That morning, I sent Jaerin to her school. Well, I always do, I always bring her to school before I go to work. Her school was not that big but there are a lot of students there. Pre-schoolers, elementaries and high schools, they all walked inside their school campus.
"Bye, mom!" Jaerin kissed my cheek.
"Bye, Jae... don't forget huh, you'll wait for me here." I reminded.
"Yes mama!" she nodded and ran towards her classmates who called and waved at her. For the last time, she turned around and waved saying good bye.
I waved back saying "Byebye." with a smile. When she was inside the school building already, I went away and took the taxi.
I was at the front seat, beside the driver. It was traffic but not that much. As I looked outside, the taxi passed by a black and tall building. Well, I would always pass by there whenever I go to work. It was that company thingy which name was Choi something... if I'm not mistaken, it's Choi Motors.
"What a weird name..." I said as I stiffly looked at the company's name.
"They're one of the richest people here at Japan." the driver smirked.
"Really?" I asked as I looked behind... "It sounds like Nissa though..." I uttered.
"So... you're from Korea, right?" the man asked. He's not that old but... he's got some winkles now.
"Yeah... well, not originally from Korea... I really live at Philippines." I answered as I looked in front.
"I see... and why are you here?" he asked.
"Uhm, to work...?" I replied with a smile.
"Ohh... your parents are so lucky to have you." he said.
"Not really." I smirked.
"We're here." the car stopped in front of a gray building. Not that tall...
"Thanks." I said and gave the payment. It was exact for the fare but he gave me a little exchange.
"Mister, it's exact." I said as I took it.
"Heheeh... for you, I lowered the fare." he smiled.
"Oh really? Why, thanks!" I thankfully said.
"Its nothing." he answered.
"Well then, thanks, mister. I'll get down now." I opened the door and went out.
As I walked my way to the elevator, each people I would meet or each people that would see me, would greet me. Yeah, it's fun working in such a cheerful and nice company with approachable and warm smiling people. When I reached the elevator, I pushed the button and in a minute, the door opened.
"Good morning, AJ." Sheila greeted me. She was the elevator lady there.
"Good morning!" I greeted back with a smile at her.
"How's Jaerin?" she asked. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I brought Jaerin here for once and they really liked her attitude.
"Hmm, she's fine... in school, in food... in everything." I answered.
"I see... that's good to hear." she stated as the door opened. "Well then, see you later!" she said.
"See you later!" I replied as I went out. I headed straight to mom's office. As I went in, I saw a man sitting at the couch. I bowed as I passed by him.
"Excuse me, are you Mrs. Park's daughter, AJ?" he asked.
"Uhm, yes, sir. Do you need something from me?" I replied.
"Oh nothing. I just asked it. Thanks." he answered.
"Oh... okay then. I'll leave you here." I said politely and went to my room.
Mom went out from her own room and was bringing something. A long brown envelope... not that thick but I think there are a lot of papers inside. I peeked at the door and eavesdropped on their conversation.
"So... this is all they want?" the man asked.
"Yeah." mom nodded as she answered.
I think it has something to do about their project with that company... no, I don't know what company yet... but base from what I have heard... it has something to do with motors or machines.
"What is he going to do?" the man asked.
"I do not know yet. In fact, I still haven't met their new president." my mom answered.
"What?" the man stood up. "Rina, I think you're not doing your jobs recently." he blamed.
"Yamato, I am DOING my job. Their new president did not attend the planned meeting." my mom defended.
"I see... I guess he's not as responsible as Mr. Choi have been." the man cooled down.
"Do you know his name?" my mom asked.
"Naah. Not yet, still haven't heard of him. He does not go out from his office, as his secretaries say." the man replied.
"Haayy..." my mom sighed.
"You know what? Sometimes I wish Mr. Choi never chose to manage his Singaporean Branch." the man said as he walked towards the window.
"Why?" mom asked.
"Well, for a man as sensitive as me... I've dreamt of Choi Motors Japanese Branch having an irresponsible president. And this is it." he answered.
Mom chuckled. "Yamato... he hasn't proved anything yet. Why don't you wait?" my mom suggested.
"We'll be waiting for nothing then." he chuckled.
"Come on... there's nothing wrong with waiting. No one knows, he might change the way Choi Motors JB looks here." mom said.
Suddenly, someone entered the room. It was the girl next to me... to my position.
"Mrs. Park, Mr. Matsunaga needs you at his office." it was the other executive producer... lower than mom's position though.
"Okay." mom smiled at her. The girl then left. "So... I'll be leaving now... Jun needs me." mom said to Yamato.
"Okay. I'll be leaving soon too." he said. Then, they both went out from the room.
I went out from the room as I watched the guy close the door. "New... president?" I uttered as I placed my hands below my chin. "I wonder who that new president is..." I added.
JAEJOONG's P.O.V.||
I was sitting down at my comfy couch, facing the window.
"Aissh, my back really hurts." I complained. "I'm starting to hate this job... no--- I hate this job already. It kills me." I grumped as I stood up and went near the window, touching the curtains. I wasn't even able to meet someone because of my painful back." I groaned. "I hate this job. It eats my time and it drains my energy." I cried.
"Why don't you resign, then?" a man came from behind. It was that familiar voice...
"John... old irritating man." I whispered the last three words.
"If you're tired and you'll keep complaining, better stay out from this job as early as possible." he continued as he placed something at my desk.
I went back to my seat and ignored his stupid suggestion. "What's this?" I took the envelope.
"A list of your schedules, Mr. Kim." he replied.
"Damn, schedules again. I hate to see one." I groaned.
"And why are you looking then?" he asked sarcastically, yet stiffly.
"Don't mind me, Mr. John." I'm serious, I can't believe it!
"Okay, fine. I'll leave now." he bowed and went out.
I'm telling you, whenever he'll leave my room, I would love to jump in happiness. I really hate seeing that old irritation almost bald headed MANster. Jeez, why did Mr. Choi choose that old bug to be my head secretary? He's got no idea in choosing good secretaries. Secretaries should be burning hot and sexy. Right... so their bosses won't be having a hard time and a lazy nature in doing their stuffs. Oh yeah.
I opened the envelope and looked at the list. Five meetings in one day. Five different places... ugghhh, it's drying my mind. I sighed as I put the paper back inside the envelope. Why does my life have to be this complicated? First... I have a demanding yet, lovely noona... then that Junsu kamo butt... this company and last... why would AJ stay away from me? It makes me think that... I'm a bad guy for loving her so much...
