Bernice sat on the lounge watching TV and constantly eating snacks, she had been eating non-stop for the past few days and though she tried to control herself but found it extremely difficult to resist food. Myolie opened the door and walked inside with Jessica and Charmaine following behind her.
“Still eating?” Myolie asked holding up a chip packet.
Bernice took another bite, “I’m hungry…”
“Very unladylike,” Jessica criticised, “No one is going to want you if you keep on eating.”
“Moses wants me…” Bernice said confidently.
Charmaine sat next to Bernice and started eating too, “So how are things progressing with da… Moses…”
“Good, good, everything is going smoothly,” Bernice took another bite of chocolate, she suddenly felt a little uncomfortable. She got up and ran to the bathroom. Bernice stood at the sink, she felt like throwing up but nothing came out.
Bernice walked back out of the bathroom and sat back on the couch. Myolie grabbed some tea for her, “Have some tea. Told you not to eat so much.”
“I can’t help it, I just feel like eating,” Bernice took a sip of hot tea.
Charmaine sat closer to Bernice, worried about her health, “We’ll take you to the doctors tomorrow, just in case its something serious.”
Jessica sat back and shook her head, she had been examining Bernice’s behaviour and through experience she had come to a conclusion, “Though I disapprove of this but have you ever considered that you may be pregnant?”
Bernice and Myolie both widened their eyes, “Pregnant?”
Charmaine had totally forgotten about Bernice getting pregnant for her to exist. She quickly calculated with her fingers the months and it worked out right, “You really are pregnant!” Charmaine jumped up in excitement and started dancing around in circles.
“Wait,” Bernice pulled Charmaine back down, “how do you know that I’m pregnant?”
Charmaine quickly stopped; she couldn’t let Bernice know how she knew otherwise it might give away too much, “Well… um…”
Jessica saw Charmaine was struggling for answers, “Well your appetite has risen and you’re vomiting for no reason, that’s all the effects to pregnancy.”
“Yeh…” Charmaine agreed in relief.
“They do have a point,” Myolie added, “I’ll go to the doctors with you tomorrow, do you want to tell Moses?”
“Not yet, We’ll see if its true then tell him,” Bernice wasn’t sure what she would do if this was true, she wasn’t even sure that she wanted to have a baby right now.

*Grand Hotel, Office, 10:21am*
Tavia knocked on Kevin’s door and walked inside. Kevin was busily planning some major events for the hotel for the next few months, “What’s up?”
Tavia sat on the chair across from him, “Nothing, just on a break, so I’m seeing what your up to.”
“Why don’t you go and find Ron,” Kevin suggested as he flipped through some catalogues.
Tavia sighed, “I think he’s busy.”
Kevin was really curious about her relationship with Ron and remember Jessica’s little wonderment of them two being a couple, “Dai Gor is going to ask you a question, a very serious question. Do you like Ron?”
Tavia looked down at the table and started fidgeting with the displays on Kevin’s table, “What kind of a question is that?”
“So you do like him? I’ve always known that you liked him,” Kevin laughed a little seeing Tavia blush, “You love him don’t you?” Kevin laughed even louder.
“Dai Gor, that’s not funny…” Tavia glared at Kevin.
“Does he know?”
Tavia shook her head, “He thinks of me as a friend.”
“Why don’t you tell him? Too shy?” Kevin got up from his seat pulling Tavia up, “Dai Gor will tell him on your behalf. Come, we’ll do it now.”
Tavia swung her hand away, “Dai Gor, your so embarrassing, I don’t need my old brother to help me ask someone out.”
“Yeh, but look at you… how many years have you liked him, and there is no progression,” Kevin pulled Tavia up again, “Dai Gor will tell him for you.”
“Dai Gor, if you tell Ron, I swear I won’t talk to you ever again, I’ll tell him myself,” Tavia opened the door.
“Remember to tell him,” Kevin shouted as Tavia ran out of the office.
“What is wrong with Tavia?” Jessica asked giving Kevin a file.
Kevin smiled and took the file off her, “Just helping my sister out.”

