Charmaine’s phone beeped getting another voice message from Raymond and she listened to the message. She lifted her curtains slightly and saw Raymond still standing in the same position in the rain. It was heart breaking seeing him like this, she finally gave in and jumped up grabbing an umbrella.
Before Charmaine could leave the room Jessica walked back inside, “Are you going down?”
“I don’t know,” Charmaine turned back to her bed and looked outside the window at Raymond standing in the pouring rain, “He’s going to get sick.”
Jessica sighed, “It’s up to you but you know Moses wouldn’t like it,” She switched the light off, “Good night.”
Charmaine didn’t respond and just kept watching down at the street, the rain seemed to be getting heavier and heavier as time passed. Charmaine jumped off her bed and grabbed the umbrella as well as a jacket and left the apartment.
Raymond stood in the same spot and kept looking up at Charmaine’s apartment. He wiped the rain from his face and turned around and sat on the gutter at the side of the road. He shut his eyes for a while; he suddenly couldn’t feel the rain hitting his body. Raymond turned around and looked up to seeing Charmaine standing over him with an umbrella.
Raymond was thrilled to see Charmaine; he jumped up, “Charmaine…”
“Here…” Charmaine handed the jacket to Raymond.
Raymond took the jacket off Charmaine and held onto her hand, “Sorry.”
Charmaine didn’t say anything and just stared at Raymond.
“I know I shouldn’t have suspected you and Moses but I was worried, you hadn’t been the distant for such a long time I thought your feelings towards me had changed plus I didn’t know the confusing relationship between you and Moses,” Raymond shouted through loud rain banging on the umbrella. “And I really didn't mean to hit you, I didn’t realise how close you were.”
Charmaine still hadn’t said a word but kept looking at Raymond, in her heart she had already forgiven him but there was so many other factors to consider. Raymond pulled Charmaine towards him knocking the umbrella off her hand and hugged her tightly. Charmaine couldn’t help but lifted her arm about to hold onto Raymond.
Moses jumped out of his car and ran towards Raymond and Charmaine, he pulled Charmaine out of Raymond’s embrace, “Didn’t I tell you to leave her alone?”
“I just wanted to apologies,” Raymond explained to Moses.
“Or were you going to hit her again?” Moses asked sarcastically.
“Dad…” Charmaine pulled on Moses shirt trying to calm him down.
“It was an accident!” Raymond tried to reason with Moses, “you know that I would never hurt Charmaine on purpose.”
The three of them stood in the rain all having such mixed feelings inside, Moses grabbed onto Charmaine’s arm, “Let’s go…”
Raymond grabbed onto Charmaine’s other arm and tried to stop her from going back up but Moses pulled Charmaine back and pushed Raymond away, “Seriously, I don’t want my daughter to be with someone who can’t even trust her.”
Moses walked back into the apartment building with Charmaine leaving Raymond behind in the rain. She turned around and glanced at Raymond staring back at her, she really hated the situation she was in, she closed her eyes and turned back to the front and walked into the building.
Raymond could tell by the look in Charmaine’s eye that she still loved him very much; he only blamed himself for being so stupid as to not trust her.
Moses and Charmaine stepped into the elevator, “Dad, why are you so harsh on Raymond? You know that everything is just a misunderstanding.”
“That still doesn’t excuse his actions,” Moses said coldly pressing the button. Moses let out a little sigh, “I know it was an accident that he hit you and I also understand why he suspected us.”
“Then why are you still being so harsh with him?” Charmaine asked confused with Moses’s actions.
Moses looked at Charmaine, “Although I understand but it doesn’t mean that I approve and support his actions.”
Charmaine laughed a little seeing how fatherly Moses had become in such a short period of time, “Wow dad, you sound like those fathers that won’t let me date anyone unless you approve of them.”
“Now you know how strict I can get,” Moses said with confidence.
“Dad, I’ve been living with you for twenty-eight years, I know how you are,” Charmaine let out another sigh, “Dad, I really like Raymond. I want to be with him but if I let him know that I forgive him and want to be with him again then its going to be so hard for the both of us when I go back.”
