HongKi:Who is it?
HyeSu:It’s HyeSu.Can we talk for a bit?
HongKi:”What is she doing here?”Come in.
HyeSu found HongKi sitting in bed with his face buried in the pillow.She walked torwards him and sat on the bed.After a few moments of silence, HongKi turned to face her and by looking at her face that she was very worried,in spite of the tender-heartedly look he was receiving.
HongKi:So why are you here?What is it that you want to talk about?
HyeSu:About you.What happened?The others told me that you didn’t go out of the house since 2 weeks ago.
HongKi:It’s nothing,I’m just tired.
HyeSu:Don’t try to deny it.I know that something is bothering you.You can’t fool me.We are best friends,aren’t we?Tell me what’s the matter.
He let out a soft sigh,his eyes darting back at the window.They sit in silence for another 15 minutes.Noticing that she doesn’t want to leave until she gets and answer,he shifted his gaze back to her.He wasn’t mistaken after all.Her soul was as beautiful as her body.
HongKi:You are not going to leave,are you?
HyeSu:Not until I find out what is the reason for your heavy heart.
HongKi:Fine,fine!I’ll tell you.I like a girl,but her heart belongs to another man.
HyeSu:Are they together?
HongKi:It seems so.I mean,I’m not sure,but I saw them kiss once…on the street.
HyeSu:And you’re not going to tell her what you feel about her?
HongKi:I don’t have the guts to do so.I mean,if they are indeed together,I would feel embarrassed.
HyeSu:And what if they’re not together?It’s worth a shot.If you don’t know how to tell her,ask me or YunHee and we will give you some tips.
HongKi:Thanks,you’re a true friend.
HyeSu:That’s what friends are for,right?Now,come on,stop being gloomy.You have to get out of the house today by all means.I’ll wait for you in the kitchen.We will go to have breakfast in town.I haven’t had any this morning.
HongKi:Alright,I’ll be right behind you.
After a rich breakfast,they head back to the mansion.There they find JunSu watching a soccer game,YooChun and JaeJoong playing video games,YunHo was checking his e-mail, YunHee playing cards with JongHun,JaeJin,Hana,MinHwan,WonBin and was winning too,and ChangMin was studying in his room while listening to music on his ipod.No one seemed to notice their presence.
HyeSu:We’re back!
JunSu:Gooooooooooaaaaaaallllll!!!Yes!!!Go Thierry Henry!!
YooChun:JunSu,stop yelling!You’re making us lose our focus.
JunSu:Shut up!You don’t know how to play that game anyway.
YooChun:I lost because of you!
JaeJoong:No,you lost because you don’t know how to play.
YooChun:It’s not true!We’ll see on the next round!!
WonBin:So,you solved the problem?
HongKi:Yes.
JaeJin:Come and play some poker with us.
JongHun:Let’s start all over and this time let’s play strip poker~!
YunHee:You wish!(smacks his head)We will just give punishment if you lose.So are you in or not?
HyeSu:Why not?I’ll beat the crap out of you!Where is ChangMin?I haven’t seen him today.
WonBin:He is studying in his room.He said that he wants to finish his summer homework these days because he won’t have time afterward.
Ft Island spent the whole afternoon at the mansion having fun.After they left,the silence settled once again in the huge building.Everyone had unfinished business to attend to after wasting time.Sun arrived home at dinner time,dead tired. HyeSu went to bring ChangMin to eat in the kitchen.She found him sleeping with his head on the desk and his earpieces in his ears.She shook him a couple of times and after he was awake,followed her silently in the kitchen.The dinner was also silent,no one dared to speak because was drawn into his own toughts.After another few hours,everyone went to sleep,except HyeSu.She walked on the balcony to breathe some fresh air.Since that kiss she shared with ChangMin,she couldn’t help thinking about him.That kiss flashed in her mind whenever she looked at him or didn’t find anything to do to distract her.She gazed at the stars and let out a painful sigh. HyeSu spent another few minutes on the balcony and then went to bed,but didn’t fall asleep until late in the morning.
