Sun:Shigeru,Kenji,it’s been a while.
Kenji:Miss Sun,sir YunHo.It’s a pleasure to see you again.*bows*
YunHo:So how come you are here?
Shigeru:Mr.Fujimori wishes to see miss Sun.He is here on business and because he didn’t see her in a while,he thought to make time for her.
YunHo:Unfortunately,we are on our way to Thailand to film a video.
Sun: YunHo,I want to go with them.I haven’t seen uncle in a long time.I’ll see you when the shooting is over.I’ll be good,I promise.Please??
YunHo:But where are you going to sleep?
Kenji:I’m sure our boss will be more than happy to have her as a guest for a few nights.
Sun:See?Pretty please??
YunHo:Alright.But we keep in touch.
Sun:Yes!!!Love you!!I’m gonna call you when you have arrived.Bye!
She kisses her brother on the cheek and waves goodbye to the others before leaving with the men.The others are getting on the car and head to the airport.
Sun’s car reaches a huge mansion.She steps out of the car and goes inside.She is lead to the man’s office,which was upstairs.The girl finds the boss talking on the phone.He hanged up the moment she stepped inside the office.Mr.Fujimori goes and hugs her.
Fujimori:Sun,it’s a pleasure to see you.How have you been?
Sun:Fujimori san,it’s been a while.I missed you.I’m good.I’m currently living with my brother because my parents are gone in a cruise.How about you?
Fujimori:Yes,Shin told me.I’m good.The business is good as well.Have you had breakfast?
Sun:Not yet.
Fujimori:Then let’s go and eat.Tell me what adventures you’ve been through.
The man leads her into the dining room where the table was set.Sun sees Shin and runs to hug him.
Sun:Shin!You’re back!
Shin:Yeah..the others are still busy because we have some problems here.That’s why they couldn’t have breakfast with us.You’ll meet them later.
They sat at the table and started eating.
Shin:So how’s your relationship with YunHo going?
Sun:I decided to give him a chance.I really want to get along with him like when we were little.I miss those days.Then everything was normal.This time I promised that I will protect him and make everything that stands in my power for our relationship to work.But enough about me.Fujimori san,tell me..what interesting stuff happened in Japan?
On their way to the airport,no one dares to say a word.YunHee breaks the burdening silence.
YunHee:Who were those guys?They looked like gangsters.
YunHo:They are employees of a bussines man.He is kinda our family friend.He cares a lot about my sister.
JunSu:What do you mean “kinda”?Is he a friend or not?
YunHo:It’s a long story.Sun was kidnapped by a maniac when she was 8.My parents searched for her desperately.Back then they were destroyed by the loss of their daughter.After 7 years,Sun appeared on our doorstep out of nowhere.We were flabbergasted.It was a miracle that she came back.Mr.Fujimori told us that he saved her due to a coincidence and that Sun lived with him for 3 years before he found us.He decided that the best thing for her is to be back with her family.When she came back,she wasn’t the same person anymore.Sun was cold with all of us,but she was very happy when she went to visit Shin and his father.She was acting different around them.I always tried to be nice to her,but she kept rejecting me and in time our relationship became what you saw when you met her.
YunHee:So that explaines her driving and fighting skills and the fact that she can speak Japanese and Chinese.But why is she so cold and quiet?She must have been through something terrible.
YunHo:Yes,she lived in Tokyo for 3 years.I don’t know what happened to her in those 7 years she’s been missing and she won’t tell me.
JunSu:And her nightmares…do you think it’s something to do with her past?Those 7 years?
YunHo:Maybe.I don’t know.She says that she doesn’t remember.Maybe she has amnesia and she doesn’t remember what happened.But whatever happened then I want her to forget and start anew.
JaeJoong:I’m sure this is a very good start.If your replationship gets better,then it will be ok.This will help her forget.
YunHo:Thanks!What would I do without you?I’m happy to have such a great friend like you,Jae.
JaeJoong:Same here.We are a family afterall.
