HyeSu(smiling):JunSu,this is your chance!What are you waiting for?
JunSu(worried):Yeah,but I’m not sure.What if I will screw up?
They were standing in front of a white door on which was a poster saying “Audition”.JunSu started to tremble.
HyeSu: JunSu,you have an amazing voice.How can you fail?Come on,go there and show them what you got!I’ll be here supporting you!!Go JunSu!!!
JunSu:Ok…Here goes nothing!
A trembeling JunSu walks on the white door.
JunSu:Hello…my name is JunSu Kim…Kim JunSu …hehe…
Lady:Don’t be nervous.You may begin ^_^
JunSu:Ok…
JunSu hawks and starts to sing.The jury is charmed by his voice.He had them in his spell the whole time he sang and they seemed to have chosen him without having second thoughts.After he finished singing he looks at the jury with a innocent eyes and an embarrassed smile.The jury comes back to reality and they talk a few moments amoung themselves.
HyeSu:”He will be picked without second thoughts…I know it!”
Man:Thank you!Next!!!
JunSu was struck,speachless.He didn't expect this.
JunSu (inaudible voice):Thank you!(exits)
HyeSu::WHAT??ARE THEY CRAZY??I’LL SLAP THEM!!I’LL KILL THEM ALL!!!
JunSu tries to calm her down.
JunSu:Calm down,sis…it’s ok.I didn’t sing good enough due to my emotions.
HyeSu:What are you talking about?You didn’t sang well?You want me to slap you too?You have a divine voice.I have never heard in my entire life someone who has such a profound voice.I KILL THEM ALL!!
JunSu:We better leave until you do the things you said.
JunSu pushes HyeSu to the exit and the both leave home.When the arrived home,Junsu throws his keys on the little table from the lobby and then goes to his room quietly. HyeSu watches her brother with sad eyes and then goes to the fridge to take some food.
A week later, JunSu and HyeSu were eating dinner with their parents. JunSu was playing with his food and HyeSu was not in the mood for eating either when she saw her brother like that.
Mrs Kim:Have they called you yet,sweety?
JunSu:No,mom…not yet.
Mrs Kim:Well…don’t be sad honey.I’m sure they will call you soon.You have an amazing voice.
HyeSu:That is what I keep telling him for a week,mom.They would be crazy if they wouldn’t choose him.
JunSu:But I was still flushed and maybe I...
Mr Kim:Don’t worry about it, JunSu.You know they need at least a week to pick the finalists.There are lots of people who want to get there as well.We will be always supporting you.And if you won’t make it,don’t be discouraged.Try again.
JunSu:Thanks!I will...
The phone suddenly rings,interrupting their dinner.
HyeSu: JunSu,will you answer please?
JunSu(runs to the phone):Yoboseyo?
Guy:Is this Kim JunSu?
JunSu:Yes,speaking.May I help you?
Guy:You’ve been chosen a finalist of the audition.Congratulations,Mr Kim!
JunSu:Really?WOW!!Thanks a lot!!
Guy:We will be waiting for you to the company tomorrow morning.The training will begin at 8 o’clock sharp.
JunSu:I’ll be there!Goodbye and thank you very much!(hangs up)
Mr Kim:So?Who was it?
JunSu:I’m one of the finalists!I got to go tomorrow to start training at 8 am.
HyeSu(gets up and hugs him):See?I told you so!Congrats,oppa!!!
His parents congratulate and hug him as well.
Mrs Kim: JunSu,if you want to be there in time tomorrow,you better eat quickly and go to bed early.
Junsu:I will ^_^
4 YEARS LATER AT DBSK HOUSE,8 O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING...
JaeJoong was preparing breakfast, JunSu was taking a shower,YooChun was reading the paper.YunHo enters the kitchen.
JaeJoong:Go and wake ChangMin up.Breakfast is almost ready.
YunHo was looking suggestively at YooChun.He was feeling watched and looks at YunHo.
YooChun:What?I’m busy,I’m reading the paper…
YunHo:It’s your turn to wake him up.I woke him the last time.
YooChun:It’s not true. JunSu woke him the last time.Now it’s your turn!
YunHo: YooChun,you’re not fooling me.(shows him a piece of paper)I kept count.It’s your turn to wake him up.
