"What's up?" she asked as she entered quietly.
"I'm okay. How about you?" I asked her back.
"Same." she smiled at me and stood beside me. "So.. how's your first sleep here?" she asked as we both looked outside.
"It's fine... the same in Korea..." I answered.
"How about... Jaerin?" she looked at Jaerin.
"I think she's fine also... she's not complaining." I answered.
"AJ... why are you keeping that thing from her?" mom suddenly asked.
"Huh?" I cleared.
"Jaejoong..." she replied.
"Oh... Jaejoong..." I uttered as I looked down.
"She doesn't know anything about Jaejoong, right?" mom asked me.
"Yeah..." I answered, guilty.
Mom looked at me with a disappointed look. Her arms were crossed and it seems like she was glaring at me.
"What's with that look?" I asked.
"Why are you doing this to her?" she ignored my question.
"Mom, let's talk outside." I suggested.
"No." she blurted.
"Mom." I called.
"Tell me, why are hiding her from Jaejoong?" mom asked seriously.
"Because it's the way it was meant to be." I answered.
"Stupid." she whacked my head.
"Ow!" I winced. "What did you do that for?" I cried as I held my head.
"How come you can take this thing? You can take seeing your daughter grow up without her father?" she asked angrily.
"Mom, you might..."
"Mom, what's happening?" Jaerin asked as she rubs her eyes.
"...wake her up." I continued.
Jaerin stood up and went to the bathroom.
"You're lucky your daughter is not looking for her father... if by chance she was like the other kids there... I don't know what you'll do." my mom said and left the room.
Great. Now, I think she's mad at me. What? Just because of that matter? I looked at the bathroom door as I hear Jaerin's noises. I'm still... not strong enough to tell her everything about her father...
Jaerin went out and walked towards me. She hugged my knees. "Good morning, mom." she greeted.
"Morning, Jaerin." I kissed her forehead for seconds.
"Mom, what's the matter? Did you argue with mommy this morning?" she asked.
"Nope... she just told me something. Jae, come on, let's go down. We still need to go out early so you'll see your school." I said.
I held her hand and we went out from the room.
JAEJOONG's P.O.V.||
I stretched my arms as I yawned. The sun was shining straight to my eyes and it made me wake up. That old man suddenly entered my mind as I stood up. Thanks to him I had to sleep in this irritating couch. My back and neck hurts. As I walked towards the window, someone knocked at the door. I turned around and a girl entered and bowed.
"Good morning, Mr. Kim Jaejoong." she greeted as she straightened her back.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Mina, Mr. John's niece." she answered.
"Are you a secretary here also?" I asked.
"Yeah." she answered. "I'll be the one to take care of your schedules." she added.
"I see... now what?" I asked coldly.
"You need to get ready, Mr. Kim. You'll be having a meeting wherein you'll introduce yourself." she replied.
"What? As in NOW?" I exclaimed.
"Yes, sir." she answered politely.
"Damn! Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I asked angrily.
"Because you need to be responsible enough, Mr. Kim." she replied.
"Ohh fine." I rolled my eyes. "What time?" I asked.
"At exactly eleven in the morning." she replied.
I looked at a clock hanging near the door. "TEN!" I shouted. "Damn!" I exclaimed.
"Are there not bathroom here?" I panicked.
"Your bathroom is located there." she pointed at a green door. "Only you can enter that room." she added.
"Ok! Leave." I said. Then, I went to the room she pointed earlier.
It was a private room, only for me. There were three rooms; the first one having a gray door was for entertainments purposes. There was a 21 flat inch screen TV and a karaoke bar. The second room having an orange door was a room for taking a rest. There was a one-person bed, a couch and a small radio. The third room having a yellow door might be the bathroom. I opened the door and saw exactly what a bathroom has inside it. I entered and looked at the bath tub; there was also a section for the shower, a toilet bowl and a faucet. There was a cabinet and as I opened it, there were things inside that a man uses everyday... toothpaste, toothbrush, perfume, hair gel and so on...
"Wow! Is this some kind of my home now?" I exclaimed as I took the perfume out. I opened the cap and it really smells good! It suits my handsome face!
Next was, I remembered I have to be ready at eleven... I took off my clothes and opened the shower. Wow... it's so refreshing...
When I was done, I looked at the cabinet at the room with the orange door. Wow, it was like... complete! There were everything there... casual wears, stylish clothes, new jeans, formal tux! It was like; I'm the richest person in the whole world. I tried the black tux with red sleeves and it looks perfect on me. I went out the room and stood near the window. It was fifteen minutes before eleven already. As I stood there, someone knocked and entered. It was that same old irritating man.
"You have to go to the meeting room now, Mr. Kim." he bowed.
I followed him and we walked almost seven or eight doors away from my office. We stopped at a black colored door and he entered without knocking. It was cold there... as I entered, it was dark but lighted by the light coming from the projector of the computer.
"You'll be sitting here." Mr. John said as he pointed at the unique chair. It has a high back. "And whenever you'll be having your presentations, you'll be using this white laptop. This laptop is only for you for the other guests will use their own laptop. You have to set a security code so no one can open it except you." he stated.
I want in front the laptop and immediately did what he has told me. *9095* I typed in those numbers as my security code. Then, I sat down at the chair and it was very comfy.
"Company owners will arrive in a minute." he said as he stood beside me.