*Outside Doctor’s Clinic, 11:30am*
Bernice and Myolie walked out of the doctor’s clinic both having totally different reactions.
“I can’t believe that you’re going to have a baby,” Myolie said clapping her hands together, “Ok, I’m going to be the babies godmother.”
Bernice walked beside the happy Myolie aimlessly, she didn’t know if her being pregnant was a good thing or not, “Um… I’m going to call Moses.”
“Oh yeh, have to tell the father, I bet he will be so happy,” Myolie looked at her watch, “I have to get back to work now, take care of yourself,” and ran to the bus stop.
Bernice dialled Moses number and waited for him to pick up, “Hello, Moses?”
Moses was still half asleep picked up the phone, “Bernice? What’s up?”
“Are you still sleeping? Um… I have something to tell you can you come out now?” Bernice asked.
“Yea sure, where are you? I’ll pick you up,” Moses jumped up fro his bed, “I’ll be there in like fifteen minutes.”
Bernice waited outside the doctor’s clinic and to her surprise Moses really did only take fifteen minutes. Bernice sat in Moses’s car quietly, while Moses began to drive.
Moses held onto Bernice’s hand, “What’s wrong? Not feeling well?”
“Moses… what do you think about little kids?” Bernice asked wanting to know how Moses felt.
“Kids?” Yeh, alright I guess. I mean to play with them for like an hour would be alright, otherwise I’d rather jump into a river than take care of kids. You know, kids these days are crazy, always jumping around and out of control,” Moses said and he turned a corner.
“Um… Does that mean you don’t want to have kids?” Bernice asked.
“Not right now,” Moses laughed a little, “Why are you asking?”
Bernice’s heart sunk right down the bottom, hearing Moses say stuff like that just made it harder for her to tell him, “So you just don’t want kids? Do you want to get married then?”
“What’s with all the questions about marriage and kids all of a sudden?” Moses asked a little confused.
Bernice didn’t know why but she suddenly got really angry, maybe it was her hormones playing up but she just felt so angry with Moses, “Stop the car!”
“What?”
“Stop the car now!” Bernice shouted.
Moses jammed on the breaks, stopping at the side of the road. Bernice unbuckled her seat belt and jumped out of the car and ran behind the car catching a taxi home. Moses didn’t even have time to catch her, at this point he felt so confused, “What’s wrong with her today?”

*Grand Hotel, Lunchroom, 12:41pm*
Moses strolled in the lunchroom where Raymond and Charmaine were on a break having lunch together. He walked in and sat next to Raymond and sighed really loudly.
Raymond looked up at Moses, “What’s wrong with you?”
“I think Bernice is angry at me,” Moses said drinking Raymond’s water.
Charmaine jumped up hearing her parents fighting, “What? Why?”
Moses gave Charmaine a weird look, “Why are you so concerned?”
Charmaine quickly sat back down, “Eh… because Bernice is my friend.”
“So why is Bernice angry at you?” Raymond asked taking his drink back from Moses.
“I don’t know, she started talking about babies and kids then she went on about marriage then she just got all angry and left,” Moses explained.
“Women, always giving us men such a hard time,” Raymond said with a cheeky smile as he looked over at Charmaine.
Charmaine pointed her finger at Raymond, “Watch what you’re saying Raymond Lam.” Charmaine though about what Moses said, it totally fitted with Bernice being pregnant, “I think Bernice is pregnant”
Moses paused for a long time and sat very still starring at Charmaine. Raymond flagged his hands in front of Moses and nudged him a little, “Oi.”
“Bernice is pregnant? How do you know?” Moses questioned a little lost.
“I just do,” Charmaine as she continued to eat.
“What are you going to do about it?” Raymond nudged Moses on the arm, “It’s your kid.”
Moses sat very still, “Let me think about it… let me think about it.”
Raymond glanced at his watch, “Hey, we have to go…” he said to Charmaine, he patted Moses on the shoulder, “Have fun thinking.”
Raymond walked out into the hallway with Charmaine. A few minutes later they received an order to clean a customers room. They both walked up to the room and knocked on the door.
“Housekeeping,” Raymond said knocking on the door.
The door opened, “Raymond Lam… looking good…” a female said smiling.
“Selena!!” Raymond shouted out hugging her, “When did you come back?”
Charmaine stood next to Raymond as he hugged this strange woman.

Thanks for reading.. couldnt update last night cos i was watching the TVB Award ceremony... which i must say was such a waste of time... the awards were just too predictable... and no Charray moments!!!
but anyways.. im over that!! back to my little story.. Selena is added into the story.. will she ruin our Charray?? (btw i actually like selena.. think she's cool).. and Bernice is pregnant with raging hormones towards Moses!!
