AJ's p.o.v.
"Jaerin?"
What the heck? That scene almost made me want to shout all the bad words I know.
"Why the heck are they together?" I uttered as I watched them enter the ice cream parlor. I stood up and without hesitation, took Jaerin from Jaejoong's hands. "We're going home, baby." I said, without looking at Jaejoong.
"But mom, we just arrived here and I wanna eat ice cream!" Jaerin pouted and ran towards Jaejoong, hugging his knees.
"I said we're going home!" I shouted.
What's the problem with you, AJ? Why did you suddenly feel afraid?
"AJ, why don't you just tell us everything?" Jaejoong was... serious.
"What do you mean? I have nothing to explain." I said, I bit my lip and looked outside.

"Mama! Guess what, Mr. Jaejoong told me that I can call him Appa! Isn't that great?" Jaerin squealed as she licked her mint flavored ice cream.
I stayed quiet, looking outside. I did not want to see how close and how happy they were together.
"Mama!" Jaerin called, shouted, and threw the napkin into the trash can. "Mama! You're not listening to me!" she pouted.
"Sorry, baby." I replied.
"What's wrong?" she asked, sitting beside me.
"Nothing's wrong. Promise." I said, teary eyes. I can see that Jaejoong was looking at me.
"Don't you think it's about time, AJ?" he asked.
I looked at him. "For what?" I asked, more serious.
"To tell US the truth." he emphasized us.
"What truth? There are no lies here." I said, sarcastically.
"AJ, tell me, Jaerin's my daughter.
JAEJOONG's p.o.v.
Damn it! Jaejoong, that was not the good way to bring up that topic! But... it's better. I know. Well!
"Mama?" Jaerin's face became confused as she looked at AJ.
"Don't listen to him, Jaerin." AJ spoke, glaring at me.
"Come on, AJ! Why are you hiding it anyways?!" I stood up.
"I'm hiding nothing." she looked away.
"AJ, tell me, Jaerin's the fruit of what we've shared that night!" I was completely out of my mind. Come on, who would not be mad anyways?
"There's nothing between us, Jaejoong." she stood up too.
"Mom... Mr. Jaejoong... stop fighting. They're all looking at us." Jaerin's eyes were teary.
I sat down and crossed my arms and legs.
"Let's go, Jaerin. We must get out of here now." AJ said as she held Jaerin's hands.
"Mama!" she cried.
"I SAID LET'S GO!" she shouted.
In an instant, Jaerin became quiet and AJ carried her. Jaerin looked at me as she cried.
"Mr. Jaejoong!" she called. AJ did not stop from walking. "APPA!" she shouted.
My face lit up a little... hearing her call me appa. And AJ... she had stopped from walking.
"Mom... I want Mr. Jaejoong to be my appa!" she cried around AJ's neck. "Mama! Please!" she pleaded.
Maybe, she realized something...
"Jaerin... dear." AJ started to cry. She knelt into the floor as Jaerin went down hugging her. "I'm so sorry, Jaerin!" she started sobbing, as she hugged Jaerin tightly.
"Mom, what's wrong? Don't cry here! It's embarrassing for me if they see you crying like a child!" Jaerin said.
I stood up and held AJ's shoulders. "Come on, let's talk outside." I said. Then, we went out from the parlor. I could feel something exciting!
We went to the bench area. Some were occupied and some were just empty. We sat at the bench near the small pond. Jaerin sat between me and AJ and she was playing with a little doll I bought for her earlier before we went in the ice cream parlor. I looked at AJ as she looked at the small fishes swimming inside the small pond. Jaerin was busy playing with her doll... still, I... looking at her face. Soon, I felt like my tears were about to come out. I decided to look at the pond and forget what I was thinking earlier.
"Jaerin." AJ called, still looking at the pond.
"Yes, mom?" she replied, looking at AJ, placing the doll at her lap.
"What would you do if... Jaejoong really is your dad?" she asked.
I was surprised. I looked at her as she looked at Jaerin who was... just smiling.
"I would be happy!" she replied and looked at me. "Mr. Jaejoong is really nice and he's awesome!" she sniffed and sneezed. She's really cute.
"Are you going to be mad at me?" AJ started to cry.
"No." Jaerin replied and touched AJ's left cheek with her right small hand. "Mama, you're still my mom and I won't get mad at you no matter what." she said. Then, she wiped the tears from AJ's eyes with her small soft finger. "No matter how many secrets you keep from me." she added.
"Even if... it's about your father?" AJ asked.
"Well... that's another topic." she crossed her arms. "But mom, I won't get mad at you!" she smiled.
"Jaerin..." AJ uttered and hugged her tightly. "I'm really sorry, Jaerin. Mama never wanted to keep this from you but... it always scared me that you might get mad because... because I wanted to hide you from Jaejoong. I'm really sorry, Jaerin... I hope you'll forgive me." she cried more.
"So, Mr. Jaejoong is really my dad?" Jaerin asked, still hugged by AJ.
AJ nodded her head and looked at me. I smiled at her and touched her left cheek.
"Really really my dad?" Jaerin repeated.
"Yep." AJ looked at her this time and smiled a bit.
"As in?" she chuckled.
"Are you playing with me?" AJ asked back.
"No mama. I'm just..." she uttered as she looked at Jaejoong. "My daddy's hot." she laughed.
Bwoh? A kid knows HOT? AS IN HOT?
"What made you say that, Jaerin?" I asked, touching both her cheeks.
"Well, because the girls from the ice cream parlor kept looking at you." Jaerin said happily. "But sorry to them because Mr. Jaejoong is TAKEN!" she laughed.
"Hey, you kiddo!" I ruffled her hair.
"Don't you ever ruffle my hair again!" she pouted, covering the top of her head.
"Sorry, daughter..." I said and hugged her.
"I love you so much! Appa!" she squealed and hugged back.
I looked at AJ... at first, she was still sad. Maybe, she was still regretting the times she have kept this secret from us. But after I had smiled at her, she smiled back... and I kissed her forehead.
"Now, now." Jaerin broke her hug. "I want to hear mama say I love you to appa!" she demanded, standing in front of us.
I looked at AJ as she looked at Jaerin.
"Jaerin, it's not that easy!" AJ blushed. Yeah, she never told me she loves me... since that night.
"I love you." I spoke, looking at AJ.
She looked back and turned back to Jaerin.
"Mama?" Jaerin chanted.
"Fine fine." she replied under her breath. "I love you too." she said and looked at me.
I smiled and pinched her cheek.
"It was never easy!" she punched my arm.
"Ow!" I winced... acted. No one can hurt me with a slight punch. "Are you tickling me?" I winked.
"Whatever." she rolled her eyes.
It was never that easy...
