Kiss Away the Rain
PLOT:
AJ was hired by her uncle who has a company at Korea. She took the chance and went immediately there. She worked hard to make her uncle, her father and her mother proud of her. But the longer she stays in Korea, the uglier her life turns in to everyday. She experiences unfortunate events which cause her to feel weaker every minute that passes by. In an unexpected happening, she met Jaejoong, a rich and handsome guy who used to be happy but turns out to be a sad guy because of painful events. He stayed with AJ for three days which caused something to happen between them due to the sadness and anger they feel that time. Later on, AJ got pregnant and brought Jaejoong’s child which she named Jaerin [J as the same first letter of her father]. For a short while, she kept this from Jaejoong but he eventually found out and started to live with them...
Main Characters:
Park AJ
She is a half Korean and half Filipino girl who was born in Korea and grew up in Philippines. She was hired by her uncle who has a company at Korea. She’s pretty and intelligent. She’s optimistic most of the time and she always think of others first before herself. When she set foot on Korea, most of her time was spent on working. And as time passes by, all that happens to her are unfortunate events. She became a little pessimistic and always cries almost every day.
Kim Jaejoong
Jaejoong is a rich and handsome guy with girly features. He sometimes acts cold-hearted and spoiled. He’s lazy and he doesn’t want to work even though his bestfriend would always encourage him to. He has been into many relationships but all ends up being broken. He believes that girls just like him because of his riches and looks. He would always sit in one chair. If not sleeping, he would be drinking. He’s not a drinker back then, but he became one when bad things kept happening to him.
Other characters:
Kim Junsu- Jaejoong’s bestfriend in the story. He’s a business minded person and would do anything to make his father’s company earn more money, as his father’s last wish to him before he died. He’s sneaky, playful and a cheerful guy. He likes to sing and once wanted to be a singer… but his father’s wish drove him to be a business man.
Choi Nissa- she’s another Filipino who lives at Korea because her father works there. She’s Junsu’s girlfriend [xD]. She loves being happy and she always smiles even though she haves problems. She’s a kid at heart and she hates people who are always crying. She’s always beside Junsu and she would make Jaejoong smile when Jaejoong haves problems.
Lee Mariko- she’s the owner of the apartment in which AJ is living. She became a good friend to AJ for she was one year older than her. She treats her as someone not just a renter but as a friend. She’s always ready to give AJ a helping hand. Sometimes, she’s boastful.
Lee So Eun- Mariko’s cousin. She became good friends also with AJ. She’s the same age as AJ and she loves being happy and playful. She loves smiling and she would always make AJ smile. She never thinks of negative things for she believes it would just give bad luck to someone.
Song Yuban- the old man who’s always drinking at Im Han Apartment [pronounced as Eem-Han]. He’s forty three years old and he loves staying at the café because of the air con. He loves kids and he’s always ready to help anyone with his gadgets.