“Then I guess what happened between you two was a good thing?” Moses asked.
Charmaine shrugged her shoulders and stood quietly, she suddenly turned around, “Don’t be so harsh on him, you still have to make sure of his safety.”
“I just want to show him that’s what he gets for not trusting me,” Moses patted Charmaine on the shoulder, “Don’t worry, he still is my best friend and I don’t want him to die.”
“Thanks,” Charmaine smiled slightly but deep inside she hated not being able to see Raymond the same way again.
“Oh yeh,” Moses almost forgot, “When you have time go visit your mother, she’s been quiet down lately.”
“I thought she was fine.”
“She was just keeping it in,” Moses walked out of the elevator, “she really needs us now. Ok, time for bed, don’t think too much.”
Charmaine walked back into her apartment and ran straight to the window and looked outside to see if Raymond was still there. He was still standing outside as the rain continued the pour on his body. He took a last glance at her window then turned around walking down the street leaving her apartment.

*Cemetery, 9:03am*
Bosco stood in front of Tavia’s tombstone holding a bunch of her favourite flowers. This was the first time he visited her after her death, he placed the flowers down and took his sunglasses off and sat down beside the tombstone. He didn’t say a word but just sat there staring at her picture, all he could think of was how he let go of her hand.
At this time Ron and Myolie walked towards Tavia’s grave holding the same flowers she liked. Although Ron had recovered but this lost of his was just too much for him to handle and if it wasn’t because of Kevin’s words and Myolie’s support he would have broken down and never gotten back up.
Myolie held on to his hand and kept walking with him and stopped seeing Bosco next to Tavia’s grave, “Ron…”
Ron looked up and saw Bosco, he really couldn’t help himself and ran over, “What are you doing here?” Ron yelled.
Bosco placed his sunglasses back on and stood up, “I’m here to visit my dead girlfriend.”
Ron picked up Bosco’s flowers and threw them back in Bosco’s face, “You have no right to be here! If it wasn’t because of you, Tavia wouldn’t have committed suicide!”
Myolie kept holding onto Ron’s hand trying to calm him down as well as hold him back, “Ron…”
Bosco shook his head with a smirk on his face, “It is a pity she committed suicide,” his words were full of sarcasm, Bosco leaned in very close to Ron, “or was it suicide?” he moved back and laughed really loudly in Ron’s face.
Ron wanted to go forward and attack Bosco but Myolie held him back and pulled him away, “Let’s go…” she looked over at Bosco as she and Ron walked away, it was only then she realised that there was no turning back for him.
Bosco kept laughing, he found it just so funny that he could control the fate of so many people. He took out his phone and dialled a number, “Are they there yet?”

*Pier side, 10:15am*
Kevin walked alongside of Jessica as they walked down towards the pier where many boats were parked along the shore. Since Jessica only had only a short period of time before she had to go back, Kevin had promised her that he would take her around Hong Kong.
“Have you ever been sailing?” Kevin asked as he walked towards a cruising yacht at the furthest end of the pier.
Jessica followed next to him, “Cheuk Hei did say he was going to take me but that never happened.”
Kevin smiled and stopped at a yacht that he rented out for the day, “How would you feel about joining me?”
“Really?” Jessica asked slightly scared since she had never gone out to sea before, “Is it safe? Will it sink or anything?”
Kevin laughed, “It’s pretty sturdy,” he jumped on the yacht and held out his hand, “Come on, it will be fun. I promise.”
Jessica was a little hesitant but since Kevin had planned everything for her last few days and built up her courage and grabbed onto his hand stepping onto the yacht. As soon as Jessica stepped on the yacht she could feel the slight motion of the boat rocking back and forth, she should hardly get her balance but because she didn’t want to disappoint Kevin’s hard work she tried really hard to hold it in.
Kevin grabbed her hand and led her down into the boat, “Just put your bag in here.”
