Bernice hadn’t been back at this apartment for some time now; she really missed living here with the others. She sat on the couch and waited for Charmaine and Myolie.
“Here you are,” Charmaine handed her some tea, she sat next to her and rubbed her stomach, “Can you hear me?” she started talking to Bernice’s stomach. She suddenly felt a little silly since technically she is talking to herself.
Myolie sat on the other side of the Bernice and started to rub her stomach too, “You’re going to be the cutest baby when you’re born.”
“I know…” Charmaine accidentally blurted out.
Myolie looked weirdly at Charmaine, “How do you know?”
“Um…” Charmaine thought for a while, “Well… because she has a really pretty mother.”
Myolie and Charmaine kept rubbing Bernice’s stomach and talking to the unborn baby. Bernice seriously thought it was strange that after she gotten pregnant people can just start touching her.
“Why is it that people can just go around touching my stomach without my permission,” Bernice questioned also hinting for Myolie and Charmaine to stop.
Charmaine and Myolie got the hint and stopped. At the same time Jessica walked out of her room all dressed up for her first official date with Kevin.
“Wow! Very attractive…” Charmaine jumped up, “Aww… so pretty.”
Jessica looked down at her dress, “Really? Not to much, not to inappropriate?” she lowered her voice, “sure this is alright? You now I’ve never been on these date things before.”
Charmaine gave Jessica the thumbs up, “Perfection.”
A few minutes later the doorbell rang and Myolie opened the door. Ron was standing directly in front of her, “Hi.”
“Hi,” Ron smiled shyly.
“Come in,” Myolie let Ron in and was about to shut the door but was stopped by Moses.
“So you let Ron in and not us?” Moses joked pushing the door open, “he walked over to Bernice and sat next to her.
Raymond and Kevin followed behind Moses. Raymond stood next to Charmaine, “Hey…”
Charmaine smiled and held onto Raymond’s hand, “Hey…”
Kevin walked over towards Jessica with the biggest grin on his face, “You look… stunning.”
“Thanks,” Jessica kept her head down, slightly shy and also not use to the idea of dating.
“So Ron, why are you here?” Bernice blabbed out.
Ron quickly glanced at Myolie, “I…”
“Yeh, why are you here?” Moses questioned, “You have no reason to be here. I’m here for my wife, Raymond is here for Charmaine and Kevin is picking Jessica up. So again, why are you here?”
“I just felt like tagging along,” Ron kept glancing over at Myolie who was just sitting on the couch not paying too much attention to what was going on, “If you don’t want me here then I’ll go then.”
“Don’t be silly,” Jessica tried defending Ron, “These kids are just being mean.”
“Well, we’re all in pairs so Ron would just feel left out,” Raymond added nudging Charmaine’s arms.
“Yeh. Wait a minute, isn’t Myolie single as well, what a coincidence. Maybe you two can be together,” Charmaine tried not to sound too obvious.
Ron glared at both Raymond and Charmaine while Myolie was still a tad lost, “Yeh, maybe we can be together.”
“Um…” Ron was a little surprised that Myolie would actually say something like that, “you really mean it? You really want to be together with me.”
“Well everyone else has a partner so naturally if we had to do something in pairs you and I would be paired up,” Myolie said innocently still not realising that everyone was teasing the fact that Ron liked her.
Ron was slightly disappointed, “Oh… I’m going to go now.”
“So early?” Myolie asked.
“Yeh… it’s getting late,” Ron lied.
“We better get going too,” Kevin suggested to Jessica.
All three of them walked out the front door out of the apartment. Everyone left in the apartment immediately turned to Myolie and just stared at her. Myolie back a way feeling the hostility towards her.
“What?”
“Can you not sense that Ron likes you?” Moses question as he passed Bernice a drink.
“What?” Myolie had actually never thought of anything like that before.
Bernice took a sip of the drink, “Yeh, can’t you tell… everyone else can tell.”
Myolie felt rather stupid that she couldn’t sense the vibe that everyone else could feel, “What?”
