Moses and Charmaine stayed with Jessica until the morning. Although Jessica was fine but it was advised that she took some rest.
“Hope everything is ok now,” Jessica said sitting up from her bed.
Moses stood up and stretched his arms tired from the hectic night, “Should be fine now. I mean Bosco is finally under custody and I doubt the police will let him be bailed out and even if he can, they still can hold him for interrogation for forty-eight hours and by that time, you two will be long gone.”
Moses, Charmaine and Jessica all just had realised that the day for them to return back to where they originally came from had almost come. In two more days Charmaine and Jessica would have to go back to the past and future.
“How is Kevin doing?” Charmaine asked.
“He’s still hasn’t woken up yet,” Jessica told Moses and Charmaine.
“Hope he’s ok,” Moses sat back down then suddenly stood back up again, “Wait a minute, if he doesn’t wake up in time how are you two going to go back to the past and future since he seems to be the only one who knows how to get you two back.”
Jessica and Charmaine both looked at each other in strife, this was their only chance to not mangle with history permanently, “I guess we can only pray that he will wake up in time,” at this point Jessica was actually more concerned about Kevin’s health than anything else.
Moses, Charmaine and Jessica all walked towards Kevin’s hospital room all praying hard in their head that their friend will pull through. Kevin was actually hooked onto a life support machine. It was heart breaking for Jessica to see Kevin like this. She felt so bad and guilty that Kevin was lying on that bed, not knowing whether he would be able to make it through. He was so innocent in this whole situation being not even part of the Cheuk family and knowing that he would never be with Jessica.
Jessica walked inside and sat next to Kevin and held onto his hand giving him warmth and comfort, “You can do this…”
Moses and Charmaine watched from the outside, it was a saddening image that Kevin was in this situation. Like Jessica they also felt that Kevin was so unlucky to stand in between feud between the two families. The three of them waited for a hours until it was dark again, hoping that Kevin would wake up. Time passed by very slowly and Jessica hadn’t let go of Kevin’s hand this whole time, she suddenly felt a bit of pressure on her hand. Jessica sat up properly and looked over at Moses and Charmaine flagging them to come in.
Kevin slowly opened his eyes to see Jessica, Moses and Charmaine staring at him, “What are you all looking at? Never seen a good looking guy before?” he joked.
“I guess you’re fine since your joking,” Moses laughed, “this will teach you to sail again.”
“Yeh,” Kevin laughed a little which started to make his wound hurt.
“Moses, don’t joke with him,” Jessica slapped Moses on the leg warning for him to stop making Kevin laugh.
Moses looked at the time and turned to Charmaine, “Hey, I’m going to see your mother.”
“I’ll come with you. Guess I will have to say goodbye to her before I leave,” the look on Charmaine face was obviously sad but she would at least get to see her when she went back to the future.
Moses and Charmaine walked to Bernice’s room and knocked on the door. They both waked in, “Hey,” Bernice greeted, “What are you doing here Charmaine?”
Charmaine could feel her tears building up, “um… I’m just here to say goodbye.”
“Where are you going?” Bernice sat up a little; she really felt use to the fact of having Charmaine around all the time.
“Jessica and I are leaving, we’re going back home,” Charmaine could help but to shed a tear but she still tried so hard to keep her emotions in.
“It was really great meeting you,” Bernice smiled.
Charmaine couldn’t help herself and hugged Bernice, “I’m going to miss you.”
Bernice patted her on the head, “Don’t be like this, you will visit right? Or Moses and I can visit you.”
Charmaine sat up and wiped her tears from her cheek and smiled, “I guess so…” she lied knowing that will never happen.
Moses pulled on Charmaine’s shirt, “you have get going now to pack.”
Charmaine stood back up, “Bye Bernice,” and walked out the door with Moses behind her, “I’m going to miss mum so much.”
“Silly,” Moses laughed, “You’re going to see her in the future. We have to get back to Kevin’s room to discuss what’s going to happen.”