The next day she found ChangMin sitting on the couch gazing somewhere beyond the empty wall in front of him.She sat next to him,but because he was lost in his own thoughts,didn’t notice he wasn’t alone anymore. HyeSu waves her hand in front of his eyes and finally caught his attention.
HyeSu:Hello!!!!!Anybody home?
ChangMin: HyeSu,sorry,I didn’t know you’re here.
HyeSu:I noticed.Don’t tell me you’re upset because of a girl too.
ChangMin:Huh?
HyeSu:I spoke to HongKi yesterday and he told me this is the reason he was upset.Fortunately,I managed to cheer him up.
ChangMin:Oh,no no no!That’s not the reason I’m upset.
HyeSu:Good.Then what’s wrong with you?Why are you up so early in the morning?It’s not like you.
JaeJoong & JunSu:Morning!
JunSu: ChangMin,why are you awake so early?
ChangMin:Morning!I was thirsty and I couldn't sleep after I drank the water.Did you sleep well?
JaeJoong & JunSu:Yeah.
JunSu:I’m gonna take a shower.
JaeJoong:I’m preparing breakfast.I think you’re famished,right, ChangMin?
ChangMin:Not really.But I’m gonna be soon.
ChangMin and HyeSu continue their conversation talking about various subjects.By the time breakfast was ready,the others were awake too.YooChun and YunHee noticed that ChangMin and HyeSu were talking on the couch like anything else was non existent. YunHee watched them talking and laughing.There was something she saw before and she had a very familiar feeling.Something was strange,but she couldn’t figure it out.Then suddenly,the reality hit her:the 2 of them were head over heels for each other.In a flash,she knew what bespoke her:the spark in their eyes.How come she didn’t see it before? ChangMin looked at HyeSu the way SangKi looked at her once.She had a flashback which took her back to the days she was with SangKi.She almost forgot what WonBin told her about them 2 weeks ago.They all left them alone because they didn’t show any signs of affection to each other and lately they didn’t even spent so much time together.A brilliant idea flashed in her mind,but she needed an accomplice this time.After thinking for a bit,she found the perfect accomplice:Park YooChun.She went to him right away and whispered something to his ear.He smiled and nodded slowly.They go and sit next to ChangMin and HyeSu. YunHee started surfing through the tv channels,so they wouldn’t suspect anything.After a few moments, YunHee signaled YooChun and they pushed ChangMin and HyeSu torwards each other,making their lips meet in a kiss. Being shocked,they kissed for a while,giving enough time to everyone to see.YooChun, YunHee and JunSu began to chuckle.When HyeSu got up shooting death glares,their chuckle suddenly disappeared. YooChun and YunHee dashed torwards the stairs with HyeSu on their trail.At the first floor, YooChun wanted to go left,but YunHee grabed his hand and dragged him to the right in YunHo’s room.They hid in his closet.
JaeJoong finshed eating his breakfast first,then went to get dressed.After a half an hour,he came back down to search for YunHo.
JaeJoong:Could you lend me your cap?
YunHo:Of course,but where are you going?
JaeJoong:On a date with ChanSook.
YunHo:Again?You too love each other very much.
JaeJoong:Yeah.Where can I find it?
YunHo:It’s in my closet.You’ll see it.It’s not hard to find.
JaeJoong:Alright,thanks a lot!
YunHo:Jae,are you going to come home late?
JaeJoong:No,ChanSook told me she has something to do,so I’ll be home at about 5 o’clock.
YunHo:When you’ll be back I want to talk to you in private.
JaeJoong:Something wrong?
YunHo:No.You’ll see when you’re back.Have fun with your girlfriend.
JaeJoong went into YunHo’s room and opened the closet finding YunHee and YooChun in it.
JaeJoong:What are you two doing here?
YunHee:Quiet,you idiot!We are hiding from HyeSu.
JaeJoong:Is it because of the kiss they shared on the couch?
YunHee:Obviously!Now go away until she finds us.
JaeJoong:I came to take a cap.And tell me why should I listen to you?
YooChun:Hyung,I’m begging you.
JaeJoong: YunHo~! YooChun and YunHee are doing strange stuff in your closet!
