"You're awake?" Ron asked, stroking Tavia's hair.
"What do you think? What's the time now?" Tavia joked.
"Almost 7pm. You hungry?"
Tavia nodded her head and jumped up all of a sudden.
"There's still time! Let's go!" Tavia pulled Ron out of the house.
"Where are we going?"
"To buy your clothes. You're starting work soon tomorrow. Hurry, slowpoke!"
* At the boutique *
"Hey, miss! You're back again!" The same saleperson who joked with Tavia that morning laughed when he saw Tavia and Ron running into the shop.
Tavia ignored him and started to choose the suits for Ron.
"This, and this. And you try this. Hm, take this. As well as, maybe this? This tie suits the jacket. Take it. Uh, you go and try all these first while I help you choose some more out here. Go!" Tavia stashed jackets and ties of different brands and colours and design into Ron.
"I don't need this much huh?" Ron choked.
"This is an order!" Tavia pouted.
"Yes madam!" Ron saluted.

Leila was cooking her cup noodles in the kitchen when the doorbell rang.
"Sigh, that kor huh! Must have forgotten to bring his keys! Absent-minded!" Leila shook her head and opened the door.
"Hi!" Raymond greeted her.
"Oh, it's you? Uh, yea?"
"You..You're not inviting me in?"
Leila shrugged and showed Raymond in.
"Uh, just came to tell you that your operation is scheduled three days later and you have to be warded in the hospital the day before for some routine check-up,"
"Oh, that's it? You could have just given me a call,"
"I missed you, so I came and tell you. Is that cup noodles you are cooking?"
Leila shivered. "Don't be disgusting. See, my goosepimples have all came up. Good sense of smelling."
"Haha, I thought all girls like to listen to mushy words?"
Leila rolled her eyes and moved to the kitchen.
"Hey, let's go out for dinner okay? Cup noodles are unhealthy. A big no no. Come, I bring you to somewhere special," Raymond dashed to the kitchen and turned off the stove before Leila could object. "I want to keep you fat and chubby, so no other guys will come near you," Raymond joked.
Leila pouted and frowned at him. "You! You think you're that great huh? Who said I need you to keep me fat and chubby and what no guys will come near me? I was CHUBBY when I was young and lot of guys were secretly in love with me okay?. Humph!"
"Tsk, those were the PAST, now it's different. If you become fat now, no one will want you."
"No one wants me then no one wants me, who cares? I got my kor anyway! Who said I need you?" Leila said blushing.
"Nah, Ron is too busy accompanying Tavia now, he won't bother to care about you. Haha. Believe me, only I will want you no matter if you are fat or thin," Raymond smirked and kissed Leila on the cheek when she wasn't noticing.
"Hey you! Surprise attack!" Leila argued.
"Did I?" Raymond acted innocent and looked around him. "Faster! Wait you faint here because of hunger, I won't send you to hospital," Raymond held Leila's hand and ushered her out of the house.

Ron and Tavia was walking on the streets with their hands interlocked.
"I don't want to go home yet. If I go back now, I don't even know when I will see you again,"
"Tavia, listen to me and believe me. No matter what comes our way after tonight, I promise you, I will prove my worth to your dad within 3 months and stop him from making you marry Raymond. So let's face it bravely okay?" Ron looked into Tavia's eyes.
"I believe you,"
Ron kissed Tavia on the lips and soon, the kiss became a deep one and the couple was lost in a world of their own.

"Remember this place?" Raymond asked Leila after they had placed their orders
"Yea, 2 years ago, on the first day when we met, you brought me here. That was funny, You actually took so many neoprints with me. This place didn't change much, " Leila eyed her surroundings.
"Yup, of course. To win the maiden's heart. Hehe. You were so cool then, but as I got to know you better, acting cool was just your weapon to protect yourself. Hehe. How about this? We'll take neoprints in all the machines later and after your operation, we take the neoprints again?"
Leila nodded her head and hooked fingers with Raymond.
* At the beach that night *
Raymond and Leila were sitting on the beach admiring their neoprints and looking at the night sky.
"See this, you look so dumb!" Leila laughed.
"You're not better off either. You look silly. What a perfect match!" Raymond retorted.
Leila laid down on the sand and looked at the sky.
"There's so many stars tonight. Look at them. Twinkling in the sky carefreely. I hope I turn into a star after my death. So when you and Kor sees the brightest star in the sky, that will be me, watching over you all."
Raymond thought he sensed something wrong in Leila's voice.
"Leila, is there anything wrong? Don't say that. You will be fine, I promise you. After your operation, I'll take neoprints and go star-gazing everyday with you if you want,"
"I don't know if I will be fine. It's tiring having the same routine everyday.Thanks Raymond, I will remember tonight forever. Thanks for all you've done for me,"
"Leila..?"
"Can you promise me something? Please?"
"What is it?" Raymond eyed Leila suspiciously.
"If anything happens to me during the operation, I mean IF, promise me, you will let go of this relationship and forget me. Pretend that I've never existed, and look for your Cinderella,"
"Leila, I told you you will be fine! There's no if! You are my Cinderella forever, and no one can take your place,"
"Raymond! Do you promise me?" Leila repeated herself.
"Okay.." Raymond agreed reluctantly.
Leila smiled and stood up, pulling Raymond with her.
"Can you take a stroll with me?"
The couple, hand in hand, walked down the beach, and Leila started to sing her favourite song, Ji De(Remember) softly and Raymond sang along with her.

"It's time you go home. Tavia, believe me. I will fufill my promise,"
"Yea, Tavia gotta go home now," An unfamiliar voice came behind Ron and before Ron knew what had happened, something hit him from behind and his vision was blurred. Ron fell to the ground, unconscious.
"RON! Who are you? Let me go! I don't know you! RON!" Tavia screamed and tried to pull herself away from the men in black, but to no avail. The men pushed Tavia into the car and sped off. Tavia looked at Ron lying motionlessly on the ground through the car window till he became a small speck in Tavia's vision...