JaeJoong smiles and pats YunHo.The rest of the trip they were silent.As soon as they arrived in Bankok,they registered in a hotel.They were tired so they went to sleep early.
The next day they went to shoot the video on a bridge. JaeJoong climbed on the bridge’s beam and asked YunHo to take a photo of him.JunSu was a few meters away,being filmed.He is asked to climb on the beam too,so they can take some pictures.When he climbs,JunSu looses his balance and falls into the water.HyeSu,who was having a chat with YooChun and YunHee,turns around when she hears JunSu’s scream.She sees her brother falling from the bridge.ChangMin ran and jumped off the bridge after his hyung.YunHee,HyeSu and YooChun went to the side to see what’s happening into the water.YooChun called an ambulance.JaeJoong and YunHo also joined them.They were thinking about the worst case scenario.Seconds seem hours and minutes seem an eternity for them.HyeSu began to cry.
HyeSu:ChangMin!!JunSu!!Please…come up!Don’t you dare leaving me all alone!!!CHANGMIN!!
YunHee:Calm down.They will come up.
ChangMin dived and searched for JunSu.He found JunSu uncouncious,sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss.ChangMin quickly grabed him and started smimming to the surface.When he finally reached the surface,he heard screams.ChangMin realized that a chopper was above them.A man was shouting something he was not able to comprehend.After that,he felt JunSu slip from his grasp.He was being pulled up as well.They received first aid on their way to hospital.HyeSu,YunHee and the rest of DBSK followed ChangMin and JunSu to the hospital.They are allowed to see the two boys.
YooChun:So,who enters first?
JaeJoong:HyeSu,because she is his closest relative.
HyeSu:You guys go ahead.I don’t want them to see me crying.
YunHo:Alright,as you wish.We won’t be long.
The 3 boys enter the quiet room.They see JunSu sleeping due to sedatives.ChangMin was sitting on the bed,looking at him.
YooChun:Hey,hero!How are you feeling?
ChangMin:I’m good,hyung.Where is HyeSu?
JaeJoong:She said that she won’t come until she will calm down.She’s been crying.They will let you out?
ChangMin:Yeah,they made some tests and said that I was fine.I can’t say the same about JunSu hyung.
YunHo:What do the doctors say?
ChangMin:They said that he almost drowned and he was on thermoplegia.He is out of danger now,but he must be under observation for a few days.
YooChun:I see…We must go now.HyeSu must enter too.We weren’t allowed to stay more than five minutes anyway.
HyeSu comes into the room after the boys exit.
HyeSu: ChangMin…how is he?
ChangMin:He will be fine.He is sleeping now.They gave him sedatives.
HyeSu:You?
ChangMin:I’m fine.I will be coming home with you.Where is YunHee?
HyeSu:She is speaking on the phone with MinHwan.
She tried to hold back her tears,but couldn’t.The tears were flowing uncontrollably.Seeing JunSu like this made her feel helpless.She suddenly ran to ChangMin and hugged him.She was grateful to this boy without whom her brother would have been ready to be buried.
HyeSu: ChangMin!Thank you for saving him!I don’t know what I would have done without him.I don’t think I would be able to repay you for what you done.I owe you my life.
ChangMin:Stop crying.He will be alright,I promise you.
The nurse announced them that it was time to leave. ChangMin takes her hand and pulls her torward the exit. HyeSu looks one more time to her brother who was lying motionless on a hospital bed.They went to the car where the others were waiting.YunHee was still speaking on the phone.
YunHee:MinHwan,I told you we will talk later about this.JunSu had an accident.We are in Bankok now.You know what?I have a life too.I can’t baby-sit you your whole life!If you want to seduce her,do it yourself!I don’t have time for this.I got to go!Bye~!(hangs up)Finally! HyeSu,how’s JunSu?
ChangMin: YunHee,can’t you see that she is not feeling well?Stop asking stupid questions,because is not the best time. JunSu will be fine.
YunHee:I was asking a normal question.Why you have to be like this,ChangMin-shi?
