back.
“Don’t worry. I’m a man, I’m strong.” He wrote back.
I smiled at him before returning to the board.
What was this new feeling I’m getting? I’m actually worried about Wonbin. But Jaejin seems like he’s really worried about me.
No way. Could I be falling for Wonbin?! No, it can’t be. I hate him. Why would I like him? Shouldn’t I be falling for Jaejin instead? He treats me so nicely.
I was day dreaming the entire time the teacher was teaching the lesson. I paid no attention to her. I guess I would have to get the notes from Miyoko later on.
“Eunji! Class is over.” Minhee said as he waved her hand in front of my face.
I snapped back to reality.
“Huh? Oh right.” I dazedly said as I got up from my seat.
“Are you alright Eunji? You seem so out of it today.” Miyoko appeared by my side studying my face.
“Yes Miyoko. I’m alright. Probably just tired.” I told her.
“Then you should just go home and get some rest.” She said as the guys came around us.
“You’re right. I guess I’ll go home to rest today. I’ll see you guys later.” I waved bye to everyone as I started my way towards the door.
Before I left the classroom, I caught a glimpse of Wonbin. His face looked worried.
I shook his face out of my head as I continued my way out the front gates.
Just as I was turning the corner of the school's street, someone grabbed me from the back and pushed me into the brick wall.
Wonbin's POV
I can't believe I saved her earlier. I'm glad that she's safe now. But sometime in my mind told me that I should save her.
She looked really tired today. But I'm worried that she's too tired to get home herself.
"Hey guys, I'm going to go home too. I'll catch you guys later." I waved as I walked out of the classroom.
Just as I walked out of the school gates, I heard someone yelling.
"Ow! What the hell?!" yelled a familiar voice.
My legs had a mind of their own. They started to run faster and faster.

How was it? I dont think it's much of a cliffhanger, but I'll try my best to update soon.