HyeSu popped out of nowhere behind JaeJoong with a evil smile plastered on her face.He took what he needed from the closet,gave them a wink and quickly headed to the exit. HyeSu was looking at the ones in the closet who started to smile embarrassed.
HyeSu:Aha..so this is where the 2 little rabbits were hiding.I finally found you.You had a brilliant idea hiding in the leader’s closet.
YooChun:You know…we were just trying to…it wasn’t our fault.
HyeSu:Then why are you hiding from me?
YooChun:We…we…
YunHee:RUN~!!!
YunHee pushed her friend out of the way and ran for her life followed by YooChun.The chase lasted for another 2 hours until YunHee was caught.
In the meantime,Sun was sitting on the floor in a gymnasium.She kept hitting the boxing bag and she was tired and sweaty.From the empty hall she could hear footsteps approaching.She turned around when the door opened.It was Shin,her best friend.
Shin:I knew I would find you here.Have you finished?
Sun:Yeah,I’m done.What is it?
Shin:You have a client.I wanted to ask you if…
Sun:Tell him I accept.Take the mission detailes and bring them to me.
Shin:*sigh* You know what I can’t understand about you?How can you accept every mission without protesting?
Sun:Don’t worry about that.Now go.I’ll be right behind you.
With that, Shin walked out of the room.Shin’s words echoed in her head.It was true.Jung Sun never said no to a mission or to a client.Why?Because she wanted to pay her debt as soon as possible.The sooner this madness ended,the better.”Do what you have to do.Stay alive as long as you can and trust no one.Always clear your debts.Fight and never give up no matter what.”These were her morals which were respected stringently.She chose to do this because she couldn’t think of a better way to pay back Mr.Fujimori for saving her that day.And besides,it was the only thing that she was good at.She did this all her life.She wasn’t afraid of dying or to kill. Sun always wondered how could she still stand sane and healthy all these years,especially since Takeo’s death.He who has been the most affectionate brother and friend,left her alone in this world when he had promised that they will both get out of there safe and sound.She felt guilty because she considered that she could do something to save him.She wanted to be the one to die in his place.The memories of those terror years,Takeo’s death still haunted her and she relived those moments every night in her nightmares.Of couse,she couldn’t tell YunHo about it,at least not yet. Sun began to love him and she was extremely happy that things between them began to get normal,that’s why she didn’t want it to get worse.She was also afraid that she might lose him like she lost Takeo by involving him in her complicated life.She got up and gathered her stuff to go to Shin.After she will have those pieces of information she will be going on a mission again.
JaeJoong was on his way home.He had promised YunHo that he will be home by 5 pm,but he had broken it.It was already midnight.Passing by a nearby park,he recognized a familiar form.It was none other than YunHo.He went and sat on the bench next to him.
JaeJoong: YunHo,what are you doing here so late?
YunHo:Waiting for you.You broke your promise.
JaeJoong:Sorry.What was it that you wanted to talk about?
YunHo:About ChanSook.
JaeJoong:We had this conversation before and I told you I love her and…
YunHo:She is cheating on you.
JaeJoong:What?
YunHo:ChanSook is seeing that billionaire,Lee behind your back. YunHee saw them making out at the party.She will marry him and dump you.She is playing with you, JaeJoong.
JaeJoong:So you believe that arrogant girl?She hates me, YunHo!She’d do anything to get me in trouble.
YunHo:I’m sorry to say it,but she is right.Please listen to me.I’m telling you this because you’re my best friend and I want the best for you.
JaeJoong:I can’t believe it.We grew up together and now you came to tell me you believe YunHee.I can’t believe you trust her more.
YunHo:Jae~!Listen to me!
JaeJoong walked away ignoring his best friend.He went home and lied in bed. YunHo had hurt his feelings,but he realized that he couldn’t ignore what he said.It wasn’t like him to give advice or to protest without a really good reason.He wondered if ChanSook will break up with him and marry a billionaire.He shivered at the thought because he loved her truly.He remembered the beautiful moments shared with ChanSook,but they were overshadowed by the break up thought.He couldn’t sleep all night so he got up from bed at dawn to make breakfast for everyone.
