The weather in Hong Kong had been raining non-stop since the day Frankie left to go on his business trip. Raymond ran into the hotel, soaking wet. He took off his coat and brushed his hair dry, “As Dai Gor said, be the bigger man…”
Raymond ran upstairs to the locker room to get changed, just as he walked in Charmaine walked out. She saw Raymond but chose to ignore him again and walked straight pass him.
“Hey,” Raymond yelled out after her.
Charmaine turned around, “What?”
“Meet me at Star Club tonight, I have something to tell you,” Raymond informed her.
“I’ll see…” Charmaine turned back around and walked off with a slight smile on her face.
*Grand Hotel, Lobby, 12:30pm*
Bosco walked inside his now rivalry hotel to meet Myolie, ever since he started working at his own hotel he had changed his image and now he constantly wore suits. Bosco walked to the front desk where Myolie was busily at work.
He cleared his throat, “I’ll like to book a room.”
“No problems…” Myolie looked up and saw it was Bosco, she was so surprised and extremely happy to see him, “What are you doing here?”
“Here to have lunch with you. Are you on your lunchbreak yet?” Bosco asked.
Myolie glanced at he watch, “Yep.”
Bosco and Myolie walked towards the nearest restaurant, just as they reached the front door, Ron and Tavia had also arrived to have lunch.
“Hey,” Ron called out to the both of them.
“Hi,” Bosco shook Ron’s hand, “Lunch?”
Ron nodded his head, “Want to join us?”
Bosco looked over at Myolie for her approval, “Sure.”
“I need to use the bathroom, I’ll be back,” Myolie said as she walked towards the bathroom.
Ron’s phone started ringing, “Hello… I’ll be a minute, you guys go in first,” Ron walked to the side and continued his conversation.
Bosco being a gentleman let Tavia walk in first. Tavia walked inside and accidentally bumped into the waiter, knocking her phone out of her hand. At the same time, she and Bosco bent down to pick her phone and accidentally bumped their heads together.
“Sorry,” Tavia quickly got up rubbing her head.
Bosco smiled and picked her phone up, “Here…”
“Thanks,” Tavia took her phone back and walked towards the back of the restaurant. Tavia sat down across from Bosco, she had only met Bosco twice and both times she didn’t really talk to him, “So… I hear from Myolie that you quit you job as a police and now you’re helping out at your hotel.”
Bosco took a sip of water, “Yeh, ever since my Yi Gor passed away, I felt that I should help out with the family business.”
“So that means, you’re in the “enemies grounds”, would people think that your betraying your own hotel by coming here?” Tavia joked.
Bosco laughed slightly, “Don’t tell anyone…”
Ron and Myolie walked back into the restaurant and saw Tavia and Bosco really enjoying their conversation, they were laughing and chatting as if they were old friends, “Hope we’re not interrupting you guys,” Ron joked as he sat next to Tavia.
Myolie sat next to Bosco, “What are you guys talking about?”
“It’s out little secret, “ Bosco smiled and winked at Tavia.
Myolie looked up at Ron and the both of them shrugged their shoulders having no idea what they were on about.

*Ma Mansion, 7:24pm*
Bosco walked into the house, half soaked because of the rain. It had been a few days but the rain seemed to be getting heavier and heavier. He took off his coat and gave it to the housekeeper. “Where’s Dai Gor?”
“In the study room,” the housekeeper informed Bosco.
Bosco ran upstairs towards the study and heard Joe on the phone; he stood by the door and listened carefully.
“I want you to do it tonight,” Joe instructed over the phone, “Frankie Lam should be driving back tonight, I want you to fix it up now. I don’t want any mistakes.” Joe hung up the phone with a cunning smiled, “This will show Raymond Lam…”
Bosco took a step back, he didn’t have much of a reaction on his face, he stood really quietly and kept listening in.
Joe sat at his desk for another half an hour, he held onto his phone. He flipped his phone around twice before making another call, “It’s me… forget about what I just told you.”

*Westwood Apartment, 9:06pm*
Jessica finished showering and walked back into her room to see Charmaine lying on her bed with her feet up, without any notice she grabbed a ruler and smacked Charmaine’s legs, “Sit properly, what kind of a girl sits like this?”
Charmaine sat up right and looked at the time, she was meant to be meeting Raymond at this time but she still hesitated a little. Charmaine sighed loudly, trying to grab Jessica’s attention for some advice.
“Yes dear,” Jessica put some moisturiser on, she knew Charmaine was being indecisive about whether to see Raymond or not, “If you want to see him then go.”
“But I’m still angry at him,” Charmaine said crawling on her bed next to Jessica.
“Maybe he’s going to tell you that he is the one who is sorry,” Jessica pulled Charmaine’s arm making her sit straight, “You shouldn’t be angry at him for too long otherwise he might get stolen by other females. Plus your not getting any younger, if you are lucky you would have been married with at least five kids by now.”
Charmaine shook her head, “I know grandma,” she jumped up and quickly got changed, “I’ll be back later.”
“Don’t come home too late,” Jessica shouted out as she started sewing.