YooChun:”He does really keep count?”Ok,ok…
YooChun goes in ChangMin’s room,who was still asleep.He stops in front of the door and starts screaming his name. ChangMin does not react in any way. YunHo comes and stops behind YooChun.
YunHo:He won’t wake up if you don’t shake him…and in order to do that you must get close to him.
YooChun:Then you go and shake him.
YunHo:Are you afraid?
YooChun:No,I’m not.It’s just that if you want him to wake up so badly,wake him yourself.
YunHo:You’re scared,I can see it in your eyes.
Yoochun:Ok…ok…i’m going to shake him…Jesus!!!You’re more scared than I am, YunHo.
YunHo:Sure…
YooChun slowly approaches ChangMin’s bed.Puts his hand on the boy’s shoulder and shakes him lightly. ChangMin does not react.Yoochun starts to shake him violently and screams his name.Suddenly,ChangMin grabs YooChun by the head with his hands.
YooChun: ChangMin-ah…are you awake?Breakfast is ready.
ChangMin(in his sleep):Breakfast?Uhhh…My breakfast…BASTARD!!!DON'T TOUCH IT!!!
ChangMin hits YooChun’s face with his head and then slaps him.He falls along with ChangMin on the floor.YunHo runs fast into the kitchen.
YunHo:JaeJoong!!! ChangMin has nightmares again!!!He started to beat YooChun!!!
JaeJoong:WHAT??
In ChangMin’s room,YooChun stands up.ChangMin,still sleepy,opens his eyes and looks around.The first image he sees is YooChun’s broken nose.
ChangMin:Hyung!!!What happened?Why is your nose bleeding?Let me help you!
YooChun:You broke my nose,stupid!What were you dreaming again?
ChangMin:Me?Ehehe…I don’t remember…Forgive me hyung,I didn’t mean to.
YooChun:Aish!!I forgive you, ChangMin.I know you didn’t do it on purpose.I will go to the bathroom.(pats his shoulder)
JaeJoong and YunHo come running into the room and stop in front of it. YooChun exits the room in a hurry,leaving behind him a trail of blood.A moment of silence enveloped the room.ChangMin stands.
JaeJoong:The breakfast is ready…^^;
ChangMin:I’ll be there in a minute.
YunHo and JaeJoong exit the room and go into the kitchen.YooChun was standing at the table with a napkin on his face. JunSu comes out of the bathroom. JaeJoong serves breakfast.Everyone sits down at the table to eat. JunSu notices YooChun’s red and swollen nose.
JunSu: YooChun what happened to you nose?You look like Santa’s reindeer.Hahahaha!!
YooChun:Shut up!Let’s see how much you will have if ChangMin will break your nose next time.
JunSu:Hahaha…He broke your nose in his sleep?Hahaha!!
YooChun:I told you to shut up, JunSu!It’s not funny at all.
ChangMin:I’m sorry,hyung.
YooChun:I know, ChangMin,it’s not your fault.Forget it.Let’s talk about something else,shall we?
JunSu:Haha…I’m sorry, YooChun…
ChangMin:And why are we up so early?Today is our free day,we can sleep as long as we want.
JunSu:My sister, HyeSu is coming today at 10 o’clock.She will be staying here for a while and I don’t want her to find the house messy and us in pj’s.After we eat we will change and we will clean up a bit.
JaeJoong:I agree with JunSu.We were so busy and tired that we didn’t even have time to clean up.We will clean up the mess in our rooms.
YunHo:Your sister,how is she like?
JunSu:Well…she is crazy,but don’t worry,I’m sure you will get used to her in no time.Why do you ask YunHo?Do you need a girlfriend?
YunHo:No,I was just asking to know how to react when I will meet her.
JunSu:And you say I’m desperate.
YunHo:What?This is the truth.
JunSu:Ok,if you say so…
Their conversation is interrupted by the doorbell.
JaeJoong:Who could be this early in the morning?
JunSu:I’ll get it!
JunSu opens the door and sees HyeSu,his sister.
HyeSu: JunSu!!!(jumps and hugs him)
JunSu: HyeSu,you’re early.We didn’t expect you until 10 o’clock.
