Jaejoong, that morning, called me... he wants to meet with me at the place where Jaerin loves to hang around, Banzai Circle... I seated lazily at the taxi chair. I looked outside. Where would I go now?
"Ne, where am I going to bring you?" the taxi driver asked politely.
I don't know where either... "Uhm, please bring me to Banzai Circle." I replied and he nodded. I looked at my watch and it's just nine in the morning... what would I do there? Watch those couples displaying their affection in the public?
"Ne, something wrong?" the driver asked me, seeing my situation, scratching my head and sighing.
"H-huh? Uhm... no, it's nothing... I'm okay." I smiled and thanked.
"You looked really stressed, miss." he said, looking at the road. "Are you that busy in work?" he asked.
"Uhm... yeah, somehow." I replied. "But' it's more of a personal problem... not work." I replied.
"I see..." he said and smiled.
Silence.
"We're here." he spoke, after twenty three minutes... thanks watch!
"Here's my payment. Keep the change!" I smiled and went down.
He thanked me and started driving the car again.
"Nine forty three..." I uttered, looking at my watch again. "Three more hours to go..." I added then walked. I decided to go inside the mall next to the Circle. Sitting around there for three plus hours would be really tiring so I decided to go window shopping. The mall was full of people already, the stores were really colorful and the others were starting to decorate their windows... Christmas... it's really soon... I wonder what Jaerin's wish is...
JAEJOONG's p.o.v.
I was eating popcorn, watching another movie when I heard the door outside opened.
"Thanks." a familiar male voice spoke.
"He's probably inside, watching movie." my secretary, Sheila said.
"Okay." the man said and then the door closed.
I heard footsteps coming and just as I looked behind, it was Siwon.
"Siwon!" I stood up and gave him a tap on both shoulders. "It's been a while, ne?" I asked.
"Yeah, you did not change... Jae... you're still the same gorgeous man." he smirked.
"Well." I am really proud of my good looks. Who would not be, anyway? "So, what brought you here?" I asked. "Come, sit down."
"Thanks." he sat down next to me as we faced the flat screen. "Well, I've known something about you... which... I never thought would happen!" he sounded happy.
"What do you mean?" I asked him.
"Well... if I tell you something about... AJ... would you be happy?" he replied.
"AJ? What do you know about her?" I asked him.
"Well, we work at the same company, remember?"
"Oh, yeah... I almost forgot! Now, now, what about her?" I asked Siwon.
"Uhm... nothing." he laughed. "By the way, have you seen each other already?" he asked.
"Uhm.. yeah, actually... I asked to meet with her after lunch." I replied.
"So... why don't you bring your... daughter with you and tell AJ you know her super duper deep secret already?" Siwon asked.
I was struck... What? Siwon knows about me and AJ? Moreover... he knows about my daughter?!
"S-Siwon... where did you get that?" I asked him, completely forgetting my favorite scene from the movie.
"Well... she told me everything... and I can tell that she wants to tell it to you already... but, she's somehow hesitating to." Siwon replied, looking at the tv.
"AJ..." I uttered. "Siwon, thanks, you gave me an idea. I wish it would make AJ feel lighter once she found out I know Jaerin already..." I said.
Immediately, after Siwon has left, I went away. I told my secretary that I would go somewhere... by that time, it was already twelve thirty. I went straight to my car and drove along the road, going to Kangta School. Jaerin, daddy's coming.
Twenty minutes passed and I arrived at the school. As expected, kids were running everywhere, it's time to go home. I went inside and asked if Jaerin is still there and they told me where I could see her... at the music room. This child got my voice! I slowly walked towards the door and I could hear a voice of an angel... could it be... Jaerin? I opened the door and there she was, singing beside a girl who was playing the piano.
"Mr. Jaejoong!" she squealed as she saw me entering the door. She jumped out from the piano chair and hugged my knees. "What are you doing here?" she asked.
"I'm here to fetch you, is that okay?" I bent down and ruffled her hair.
"Yep!" she nodded. "Bye, teacher Ami, thanks for singing with me." she bowed and left the room.
I looked at the girl who was still looking at me. "Thanks." I bowed and left.
"Hurry! Hurry!" she squealed, pulling me out from the building.
I stopped and looked at her. She looked at me and smiled. I knelt down and touched her cheek.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Are you not afraid of me?" I asked her.
"Aniyo..." she replied. "Why should I?" she asked then.
"Uhm, because I'm a stranger... your mom did not tell you to not to talk strangers?" I replied.
"She did... but... you look not a stranger..." she replied.
I smiled "Then, what do I look like?" I asked.
"Honestly, I want you to be my dad!" she smiled then turned sad. "You know... I grew up without seeing my dad..." she added.
Poor girl... it's your mom's fault! "Don't worry... I'll be your dad..." I smiled. "Soon." I whispered.
"Really?!" she smiled again. "That would be great!" she squealed and hugged me.
"Promise." I pledged. Then, I hugged her and carried her. I started to walk. "Where do you want to go with your dad now?" I asked.
"Gui Gui Ice Cream Parlor!" she said, raising both her arms.
"Gui Gui what?" I asked. "Where is that thing?" I added.
"It's at the center of Banzai Circle." she replied. "Mom and I always eat there! I love their ice creams!" she squealed.
"Really?" I asked. Oh great, now that she have said it... I should call AJ.
We went in the car and I fixed her seatbelt around her. She thanked me and I smiled back. I buckled my seat and started the engines. While driving, I took my phone out. I dialed AJ's number.
"Yoboseo." she answered. I can hear voices of people around her.
"AJ, there's a change..." I said. "Could we meet at Gui Gui Ice Cream Store?" I asked.
"Gui Gui?" she repeated. "Okay... fine." she then hang up.
I looked at Jaerin and she looked back.
"Was that mom?" she asked.
"Yep, I asked her to meet with me at Gui Gui." I replied.
"Oh yey!" she squealed. "By the way... uhm..."
"Why?" I asked.
"I don't know what to call you..." she blushed.
"Oh, cute little girl!" I pinched her cheek. "You can call me appa." I said.
"Appa?" she repeated. "Yay! Thanks, Appa!" she said.
"It's nothing." I smiled.
AJ's p.o.v.
I was seated at the table for four inside Gui Gui ice cream parlor. I looked outside, waiting for Jaejoong to appear somewhere over the crowd. How come he know about Gui Gui? I mean... it was inside the circle and as far as I know... he won't go here for no reasons... how come he knows about this store? The store which Jaerin loves to eat at...
A few minutes passed and when I looked at outside again, I saw Jaejoong... beside him was a small female girl... the vision of them became more clear to me... I looked at the girl and to my surprise...
"Jaerin?"
