“Who are they?” Moses asked Raymond as he eyed both Jessica and Charmaine up and down.
“That’s the homeless chick that kicked me,” Raymond pointed to Charmaine, “And that’s her friend I guess.”
Charmaine never thought she would meet her father in the present time, he seemed to be the same nice guy she knew of, “Hi.”
Moses didn’t say anything and turned back to Raymond, “Just give her money so she can leave, she’s blocking the door.”
Raymond stepped forward in front of Charmaine, “You hear that? Get out of the way.”
Charmaine was shocked to her very core; the Moses she knew was not like that. He was kind, caring and not money driven. Moses took out his wallet and took out a stash of cash and held it in front of Charmaine.
“Take it and leave,” he kept holding the money up but Charmaine didn’t budge.
Jessica had never seen such a rude man before; she couldn’t help but to step forward, “Young man, do not be so arrogant, other wise I will get Cheuk Hei to send you to prison.”
Charmaine quickly pulled Jessica back, trying to make her stop talking. Moses stepped back impressed, he’d never met anyone who actually talked back to him like that.
Raymond stepped forward in front of Charmaine and smiled at her, he moved closer and leaned placing his head next to Charmaine. She felt so uncomfortable with Raymond standing so close, but she couldn’t back down and eyed him. Raymond leaned even closer with a smirk on his face then shouted out loudly in her ear, “Get out of the way!” and shoved her to the side walking into the club.
Moses walked passed both Charmaine and Jessica, he held out his hand with the money and dropped it in front of them before entering the club.
Jessica was furious, “I’ll show him,” she was about to chase after him but Charmaine pulled her back again. Jessica swung Charmaine’s arm away, “Why are you stopping me?”
Charmaine sighed, “That’s my father…”
“That would make him my great, great grandson?” Jessica almost fell, shocked that her descendents have turned out this way, “I can’t let him be like this, how would Cheuk Hei feel if he knows his descendents have turned out like this. This is a disgrace to the family name. Unacceptable, just unacceptable!”
Although Charmaine agreed with Jessica but thought she was a little over dramatic. She couldn’t understand why her father was so different; his actions were just so arrogant.
Just as Raymond and Moses entered the club, Steven Ma walked in from the back. All three of them stopped and glared at each other. The hatred in Steven started to steam up once he saw Raymond, he always felt that Raymond was a threat to him but that was the truth. From studies to chasing girls Steven had always lost to Raymond.
Steven walked forward towards them, “Raymond…”
Raymond had always looked down on Steven, because he thinks highly of himself, he would never take anyone below him seriously, “You’re in my way Steven…”
“So what if I am?” Steven snipped back at Raymond.
Raymond shook his head and laughed, “See… the thing is, if you were worthy standing in front of me then I’ll let you be in my way. But since your someone who always loses, then you can just scram away.”
Steven didn’t budge but kept eyeing Raymond.
“Nothing to say? No come backs?” Raymond shook his head, “Once a loser, always a loser.”
Steven clenched his fist but tried to calm himself remembering his brothers words that he shouldn’t react so impulsive. He turned around and walked back to the sofa.
“Lost to you again Ray,” Moses said loudly so Steven could hear.
Raymond looked over at Steven and laughed before sitting on the opposite side of the club.
Moses sat across from Raymond, “What's up with you and that chick just then?”
“Talking about that homeless chick? I guess she can’t resist my good looks,” Raymond boasted jokingly.
Moses felt like throwing up hearing Raymond complement himself like that, “I going to the bathroom,” and got up heading towards the hallway.
Raymond took a sip of his drink and looked around. Steven kept watching Raymond, just seeing his face made him even more angry. Steven lean forward and whispered to one of his friends. He friend nodded his head and got up walking in Raymond’s direction. Steven leaned back ready to watch the show. Steven’s friend walked casually towards Raymond acting a little drunk, his steps were uneven, as he walked next to Raymond and purposely tripped falling on top of Raymond.
“What the hell are you doing?” Raymond shouted pushing him off.
“Sorry,” as Steven’s friend stood back up, he dropped something in Raymond’s pocket.
“Gees,” Raymond brushed his sleeve, “Uncivilised poor people.”
Steven’s friend walked towards the end of the room and turned back to Steven and eyed him in confirmation. Steven smiled and picked his phone, “Hong Kong police, I have something to report.”
Moses sat back down across from Raymond, “Is your brother making you work again?”
Raymond took his glasses off and cleaned it on his shirt, “Yeh, always going on about the same old thing. But it’s all good I have my way with him.”
Moses laughed, “Well that’s what happens when you’re the younger brother. Unlike me, I have Ron, my great cousin to help me out.”
Another ten minutes passed, suddenly all the lights to the club were switched on and the music was turned off. Everyone in the club started yelling out complaining.
“We are the Hong Kong police,” a CID officer said over the loud speaker, “Males to the left side of the room, females to the right. Move…”
Moses and Raymond got up and moved to the middle, while Steven stood towards the front of the line.
Bosco Wong, a CID officer started from the beginning of the male line, he looked at Steven a little suspicious, “ID please.”
Steven casually took out his identification card, “Here you go officer.”
Bosco checked his ID and searched his pockets but he was clean.
Steven took back his ID, “Thankyou officer.”
Bosco didn’t say anything but moved down the line. Steven had a constant smirk on his face as he watched Bosco check everyone.
“ID please,” Bosco asked Raymond.
Raymond grabbed his wallet and took his identification and handed it to Bosco. Raymond glanced at his watch impatiently while Bosco checked his ID.
“I’m going to check your pockets,” Bosco reached inside Raymond’s jacket pocket and felt around a bit. He felt a small packet and pulled it out.
Raymond and Moses eyes widened as Bosco pulled out a small packet of white powder.
“What’s this?” Bosco asked.
“I don’t know, it’s not mine,” Raymond said nervously, “I don’t know how it got in my pocket.”
“I can guarantee that these aren’t his,” Moses said with confidence.
Bosco took out his handcuffs and cuffed Raymond’s hands together, “You are being placed under arrest for the possession of illicit drugs.”
Bosco walked behind Raymond leading him out the door, he walked pass Steven and saw the smirk on his face.

*Kowloon Police Station, 11:49pm*
Frankie and Ron ran into the police station to find Moses sitting out the front waiting for Raymond.
“Where’s my brother?” Frankie asked hastily.
“Still inside,” Moses replied worried about Raymond.
Frankie ran up to the police counter while Ron sat next to Moses, “Dai Gor, are you ok?”
Moses patted Ron on the shoulder, “I’m fine, but I’m worried about Ray.”
A few minutes later Raymond walked out with Bosco behind him, “Although we found the illicit drugs in your pocket but because we didn’t find your fingerprints on the packet, we don’t have enough evidence to charge you.”
Raymond adjusted his jacket, “I told you that it’s not mine.”
“Just sign here,” Bosco gave some documentation to Raymond for him to sign.
Raymond, Frankie, Moses and Ron walked of the station. Everyone was in silence, Raymond glanced over at Frankie, his face was not only black with anger but he swore he could see steam coming out of his ear.
“Ahh… the police always get things wrong,” Raymond said trying to break the silence.
Frankie stopped walking, “From tomorrow on, you’re going to work.”