*Grand Hotel, 9:06pm*
Although Raymond was determined to forget about Charmaine, he found it so hard to do so. Everything around him just reminded him of Charmaine, they had so many memories in this hotel, starting from when they met and hated each other till being forced to work with each other in housekeeping till eventually becoming friends then falling in love.
Raymond shut his eyes not being able to concentrate on his work. He opened the top drawer on his desk and took out the ring he wanted to give her. He knew that this day would never come, he had hurt her too much and there was no turning for them. Raymond turned his lamp off and stood up walking out of the room, placing the ring in his pocket.

*On the Street, 9:38pm*
Raymond walked aimlessly along the street. At this point he didn’t know where he could go. He couldn’t find Charmaine anymore and he couldn’t find Moses because he was angry with him so the only thing he could do was to walk around the streets. Raymond walked into a convenient store and bought a snack to eat.
He suddenly heard a familiar name from the TV playing in the store. Raymond walked closer to the TV and watched the news segment that was playing.
“Bosco Wong, CEO of Hotel Regal was taken into custody with attempted murder by the Hong Kong Police however only hours after the arrest he had escaped from the police car that was transporting him to the police station. An officer was found unconscious on the side of the road with his gun missing. Bosco Wong is now a wanted fugitive, if anyone had any information with where he is please contact the Hong Kong Police.”
Raymond listened really carefully to what the news reported had said. He knew Bosco wasn't good but he didn’t know he was bad to that extent, “I wonder who he tried to kill?” Raymond walked out of the store thinking who Bosco hated enough for him to kill.

*Hospital, 11:10pm*
Even though Moses, Jessica and Charmaine weren’t suppose to be in the hospital so late but they stayed there anyways.
“So how do we get back?” Jessica asked Kevin.
“I’ve got it figured out,” Kevin sat up a little with his wound still hurting, “Tomorrow night we will go back to where Jessica landed and once the eclipse appears there should be a portal which will open. Then you two will just have to walk through the portal to return home.”
“Is that it?” Moses asked thinking it was a bit to simple.
“I think so, from what I’ve read this is the highest possibility,” Kevin explained hoping he was right, “So when we’re there…”
“Did you say we?” Jessica asked, “Your not going to coming with us right?”
“Why wouldn’t I be? I’m the only one who is clear on this,” Kevin said.
“Your hurt though,” Jessica insisted Kevin on not going, “You can’t go.”
“You can’t stop me,” Kevin was firm with his words, “I won’t rest peacefully until I see you both gone safely.”
Moses knew that nothing was going to stop Kevin, “Just let him go grandma.”
“Fine,” Jessica said.
“So all we have to do now is wait,” Charmaine said thinking about what else she had left to do before she had to go. The only thing left on her mind was Raymond but she knew she couldn’t see him otherwise she would find it so hard to leave him.

*Harbour Side, 9:48pm*
As usual Raymond would go for his nightly stroll around Hong Kong after a long day at the hotel. He walked to the harbour side and stood near the railing looking over the view and the water flowing peacefully. Raymond took out the ring he wanted to give to Charmaine, he had been carrying it around not really knowing what to do with it. He took out the ring from the case and gazed at it for a long time.
He knew that there was no turning back between him and Charmaine, Raymond clenched onto the ring and took a step back. He sung his arm in the air ready to throw the ring into the ocean but stopped seeing a familiar figure from the corner of his eye.
Raymond looked carefully at the person, “Bosco Wong…” although Bosco wore a hat but Raymond could recognise him still.
Bosco rushed along the harbour side to the main road. Raymond put the ring back in his pocket and followed Bosco into a dark deserted alleyway. Raymond hid behind a dumpster and was quiet, trying not to make any noise so Bosco wouldn’t notice him.
“Did you find out where they would be?” Bosco asked.
Raymond looked over and saw that the person Bosco was talking to was in fact Sammul, “At the Peak. Will you be able to catch them?”
Bosco laughed loudly, “Oh I will catch them and I will kill them.”
Raymond still didn’t know who Bosco was talking to but kept listening hoping for clues.
“Why do you hate them so much?” Sammul asked.
“No reason, I just do,” Bosco took his cap off his head and rubbed his head then placed it back on, “If I kill Charmaine and Jessica then the Cheuk family will be forever gone.”
Raymond’s eyes widened hearing that all this time Bosco had wanted to kill Charmaine and Jessica.
“What do they have to do with the Cheuk family?” Sammul asked.
“Too many question from you,” Bosco reached behind his back and without any hesitation he pulled out a gun and shot Sammul point blank in the head.
Raymond couldn’t believe what he had just saw, he stood up slowly and ran out of the alleyway hoping he could find Charmaine to warn her. From the corner of Bosco’s eyes he had already seen Raymond; he smiled to himself not worrying a bit.

