“What’s that about a girl being with Yunho earlier on?”
“Ah that. Yunho sshi entered the hotel with a very fair and young lady a few hours before the rest of you checked in,”
“Yunho was in this very hotel before?”
[End of Recap]
“Yes, and he was supposed to go to my house too,”
I eyed the manager up and down, feeling a little grossed out. Sure, he was good-looking and finely dressed, but he definitely isn’t Yunho hyung’s type.
“It’s okay, I don’t want to know that much. I don’t mean to sound rude but it would be nice if you left us now,”
I gave the manager a weak smile, afraid that I would be his next target.
“Let’s go,”
The manager replied with a concern look on his face, pulling Theodore along with him.
“Not him,”
I placed my hand on Theodore’s shoulder, pulling him to behind me, my tone sounding a little helpless. With a little pout, the manager walked away, dragging his feet. “Dejection” was clearly written all over his small frame.
“Yunho had been in this hotel, with a… lady?”
This is the time where the music plays in the drama, indicating that I have found out something I wasn’t supposed to know.
“Can you repeat that, in English?”
And this is when the scratching sound of a disk is played, telling us that the atmosphere had been abruptly ruined by someone’s insensitive comment.
[Ri In’s POV]
“Don’t you think we should get you dressed?”
I looked down at myself. Oh, I almost forgot that I’m just wearing a translucent top and a pair barely visible shorts underneath.
“What can we do about it? We left Theodore’s belongings in the room and neither one of us have money on us… How are we going this pay for this taxi fare?”
“About that… Although U-Know Yunho is a righteous leader of Dong Bang Shin Ki, there are times where a human is easily tempted, especially when he is down and out. As for –,”
And then he started talking about the temptations of living beings and the human nature.
“Get to the point,”
“I took the wallet from the Hotel Manager’s car,”
“See, isn’t that so much easier than wasting my time listening to you blabber?”
“Oh, so now my philosophical talk is too much for your tiny brain to handle,”
“Here we go again with the childish squabbles,”
The taxi driver complained softly, although I did hear him. Seems like the driver is pretty good in Korean too.
“Excuse me ahjusshi, but do you understand Korean?”
“What language do you think I was speaking in just now, Chinese?”
…and he has a short temper too. Sheesh.
“Can you bring us to a clothes shop?”
Five minutes later, Yunho pushed me out of the taxi. Literally, he pushed me out of the vehicle. Why did he push me? Mental note: Ask Mr Sir Jung Yunho as for why he pushed me out of the cab.
I stood in front of the shop’s entrance, my arms crossed, staring at the “gentleman”. He opened the door slowly and stuck his right foot out, in a vain attempt to create a cool image for himself since nobody was really paying attention. Well, except for me of course.
The taxi driver drove off and Mr Sir Jung Yunho strolled towards where I was standing. With the attire he has donned on himself complementing the manner he was walking in, he looked like a total hooligan to me.
…a really attractive hooligan.
Jang Ri In, snap out of it!
“What are you looking at? I know that I’m too good to resist, but stop staring. Even a popular man can get embarrassed by you staring down at them like this,”
He laughed foolishly to himself and shifted his legs about.
I continued staring at him, not knowing what to say to make a good comeback.
“Come on in, we won’t be changed into a new set of clothes just by standing at their doorstep,”
He pulled me into the shop. Great, first he pushed me out of the cab and now he’s dragging me.
*Mental Note Alert*
Maybe it’s just me whose mind is functioning very weirdly. As if my brain had an alarm set to it, I heard ringing sounds. I found it weird too since I’ve never heard these kinds of alarm going off in my heads when I’ve set mental notes to myself in the past.
Yunho let go of my hand and walked around the shop, looking for suitable clothes. I stood there, using my left hand to lightly hit my head, thinking that it would “knock” the ringing sound out of my mind.
“What are you doing?”
“Eh? There’s ringing sounds in my head,”
“Dummy, that’s the song they’re playing in the shop. ‘Wrong Number’. Didn’t you hear it before?”
“It’s a song?”
I let my hands fall to my side and looked up at him, bewildered.
“No, it’s a prayer chant,”
He answered sarcastically and turned his back to me, taking random clothes on the rack.
“Try these on,”
Without looking at me, he threw the clothes onto me, over my head and turned to face me.
“And no, this isn’t the right way to put on your clothes,”
He helped me to remove all the clothes on my head and was greeted by my pout.
“What’s with the face?”
“This tells others that I’m currently not happy,”
I pointed to my mouth. In reply to my sad face, he flicked his finger at my forehead.
“Yah! What’s that for?”
I rubbed my forehead and smacked his arm with my free hand.
“That tells you that you are currently 100% foolish, and that percentage will continue to increase over the years,”
“Other people say that I’m innocent,”
“Who are the ‘other people’?”
I was momentarily stumped. No one ever said that about me.
“They belong to the future,”
He furrowed his eyebrows.
“What?”
I tried to avoid eye contact with him but his stare just burns!
“Okay, okay! They belong to the distant future!”
I shouted at him, putting strong emphasis on the word ‘distant’.
“That’s a good girl,”
He pat my head and went off wandering in the shops, picking clothes that do not complement each other on purpose.
I stoned in my position.
Why did he feel so much like an older brother when he pat my head? He felt more like a boyfriend than someone I have a crush on.
I turned my body to face Yunho, whose back was facing me.
Maybe he just treats me as his younger sister. He may not have the same feelings towards me as I have for him.
He turned to me when he saw the reflection in the mirror. Like a teenager shy to face her puppy love, I immediately turned away and walked into the changing room, taking along all the clothes he threw at me earlier.
Jang Ri In, don’t let your imagination run wild and get your hopes up only to be crushed completely by your disappointment like the last time. He is after all Jung Yunho, he has a huge responsibility.
Don’t be selfish, he has many fans to be split up among with, he doesn’t have time for you. Remember Jang Ri In, the both of you will be bidding farewell in 3 days, don’t grow too attached to him or you’ll regret your decision to dismiss all the consequences.

So yeah, this chapter is going slow :D
And the focus is on YunIn/ RiHo (?)

this portion plays an important role in the later part of the story