ChangMin:You see how she is.Your questions were stupid.As well as your phone conversation.
YunHee looks at him surprised for a few moments.
YunHee:She is my friend.I have the right to ask.But you know what?I’m not going to argue with you about this now.I do it for her sake.Because if she wasn’t here now,I would have been already beaten the crap out of you.
HyeSu: ChangMin,stop arguing,please.
ChangMin:Alright HyeSu.It’s ok.I’m not mad or anything.You need to rest.
HyeSu continued to cry in ChangMin’s arms.At the hotel,they decided that HyeSu should sleep with ChangMin in the same room. YunHee chose to sleep with YooChun in another room.
In Seoul,Sun was having dinner with mr Fujimori and his son.They were chatting when the the phone rang.It was YunHo,who called to let her know about the accident.When she heard the news,she choked on the water she was drinking.She immediately took and helicopter to Bankok.She descended from the helicopter to JunSu’s room window and entered.The helicopter left.She watched JunSu breathing for a few moments.He was connected to a bunch of devices.His breathing and heartbeat were monitored.She looked on the screen.Everything seemed alright.Sun goes to the next bed and took out some clothes from a bag she had brought along.After she changed,she went into the nurse’s office which was now deserted and modified some data on the pc.Sun quietly exited the room and returned to JunSu’s room.It was about 3 in the morning when a nurse came into the room.Sun was sleeping as well.The nurse went to JunSu’s bed and wanted to inject something iv.Sun grabed her hand fast,so she couldn’t administrate.She took the dripper from the nurse’s hand and then pushed her.The nurse fell on the cold floor away from the patient’s bed.
Sun:Trying to kill him in his sleep?That’s not fair.
Nurse:Who are you?You don’t work here.And what are you doing?Those are antibiotics.The patient needs them.
Sun:You think I’m an idiot?These are Phanodorm,strong barbs.And in this dripper is an overdose.Sedative overdose.Nice death.He won’t know what hit him and besides,the hospital staff will be blamed.Who told you to do this?
The nurse stands up and tries to run ,but Sun grabs her and administrates the sedative in her neck.After 2 minutes,the nurse died.Sun undressed her,covered her with a sheet and put her on a barrow which was on the empty hallway.She saw a nurse and told her to take the body to be cremated.Then she returned in the room to get ridd of the rest of the evidence.
In the hotel room, ChangMin was sleeping soundly,but HyeSu didn’t sleep a wink.She was still crying. ChangMin mumbeling something in his sleep and move in his sleep. HyeSu noticed that he was having a nightmare and goes to his bed.Sits next to him and caressed him,stroking his hair.After a few seconds,he calmed down.She hugs him and falled asleep next to him an hour later.In the morning,YunHo was the first to wake up and woke JaeJoong too.They went and woke everyone.YooChun came and knocked at ChangMin’s door.They had to go to shoot the video.ChangMin opened his eyes and saw HyeSu sleeping beside him.She had her arms wrapped around his waist.He takes the phone and dials JaeJoong’s number telling him to speak to the manager and tell him he needs to rest today because he is sick.JaeJoong agreed and they left without ChangMin.
At the hospital,JunSu wakes up.He sees a nurse standing by the window.
JunSu:Excuse me miss…where am i?
Sun:Su,you’re up!You’re in Bankok in hospital.You had accident.
JunSu:Sun??What are you doing here dressed as a nurse?Shouldn’t you be with that business man?
Sun:As long as you will stay in this hospital,I will be your personal nurse.I volunteered here.Mr Fujimori asked me because a nurse quit her job.
JunSu:What happened to me?
Sun:You fell off the bridge.You don’t remember?
JunSu:I do remember that I wanted to climb on the beam and then I lost my balance.
Sun:You fell into the water and ChangMin dived and took you back to the surface.We were worried about you.But enough of this.The doctor said that you are allowed to take a walk.So I’m going to take you out of this gloomy hospital after you will eat something and take your medicines.