*The Peak Mountain Side, 10:14pm*
Charmaine, Jessica, Moses and Kevin waited patiently for the eclipse to appear.
“Do you think this will really work?” Charmaine asked eager to know.
“We can only hope,” Kevin said sitting down on a log.
Moses kept pacing the in front of Kevin and Jessica, “Can you stop Moses?” Jessica asked getting dizzy from his pacing.
“It’s nerve racking grandma,” Moses said still pacing.

*Outside Westwood Apartment, 11:10pm*
Raymond jumped out of his car and ran buzzed on the intercom to Charmaine’s apartment but there was no answer, “Come on…”
He took a step back and looked into their apartment but all the lights were switched off. He took his phone out and rang Charmaine again but her phone was still switched off. Raymond was beginning to panic; he really didn’t know what Bosco would do to her. He ran back to his car and headed towards the Peak, although he didn’t know what time they would be there but he took a chance.

*The Peak Mountain side, 11:55pm*
“It’s almost midnight,” Kevin looked at his watch, “Once it hits midnight and the eclipse appears then the portal will open, I don’t know for how long but I’m going to assume for the period of the eclipse which will be only for a few minutes.”
Jessica looked over at Kevin, she held onto his hand and smiled, “Thankyou for everything, I won’t forget you.”
Kevin placed his hand on Jessica’s, “I won’t forget you either.”
Charmaine hugged Moses tightly, “I’m going to miss you dad.”
“I’ll see you in the future later, hopefully I will remember everything,” Moses was starting to feel his eyes watering, even though he knew he would still see her soon but it was just so different being with her now, “Ok, don’t make your dad cry now.”
Charmaine let go of Moses and walked up to Kevin, “Thanks Kevin,” and gave him a hug.
Jessica walked up to Moses and stood in front of him, “Moses Cheuk, promise me to take care of this family.”
“Don’t worry grandma, I won’t let you down,” Moses assured her.
The clock struck twelve midnight; the wind started blowing as a shadow appeared over the moon. As the shadow slowly covered the moon a bight light shone from the moon down towards where they were standing. A portal slowly appeared right in front of them.
“Do we go in together?” Charmaine asked Kevin.
Kevin thought quickly about it, “No, let Jessica go in first, otherwise you might end up in the past.”
Charmaine hugged Jessica tightly, “It was great meeting you grandma, I will always remember what you have taught me.”
“I’m very proud to have a granddaughter like you, take care of yourself,” Jessica patted Charmaine on the back.
Jessica stood in front of the portal and looked back at Kevin and Moses, “Bye,” she closed her eyes and took a step forward into the portal. The portal suddenly changed colour as it sucked Jessica in.
“My go,” Charmaine said, she shut her eyes about to step into the portal but stopped hearing someone calling her name. Charmaine turned around and saw Raymond sprinting in their direction.
“Charmaine!” Raymond ran as fast as his legs could take him, “Watch out!” Raymond finally reached them. He could hardly catch his breath as he looked around, “Where is he?”
“What are you doing here?” Moses asked hastily.
“Bosco Wong…” Raymond panted, “He’s going to kill… Charmaine…”
“Even if he is, it’s going to be too late,” Kevin told Raymond, “she will be going back to the future now.”
Hearing those words where like a jab in Raymond’s heart, “You’re leaving forever?”
A tear dropped from Charmaine’s eye as she stared him in the eyes, “Yes…”
Raymond finally realised why she broke up with him, he knew exactly why she did all those things she did. Initially it was because she wanted him to forget her. Before Raymond could say another word a gunshot was fired in the air.
Moses, Charmaine and Kevin ducked down as a natural reflex. A roar of laughed followed the gunshot, all three of them looked up to see Bosco standing behind Raymond, pointing the gun to his head. Charmaine was terrified by what she saw, the images of Bosco killing Raymond appeared back into her head, except this time it wasn't just images.