Jessica stumbled into the room and placed her bag on the table, she shook her head a little to try and regain balance. Kevin clapped his hands together, “OK, let’s start sailing…”
Both Kevin and Jessica turned around to walk back out onto the deck when suddenly the door leading outside slammed shut. Kevin walked towards the door and tried to open it from the inside but it wouldn’t budge. He tried pushing it again but it still didn’t move.
“What’s going on?” Jessica asked not being able to stand anymore.
“I don’t know…” Kevin could hear really faint rattling noises coming from outside the door, he placed his ear next to the door and the rattling noises had become clearer.
“Hurry up…” one of the men outside accidentally slipped out.
“Shut up, not so loud,” the other man whispered back trying to get the guy to be quiet.
Kevin kept listening carefully but the noises suddenly stopped, he tried pushing the door open again but it still didn’t budge. Suddenly he felt the yacht begin to move.
Jessica stood up feeling even worse now that the yacht was moving, “Kevin, what’s happening?”
“I don’t know,” Kevin jumped on the seat next to the window and looked outside but because the room was under the deck he could only see what was happening from that eye level. The only thing he could see was that the yacht was beginning to move out of the pier, “We’re sailing out…”
“But how? I thought you had to control the boat for it to move,” Jessica was so confused as well as having motion sickness at the same time.
Kevin knew something fishy was going on, he walked towards the door and tried to kick the door down, although it moved slightly but the chains chaining it up kept it locked. Kevin ran to the windows again and tried to open them up but he wasn’t able to do that either, “Come on!”
Jessica could feel the motion of the yacht moving fast and her head began to spin around even more as she dropped onto the chair. Kevin turned around to see how difficult it was for Jessica handle the motion sickness. He ran to the fridge and grabbed some cold water, “Here, have some water,” he fed her a little water.
Jessica took a sip, “I need some fresh air…”
Kevin started banging on the door, “Let us out!” he kept banging and kicking the door but because of the fast motion of the boat he fell back not being able to keep his balance. At this point there was nothing Kevin could do but he suddenly felt the yacht come to a stop, he ran towards the window and browsed the surroundings outside. All he could see was just the sea, nothing else but the sea.
Kevin’s phone started ringing, “Hello.”
“Mr. Cheng…” a familiar voice said on the other side of the phone.
Kevin recognised the voice immediately, “Bosco Wong!” he yelled into the phone, “What the hell do you want?”
Bosco chuckled a little, “Oh nothing, just want to chat with you. That’s what Tavia would of wanted, for us to get along.”
“Don’t talk to me about Tavia,” Kevin shouted, it mad him so angry that Bosco mentioned Tavia, “If it wasn’t because of you she wouldn’t of died.”
“True…” Bosco was so cocky in his answer, “If I didn’t let go of her hand when she was on top of that building then she would of lived,” Bosco laughed loudly in Kevin’s ear.
Kevin almost dropped the phone hearing what Bosco had just said, he knew that Bosco had something to do with Tavia’s death but he didn’t know it was that direct, “How can you…”
“Enough about that…” although Bosco made it seem like he didn’t care for Tavia’s death but initially he did and he didn’t want anyone to bad mouth his treatment towards her, “I called you for one reason and was the let you know that you will die very soon.”
“What?” Kevin had seriously thought Bosco had gone crazy.
“Last time in the hotel you and Jessica didn’t get blown up, luck was on your side but what about this time?” Bosco sat on the deck of his boat hundred of metres away overseeing Kevin’s yacht, “Will luck be on your side again? I’ve placed a bomb on the boat and when I hang up it will explode in ten minutes.”
Kevin was sweating with fear not believing he had to face a bomb for the second time with Jessica, “Why are you even telling me? Why not just blast me to death?”
Bosco laughed, “Because I like you Kevin, your smart. I want to give you a chance plus your Tavia’s brother.”
“You’re one sick man you know that,” Kevin yelled trying knock the door down.
“No time insulting me Kevin, you only have ten minutes. Tick tock Kevin, tick tock,” Bosco hung up the phone laughing as watched the clock begin to count down.