As she promised,Sun puts JunSu in a wheelchair and takes him to her car.They made a city tour and they took lunch in a restaurant.They went back to the hosptal in the evening.
ChangMin continued to watch HyeSu all day.At a time he too fell asleep.It was about 11 at night when HyeSu woke up and looked at the clock.When she saw what time it is,rushes out of the bed. ChangMin grabed her hand.
ChangMin:It’s no use.They won’t let you in.It’s too late already.You’ll see him tomorrow.
HyeSu:You’re right.You…you stood all day long by my side?
ChangMin(blushed):Yeah…I couldn’t take your hand off me so I resigned and slept here.
HyeSu:I’m sorry…
ChangMin:Don’t be.I’m glad that I could get some rest.You should too.We will go and visit him tomorrow.
She lied back down next to him and they both fell asleep.The next morning,they all went to the hospital to visit JunSu.When they enter in JunSu’s room,they see Sun feeding him.
YunHee: Sun??What are you doing here?And what’s with your outfit?
JunSu:She’s my personal nurse.She volunteered to work here for a few days.
HyeSu(smiles): JunSu!!Don’t you ever scare me like that again,you hear me??
JunSu:I’m sorry to have made you worried.Thanks ChangMin!I owe you my life.Sun told me.
ChangMin:No problem,hyung.No need to thank me.
YooChun:We are glad that you are alright,Su.
JaeJoong:You gave us quite a scare.
YunHo:So what did the doctor say?Can you go home today?
JunSu:I’m ready to go.
YunHee:Perfect!Let’s go!
YooChun:Sun,can I talk to you in private for a minute?
Sun:Sure.
They go outside to talk.
YooChun:Now tell me why are you here?
Sun:I volunteered to…
YooChun:Cut the bullshit!I want the truth!
Sun(sigh):Very well.But if you tell anyone,I’ll kill you.Last night a chick dressed as a nurse came to JunSu and tried to inject him an barb overdose.And I think that the bridge incident wasn’t a coincidence either.
YooChun:What did you do with the chick?
Sun:I killed her by injecting the barbs in her neck and sent her to be cremated.No one will ever find out what happened.
YooChun:OMG~!Why you have to keep killing people?
Sun:Listen to me,Chun.I don’t like it either.But if I don’t do it,they will come back and try again.I don’t know who is behind all this,but I will find out.This is dangerous for all of you.You already know too much.
YooChun:You could go to prison if this will be found out.They’ll probably give you lethal injection.You’ll…
Sun:Come with me.I want to show you something.
She leads him into the deserted nurse office.Sun starts to unbutton her shirt.He quickly looked away.
YooChun:What are you doing?
Sun:Relax.I just want to show you something.Look at me.
She threw her shirt on the table.He looked at the girl.She turned her back at him,revealing a tattoo on her back.It was a black snake. YooChun at it flabbergasted.She also showed him a tattoo on her right arm.It was written “Shinigami” in Japanese.
Sun:Do you know what this means?
YooChun:No.
Sun:I’m a member of the Yakuza.”Shinigami” means I’m an assassin.
YooChun:What did you just say??
Sun:I told you this because I know I can trust you.Don’t tell anyone.
YooChun stood there trying to figure out what she just said.He was speechless.She was younger than him by 2 years and she was a assassin.
YooChun:Sun…we have to talk about this.Why are you telling me this?
Sun:Later.We don’t have time now.Why?I don’t know either.I might get killed for this.Maybe this is what I want.
YooChun:NO!HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT??
Sun:Keep your voice down.This is a hospital,remember?Now,please turn around.I want to get changed.I hate skirts.
The yelling and screaming coming from the nurse’s office caught YunHee’s attention.She goes into the room and she sees YooChun talking to Sun who was buttoning her shirt in front of him.She frowned.Her eyes stung,but she held back the tears.
YooChun(cough):YunHee…is there something wrong?
YunHee:I…I just came to tell you that we got to go.
Sun:Let’s go then.
The exited the room and left the hospital. JunSu finishes his shooting the next day and they head back to Korea.
