“Dear Mei, how are you doing? We barely have the chance to talk like we used to. It has been three months since our departure, I really miss all of you. We officially got married the second day after our arrival. At first, I wasn't used to be called Mrs. Yan. I love it though. Hebe Yan doesn't sound so good so I decided to keep Tien as my middle name, Hebe Tien Yan. I think my baby will keep it too. The doctor said there's only a few more months left before we meet our little girl. Yes, it's a girl! I think Aaron's planning to name her April, but I prefer June. Too bad Mei's already taken.”
Mei giggled.
“Aaron is doing great also. Handsome as always. He's been working very hard to earn some money. Everything is so expensive here. Thank goodness I have a friend who lets us use her vacation home. How is my mom and dad doing? I'm such a unfilial daughter for leaving without telling them. All right, I'm going to keep this letter short and sweet. Tell Selina that I didn't forget about her, I'll send a letter to her next.”

“I wish we were like them.” Jiro said.
Selina headed inside the kitchen to grab some cups of coffee.
“You wish you were married to me?” Calvin joked.
“Are you trying to make citrus Barbie jealous of me?” Jiro said.
“For your information, she changed it to a floral fragrance.” Calvin said.
“You let this fool sniff your hair?” Jiro asked.
“How are you and Selina doing?” Mei asked, hoping to change the silly topic.
“For the past three months, I've proposed to her at least once a day, the answer is still no.” Jiro said as he took a seat next to Calvin.
“Did you propose to her today?” Mei asked.
Jiro shook his head.
“Try ignoring her for the rest of the week.” Mei said.
“What?” Jiro and Calvin asked.
“If you stop, she'll realize the importance of your marriage proposal.” Mei continued.
“Are you sure?” Jiro asked.
“We should be going now,” Calvin said.

Calvin opened the door to the apartment complex. Ella stepped out of the kitchen before Calvin got a chance to lead Mei inside the living room to meet his mother.
“Calvin?” Ella said, “Mei?”
She pulled him inside the kitchen.
“Your ex-girlfriend is here.” Ella said.
“Angela?” Calvin asked, “Why is she here?”
“You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend like her.”
“We broke up seven years ago.”
“Why is Mei here?”
“To meet ma.”
“Maybe another day?”
“We've been dating for the past 3 months.”
“You must be lying.”
“Why would I be lying?”
“To stop ma from finding girls for you to marry.”
“If you don't believe me you can ask her.”

Ella rushed outside and pulled Mei inside the kitchen.
“How long have you guys been dating?” Ella asked.
“Three months.” Mei replied.
“This is exactly why I didn't want to tell you guys.” Calvin said, “None of you would believe me.”
“All right then, if you say she's your girlfriend, introduce your girlfriend to mother immediately.” Ella said.

Calvin grabbed Mei's hand and pulled her into living room. His mother was talking to a girl, who also had beautiful long black hair.
“Calvin,” she said as she got up and hugged him.
He quickly brushed her away.
“Mother, this is Mei, my girlfriend.”
“Calvin.” His mother said, “What about Angela?”
“Girlfriend?” Angela said, “What about me?”
Angela sprinted out of the apartment after staring at Mei.
“Follow her.” grandma Chen ordered.
“I'll go.” Mei said.
Calvin nodded.

“Who is that girl?” his mother asked.
“Someone I love.” Calvin said.
“What about Angela?”
“What about her?”
“I thought you had missed her all these years.”
“I have forgotten about her since she had decided to marry another man.”
“I don't think your new relationship will last.”
“Why not?”
“I don't think she is serious about you.”
“She's not like that at all.”
“Watch, she'll dump you in a heartbeat just like Angela when she is done fooling with you.”

Calvin ran outside to look for Mei. He was immediately slapped by Angela as soon as he walked out of the door.
“You promised you would wait for me.” Angela cried.
“You're crazy.” Calvin replied, “You left me for someone else years ago and expect me to still be here?”
“Are you choosing her over me?” Angela asked.
“She is the only one in my heart.” Calvin said.
Angela stormed towards the stairs.

“I'm sorry.” Calvin said.
“Does it hurt?” Mei asked as she touched his reddened face.
“Not as much as it hurts me to see you worried.”
Ella stepped outside.
“Did you slap him?” Ella asked.
“No.” Mei said, “Angela did.”
“I thought you would slap him out of jealously.” Ella continued , “I mean, I would.”
“He already told me about Angela.” Mei said.
“So you two really have been dating.” Ella said.
“Come inside,” Ella said, “dinner's getting cold.”

Jiro also proposed to Selina for 3 months.
Mei ate dinner at the Chen's place.
They ran into Calvin's ex.