“Yeh, he so likes you,” Charmaine added, “you guys are meant to be together, like a perfect match other than Bernice and Moses of course,” she said knowing that the two of them are together in the future.
Raymond cleared he’s throat loudly, “What about us?”
Charmaine smiled cheekily almost forgetting about Raymond and herself, “Yeh, us too.”
Myolie was still slightly confused, “How can that be? Ron never told me anything about him liking me.”
“That’s because he’s shy,” Moses took Bernice’s drink and took a large gulp, “let me ask you, is Ron always around when you’re sad or when you need help? Is he always defending you?”
Myolie thought really carefully, “I guess… but…”
“So, do you like him?” Charmaine asked eagerly, really wanting to know.
“I don’t know,” Myolie shrugged her shoulders, “I never thought about it.”
“Well think about it…” Charmaine seemed a little to enthusiastic about the relationship between Myolie and Ron that everyone else thought it was rather odd.
Bernice started yawning, Moses immediately saw and jumped up, “Let’s go home.”
“I want to stay a little longer,” Bernice pouted her lips wanting to stay and chat.
“No can do,” Moses helped Bernice up, “You know the rules, I’m in charge of looking after you and the baby and I say we go home and sleep.”
“Wow, indeed the true man of the house,” Raymond joked.
Charmaine rushed over and hugged her stomach, “Bye baby…”
Raymond’s eyes widened as he watched Charmaine, Moses leaned next to him and whispered, “Told you she wants a baby, good luck with that man…” he laughed and patted him on the back.
Raymond didn’t say anything but kept watching Charmaine, did she really want to start a family now, that thought just kept pondering over in his mind as he watched.

*Grand Hotel, CEO’s Office 9:34am*
Raymond and Moses flipped through the weekly sales report, “Sales a dropping drastically after the bomb attack,” Raymond showed Moses the reports.
“I thought you said that it wasn’t that bad,” Moses took the reports and had a quick scan.
“That’s what I thought too, but looks like Tourist Company’s are willing to pay money to end their contact early,” Raymond rubbed his eyes trying to think of what they could do to keep the customers.
Moses sat back on his chair and closed his eyes thinking of what they could do, “Are the other chains in the other countries affected?”
Raymond grabbed another folder and flipped through the reports, “A little, I guess the news about the bomb had spread internationally.”
Kevin and Ron rushed into Moses office holding a newspaper, “Hey, read this.”
Moses and Raymond read the front page of the paper, both shocked about what they were reading. Raymond grabbed the paper off Kevin and read it carefully.
“Joe’s been sent to the prison psychiatric hospital?” Raymond read on.
“Why?” Moses asked.
“It just said that he had a breakdown after admitting to being responsible for the death of…” Raymond clenched his fist, “for the death of Frankie Lam.” Raymond could feel the wrench of pain inside of him as he read the newspaper, “He was the one responsible for my brothers death… and now he’s gone crazy and he’s in jail, serves him right.”
Ron patted Raymond on the shoulder, “At least we know justice is on our side.”
“Wait, there’s more,” Kevin grabbed the remote off Moses table and switched the TV on, “Watch this.”
Moses, Raymond, Ron and Kevin sat quietly and watched the live coverage of Hotel Regal press conference.

*Hotel Regal, 9:45am*
The doors pushed open leading into the conference room. Bosco walked inside and down the middle of the aisle. Everyone in the room stopped and watched as he approached the table in front of the reporters. He sat down quietly in the middle of the table as his assistant stood up.
“Everyone may be aware of the situation of our current CEO Joe Ma, because of some issues he is unable to uphold the position of the CEO of Hotel Regal anymore. So as of today, the board of directors have elected Bosco to hold the rightful position of the CEO,” the assistant announced.
Bosco stood up, “Ever since my Yi Gor Steven Ma died in a car accident, my Dai Gor has been in a critical unstable state. The board of directors thought it would be best for me to uphold this position of Hotel Regal’s CEO.”
A reporter stood up, “Didn’t Joe Ma get sent to a metal hospital in prison.”