HyeSu:I know but I was dying to see you.Besides,we haven’t seen eachother for 5 years.Plus,I wanted to surprise you guys.
ChangMin: JunSu,who is at the door?
JunSu:It’s HyeSu.She came earlier.
After a moment of silence,they could hear all sort of strange noises coming from the kitchen.
JaeJoong:OW! YunHo!!That was your elbow and my rib!!
YunHo:Sorry!
JaeJoong:It doesn’t matter!Just move it!
JunSu:Hehe…Come in.The boys are in the kitchen…
HyeSu:Great!I can’t wait to meet them.Oh! JunSu,can you help me with these luggages?They are kind of heavy and…aaa…many…
JunSu looks behind his sister and sees a mountain of luggages.
JunSu:O.O No problem sis!”What’s wrong the girls?They take the whole house with them when they leave.”
HyeSu:Oppa,always a gentlemen.Love ya!In the meantime I will go and say hello to the boys.
HyeSu kisses JunSu on the cheek and enters in the apartment.She walks torward the kitchen and JunSu tries to lift a big suitcase,but he falls on the floor with the suitcase.
JunSu:Holy crap!!!It’s going to break my back!What’s in these suitcases?Rocks?
HyeSu enters in a messy and devastated kitchen.The chairs were reversed,food and drinks spilled on the table,pots and dishes all over the kitchen.
HyeSu:WOW!This looks like the aftermath of the world war 3.Maybe they didn’t have time to clean up.
YunHo enters in the kitchen followed by the other members.
YunHo:Hi!You must be HyeSu.I am…
HyeSu:I know who you are, YunHo.And the others are: JaeJoong, ChangMin and YooChun.You are very popular and,besides, JunSu told me a lot about you.We will be staying together for a while and I hope we will get along,in fact I know we will.^_^
She hugs them all.
HyeSu:Ah!I almost forgot!I have a surprise for you guys.I hope you will like it.JunSu!!Bring me the blue suitcase,please!
JunSu comes dragging a blue suitcase which he throws on the kitchen floor.
HyeSu: JunSu,DON’T THROW IT LIKE THAT!!!
Everyone is startled. HyeSu starts searching for something inside the suitcase.
JunSu:Sorry…
HyeSu:I brought you some presents.I hope you like them.
She gives ChangMin a big box.When he opens it, ChangMin finds a fruit cake.
ChangMin:WOW!!It looks so good!!Thanks!
HyeSu:I made it.I hope it’s good.
JaeJoong:You know how to bake? JunSu is clueless.
HyeSu:Well,not everyone is good at cooking and baking.
She hands YunHo a little box.He finds a locket with a heart medallion inside.
YunHo:WOW!I love it!It’s so nice!Thanks!
Next she hands YooChun a box which contained a hat.
YooChun:WOW!This is the hat a wanted to buy for a long time for my collection.Thanks!
HyeSu:You welcome!Next is JaeJoong.Here you go.
She gives him a book named:”Recepies from around the world”.
JaeJoong:WOW!Awesome!!I’ll start cooking as soon as I have time.Thanks!
HyeSu:And last but not least,my dear brother who is always so kind to me.
JunSu:You didn’t have to bring me anything.
Inside the small box,he finds a bracclet.
JunSu:WOW!This is so cool!!Where did you get it?Thanks!
HyeSu:Your welcome,minna.I’m happy you like the presents.
JunSu looks around and sees the mess in the kitchen.His eyes widen in shock.
JunSu:What happened in this kitchen?
ChangMin:Uhmm…well…it’s because JaeJoong hyung saw a coackroach and…
JaeJoong:It’s not true!!!We ran because…(YunHo wrapes his arm around JaeJoong’s shoulders gently)…I saw a coackroach and I scarred everyone and…hehe sorry!”You are SO DEAD Shim ChangMin!!!”
HyeSu:It’s ok,don’t worry about it!I came too early.Let’s eat this cake.I want to know if you guys like it.
After JaeJoong, ChangMin, YunHo and YooChun finished cleaning the kitchen and HyeSu unpacked her stuff,they sat at the table and ate the delicious cake while talking about random stuff.After that HyeSu and JunSu played video games for a couple of hours.When the got bored,they gathered and talked until late at night.