*Star Club, 9:37pm*
Raymond had been waiting outside the club for almost an hour, “Can’t believe she isn’t going to come,” he mumbled to himself as glanced at his watch. “If she doesn’t come then I’m going,” though that was what Raymond said but he had been saying that for the past hour and yet he was still standing there.
Raymond yawned loudly while he stretched his arms as he continued waiting for Charmaine. He felt a tapping on his shoulder and immediately thought it was Charmaine, “About time…” he turned around and saw in front of him was a half drunk Selena.
“Ray…” Selena said barely standing up right.
“What are you doing here?” Raymond asked, he saw that Selena had been drinking a bit and could barely stand.
Selena could barely stand straight, “I’m here to… to find you,” she said leaning on Raymond.
Raymond held her up right, trying to make her stand straight, “How’d you know I’m here?”
Selena fell back on Raymond, “Ray… why did we break up? We had fun together. Why are you with that Charmaine chick? What’s so good about her, she’s not as pretty as I am, she’s not as rich as I am…”
Raymond pulled Selena away, “Hey! Don’t insult Charmaine, you hear me?”
“But I’m so much better,” Selena leaned forward hugging Raymond and trying to kiss him.
Raymond tried dodging her, but she was just all over him. Charmaine walked up the street and stopped as she saw Raymond and Selena all over each other. At this point she was furious, seeing her boyfriend with another women just made her so angry and upset.
“Stop it!” Raymond shouted pushing Selena away, “Look, we’re over. There is nothing between us. I’m only going to treat you as a friend and that is all.”
Selena tried to hug Raymond again, “I know you still have feelings for me.”
Raymond pushed Selena away again, “I don’t, I have a girlfriend now. Charmaine, she’s my girlfriend and I love her very much. You hear that I said I love her,” Raymond emphasised the word love so Selena could understand.
Raymond shook his head seeing Selena like this, he turned around to leave and saw Charmaine standing directly in front of him, “Charmaine… um…”
Charmaine didn’t have much of a reaction but just stood at the same spot frozen. Raymond walked up to her and waved his hands in front of her face. She suddenly turned around and started running in the opposite direction. Raymond had no idea what was happening and ran after her.
“Charmaine… wait!” he shouted out.
Charmaine ran into a park. Raymond ran faster and finally caught up with her, he held onto her arm pulling her back, “What’s wrong? Did you see Selena hugging me? I swear she was coming onto me. I tried pushing her away. You have to believe me, I promise that I only love you.”
Charmaine froze hearing Raymond say that he loved her again, it was the first time someone actually said that to her, she wasn’t sure of how to respond to that, “Do you really… really mean it?”
Raymond smiled and held onto her hand, he pulled her in close to him and hugged her, “How many times do you want me to say it so you will believe I mean it? I love you… I love you…” Raymond kept saying, he lifted her up off the ground and spun her around, “I love you… I love you…!!” he shoulder out loudly.
Charmaine quickly used her hand and covered Raymond’s mouth, “Everyone can hear you.”
Raymond stopped the spinning and took her hand away, “So… I’ll say it even louder then, I love you!!”
Charmaine really wanted Raymond to stop shouting; she leaned forward and kissed Raymond softly on the lips, stoping him from shouting. Raymond felt like he was the luckiest guy, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders and kissed her back. The both of them were enjoying the moment but was cut off with Raymond’s phone ringing.
“Sorry,” Raymond picked the phone up quite annoyed, “Hello?”
“Hey Ray,” Frankie spoke on his bluetooth in the car, “Have you patched things up with Charmaine?”
“Sort of bad timing,” Raymond said smiling at Charmaine.
Frankie drove down the mountainside as the rain got heavier and heavier, “Why? What are you guys doing?”
Raymond had a cheeky grin to his face, “Charmaine and I were…”
Charmaine quickly hit Raymond on the arm, “Don’t tell him…”
Frankie laughed, “Tell Charmaine not to be shy, we’re going to be family soon anyways.”
“Dai Gor said that we’re going to be family soon,” Raymond still had his cheesy grin on his face, “Dai Gor, where are you? Are you coming back today?”
“I’m coming back now, I’m driving. I left the resort about forty minutes ago,” Frankie said as he kept driving down the winding road. The rain was now so heavier that Frankie could hardly see the road, he pressed on his breaks to slow down but there was not reaction to the breaks, “What the…”
“What’s wrong?” Raymond asked.
Frankie tried jamming on his breaks but he could stop, the car was out of control, Frankie tried steering but the slippery roads made it difficult. He tried to control the car but he couldn’t even see what was in front of him, he kept driving but a sudden force from the top of the mountain had pulled his whole car backwards, “Ahh!!!” as Frankie saw a landslide falling on top of his car.

Thanks for reading... well Raymond patched things up with Charmaine.. Selena did want Raymond back but that didnt work out... and Frankie is now in trouble.. will he be alright??