“Unfortunately he did, he’s mental state overpowered his ability to think right, so he did something that is unforgivable,” Bosco answered.
Another reporter stood up, “So what new approaches would Hotel Regal have now it’s under new management?”
Bosco chuckled a little, “I won’t be changing much and even if I do it will be for the benefit for all customers staying at out hotel. I promise that I will make this hotel better than what it was before.”

*Grand Hotel, CEO’s Office, 10:01am*
Moses and Raymond sat back on their chairs not really knowing how to react, “So Bosco’s the new CEO… is that good or bad?” Raymond asked.
“Bad!” Ron blurted out since he already had a biased opinion against Bosco because of the Myolie incident.
“I don’t think so…” Moses switched the TV off, “Bosco’s nothing like his other brothers.”
“I agree,” Kevin added, “this may actually be a good change.”
“I don’t know… it’s just weird that he can just become the CEO,” Ron was still sceptical about this whole situation.
“I guess it makes sense since he’s the only sane brother left in the family so naturally the position will be passed to him,” Kevin explained in logic.
Everyone seemed to think Bosco’s position was legitimate besides for Ron who was clearly showing prejudice towards him.
*Grand Hotel, Lobby, 12:24pm*
Tavia and Myolie were finishing off their work before going on their lunchbreak, “Myolie,” Tavia called out after her.
Myolie turned around, “Yeh?”
“Um…” Tavia really wanted to apologise for ruining the relationship between her and Bosco but she didn’t even know where to begin, “I’m…”
It had been a while since the incident occurred, Myolie smiled, “I know what you’re gong to say. It’s fine, really, I know relationships can’t be forced.”
“I’m really sorry,” Tavia never expected Myolie to be so accepting and understandable of the situation.
“It’s ok, sometimes things like this just can’t be controlled.”
Although Tavia still wasn’t sure of her position with Bosco but knowing that Myolie was so understanding made things so much easier. Ron walked down stairs and saw Myolie and Tavia chatting away. He thought to himself that if Myolie could forgive Tavia then he was in no position to be angry at his best friend.
“Hi,” he greeted the both of them, “Lunch?”
Tavia was thrilled that Ron had automatically talked to her again, “I’ll just grab my stuff and meet you back here.”
Myolie and Ron watched Tavia walked happily into the locker room. Myolie turned to Ron, “So what made you forgive her?”
Ron smiled, “You did,” and kept walking towards the restaurant area.
A sweet feeling appeared inside of Myolie, she was about to call Ron back but Bernice had appeared at the front door of the hotel. Myolie ran and helped her inside, “What are you doing here?”
Bernice rubbed her stomach, “The doctor changed our appointed to see her, so I’m meeting my hubby so he can take me. I called him already.”
A few minutes later Moses, Charmaine and Raymond appeared in the Lobby. Moses ran towards Bernice and held onto her, “You shouldn’t of come, I was going to go home and pick you up.”
“I’m fine,” Bernice kept emphasising, she looked over at Charmaine and Raymond, “Going somewhere?”
Raymond glanced sideways at Charmaine, “Charmaine said she wants to go to the check up with you guys.”
Moses looked up at Raymond with a cheeky smile.
Charmaine linked arms with Bernice and felt her stomach, “Yeh, just want to see how you and the baby are going,” she said thrilled about seeing herself in an ultrasound.
“You coming along?” Moses asked Raymond.
“I guess so…” Raymond had his mind set that Charmaine had some sort of baby fever so he wanted to tag along to see what she was up to.

*Gynaecologist Clinic, 1:48pm*
“Everything is going well, the baby is very healthy,” the doctor informed Bernice and Moses.
“That’s good to know” Moses held onto Bernice’s hand and looked at the ultrasound.
Charmaine stood in front of the monitor while Raymond stood at the back watching, “So cute…” she said referring to herself.
“Can we know the sex of the baby? Bernice asked.
Charmaine stood by the side knowing what that answer would be. The doctor looked carefully at the monitor and smiled, “It’s a boy…”
“What?” Charmaine shouted out in shock, “It can’t be a boy…”
