“Did you just call me mum?” Bernice asked.
Charmaine stood in front of Bernice frozen of all thoughts and actions, she was speechless and had only a spilt second to think of an excuse, “I called you ‘Mum…ica, Monica…’” Charmaine lied rephrasing her sentence.
“That’s not even my name.”
“Oh…” Charmaine looked down onto the ground feeling quite awkward, “Well have fun at work.”
Bernice raised an eyebrow then left the apartment. Charmaine took a deep breath, relieved that the moment had passed. As she was just about to sit down and have breakfast she heard a yelling from her room.
Charmaine jumped up and ran to her room, she opened the door and saw Hsuan Huan yelling, “I’ve been waiting for someone to help me wash up, why hasn’t anyone come yet?”
“Look grandma….” Charmaine began to say.
Hsuan Huan interrupted her, “Ah… first of all I haven’t admitted to the fact that you are my descendent and second of all even if you do call me it should be great, great, great grandma.”
“Such a mouth full though, great, great, great grandma,” Charmaine thought about it a little further, “I also think it’s a good idea to change your name to something easy.”
Hsuan Huan was offended by the request, “Your asking me to change my name? How disrespectful, if Cheuk Hei was here, he would have you sent to prison.”
Charmaine was now use to Hsuan Huan sending her to prison so she just played along with it, “I highly doubt my great, great, great grandpa will do that to me.”
“That’s General Cheuk Hei to you at the moment,” Hsuan Huan sat at the side of the bed, “I’m not changing my name.”
“Not changing it, but just giving you an alias. You don’t want anyone to find out your royal do you? People might come and attack you,” Charmaine seriously thought what she was saying was ridicules.
Hsuan Huan thought about it, “Fine, but I’m choosing my own name.”
Charmaine started listing a bunch of names off the top of her head, “How about Karen?”
Hsuan Huan had the most disgusted look to her face, “No…”
“Anita? Angela? Donna? Christine? Sarah? Gladis” Charmaine listed out.
Hsuan Huan disapproved of all the names, “What kind of names are these?”
“What about Jessica?” Charmaine asked.
“Jessica… I like it.”
“So from now on I’ll call you Grandma Jessica,” Charmaine clapped her hands together.
“Stop trying to relate yourself to me, until I find more evidence that you are related to me then you can call me Grandma Jessica.”

*Grand Hotel, 10:32am*
Kevin, Ron and Frankie stepped into the Grand Hotel. Frankie looked at his watch, “Kevin, check the sales for today. I think there was a mistake with one of the tourist groups bookings.”
Kevin took out his PDA, which contained a lot of confidential information, that he had to take care of, “The sales department sent me a notice about that and I’ve noted it down. I’ll check with the front desk,” and walked towards the front desk.
Frankie and Ron continued walking towards the elevator, “Is Moses coming in for the meeting today?” Frankie asked.
Ron pressed the up button and waited, “He said that he has something to do, so he can’t make it.”
The elevator door opened, Frankie and Ron stepped inside, “We should be able to handle it.”
The elevator stopped, Frankie and Ron walked out into the office. Frankie’s secretary Selena stood up, “Morning Mr. Lam, Mr. Cheuk… um…”
“What is it?” Frankie asked.
“Mr. Ma is waiting in the conference room,” she said.
Frankie looked at Ron, the both of them didn’t know what he was doing here and headed straight to the conference room. Ron opened the door to see Joe Ma sitting at the head of the conference table drinking a cup of coffee.
“What are you doing here Joe Ma?” Ron asked coldly.
Joe placed his cup on the table with a smirk on his face, he looked over to see only Frankie and Ron, “Where’s Moses? Not in again I’m assuming?”
“What’s it to you if he is in or not?” Ron tried defending Moses.
Joe stood up and adjusted his tie, “Such a useless man, if it wasn’t for you two I think this hotel would have been bankrupted along time ago.”
If it one thing Ron hated, it was people insulting his family. He moved a little closer to Joe but Frankie pulled his back, “Is there anything we can help you with?”
“I came here to discuss something with your CEO but since he’s not here then forget about it,” Joe walked towards the door and stopped in front of Ron and Frankie, “I wouldn’t stay in this dump if I were you, helping that pathetic Moses is just wasting your time. I have positions vacant at my hotel,” then left the conference room.
“I hate that guy,” Ron said angrily.
Frankie sighed and patted Ron on the shoulder, “Let’s just get ready for the meeting.”

*Lam Mansion, 7:03pm*
Raymond sat on the lounge reading the comic section of the newspaper as Frankie walked through the front door.
“Did you buy a new car?” Frankie asked Raymond straight away.
Raymond put the paper down, “Yep, did you see it. Latest model out, going for a spin with Moses later.”
Frankie took his tie off, “Ray, you should seriously stop spending money. You only bought your other car a few weeks ago.”
“Yeh, but this is the latest model. I can’t go out driving an old model car, what are people go to think of me? That I’ve run out of money?” Raymond boasted in confidence.
“If you’re going to keep wasting money then I’ll cut you off and make you earn your money,” Frankie threatened.
Raymond yawned loudly on purpose, “I’ve heard that so many times, and how many times do I have to emphases that working is for stupid people,” Raymond jumped up and grabbed his keys, “I’m off now.”

*Moon Club, 9:21pm*
Charmaine had decided to show Jessica the Hong Kong culture, and what better way to start then to show her Hong Kong’s nightlife. She pulled Jessica in front of Moon Club.
Jessica was shocked seeing this place crowded and women dressed in short skirts and small tops, “This place is despicable.”
“Your living in the twenty-first century now, I’m not saying that you have to wear what they wear or do what they do but you have to get use to the fact that in today’s world women do dress like this,” Charmaine pointed out.
Jessica covered her eyes as a couple walked passed her fully holding onto each other, “Shocking! I demand you to take me away now.”
“Fine…” Charmaine turned around about to leave but just as she took a step forward Raymond who was behind her put his foot down, resulting in Charmaine stepping on him.
“Watch where you’re going!” Raymond yelled. He looked up and noticed it was Charmaine, “Oh… you again? Here to scam more money off me?” Raymond took a closer look at Charmaine, now that she was in clean clothes and with her hair done properly; he actually thought she was quite attractive.
“Do you want me to kick you again?” Charmaine threatened.
Raymond smiled and took a step forward standing uncomfortably close to Charmaine. His face was only an inch away from hers. He didn’t say anything but just stared at her.
Charmaine wasn’t going to lose out and back down; her piercing eyes stared back at him, “What are you looking at?”
Raymond had a grin to his face and moved even closer to her, be fore he could take any further action someone had called out to him from behind.
“Ray,” Moses yelled out.
Charmaine looked pass Raymond, she completely froze as she saw a young Moses walking towards them.
Raymond back away, “Hey Moses, about time you showed up.”
Moses raised an eyebrow and looked Charmaine and Jessica up and down, “Who are they?”

Thanks for reading!! now Charmaine has met her father.. who is totally different to him in the later years.. and Frankie trying to threaten Raymond.. trying to cut his spending, not really working.. Raymond doesnt even take him seriously...
