"Who are you?" Tavia's voice trembling in fear.
"You'll know in a moment," The man sitting next to her replied, emotionless.
The men in black ushered Tavia out of the car when they had reached their destination - the Yeung's mansion.
Tavia broke loose of the men's grip. "I can walk by myself! Let go! I understand now, my dad sent you all to hurt Ron right?" Tavia snapped in a fit of anger.
"We are just working under Master's orders," A man answered, whom Tavia assumed was the leader.
Tavia shot the men a you-all-watch-out-for-me look and stomp angrily into the mansion.
"STOP THERE TAVIA YEUNG! Is this how you treat your parents when you just came back? Not even a greeting? Where's all your manners? Forgot about them ever since that Ron guy led you astray huh?" Mr Yeung yelled when Tavia was walking towards the staircase.
"Manners? Then what about YOURS? Don't think I don't know anything. I'm smart enough to know that YOU sent those men out there to hurt Ron right? Despicable act! I told you I'll leave him alone after tonight! Why did you still hurt him? Liar! You big fat liar! And let me tell you, HE didn't lead me astray! I just can't be polite in front of you cold-blooded animals!" Tavia remarked sarcastically.
"You will leave him after tonight, but will he leave you after tonight? That was just to teach him a lesson. Don't worry, I know what to do with him. And I warn you, you are not supposed to go out starting from tomorrow without my permission, till your wedding day. Get it?"
"You are controlling me now huh? I go out as I wish! I don't care! I'm going to Ron's house now for the night. BYE!" Tavia glared angrily at her dad.
"Tavia dear, don't do that. You are upsetting us you know? Have you ever thought of us?" Mrs Yeung stood up and tried to calm Tavia down.
"Spared a thought for you two? Then have you two ever spared a thought for me? Let me tell you this, I wished terribly that you two are not my parents! You two failed to do your duty well and..-"
Mr Yeung slapped Tavia harshly on her face.
"You don't say that to your mum! Apologize NOW!"
Tears were threatening to fall from Tavia's eyes, but her mouth remained close as if she was mute.
"Ah Ying, bring Missy up to her room and make sure she don't leave the compounds of this mansion wothout my permission," Mr Yeung ordered Tavia's nanny.
Tavia clenched her fist and stomped her way up to her room, crying hard.

"Thanks Raymond, for everything you did for me. Goodnight," Leila told Raymond in the lift.
"My pleasure. And remember to tell Ron about your operation okay?"
"Yah yah yah. Long-winded!"
The couple stopped their laughing and joking when they saw a figure lying at Leila's flat door.
"Kor? Kor, you wake up, kor! Don't scare me! Kor??" Leila shook Ron. "He's not reacting!" Leila sobbed. "You hear me kor?"
"Ron, Ron! Raymond here, wake up! What are you dong here?"
Ron shifted slightly and fluttered his eyes slowly, htting his head.
"Huh, why am I here? Where's Tavia?" Ron sat up groggily, having a big headache.
"Come, go in and talk," Leila opened the door and Raymond helped Ron in.
"Where's Tavia? She was with me, when someone knocked me out and I blacked out. I was with her at a shopping mall, why am I back home?" Ron explained anxiously.
"Wait, I call Tavia and ask her," Raymond whipped out his cellphone and dialled Tavia's number. "She's not picking up her phone," Raymond hung up the call and called Tavia's house instead.
"Hello? May I speak to Tavia please?" Raymond asked politely when the call was picked up.
"Hi, Raymond? I'm so sorry. Tavia is very tired and can't answer your call now. Is there anything or message that I can help to pass?" Mrs Yeung replied at the other end.
"Uh, no thanks, auntie. Just wanna ask if she's free tomorrow as I couldn't reach her on her mobile. Thanks auntie and sorry for disturbing you. Goodnight," Raymond lied and hung up the call hastily.
"I guess she reached home. Her mum said that Tavia is tired and can't answer the call now. Don't worry, I help you call on her tomorrow?"
"Okay then. Thanks Raymond," Ron sighed. "Anyway, Leila, I'm going to work at Tavia's dad's company tomorrow, so I don't know what time I'll be back,"
Leila nodded and gave a yawn.
"Uh, I think I'll get going now. By the way, Leila will be operated on three days later but she has to be warded the day before. You need me to give you a check-up? " Raymond informed Ron.
"Nah, no need. I'm feeling much better now. Not that giddy anymore. Thanks and I'll make sure I send her to the hospital. Or you want to send her..?" Ron grinned mischievously.
Leila tugged at Ron's sleeve and made a face at him.
"Goodnight Ron and Leila. No more cup noodles for you Leila!" Raymond wagged his forefinger at Leila and she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Seems like you are in love too huh?" Ron asked Leila after Raymond had left.
"Love's in the air and you're not the only one who can love! Well, you can only love Tavia though!" Leila grinned sweetly at Ron and dashed back to her room before Ron could take a magazine on the table and throw it at her.

hm, how was the chapter? hope it's not too boring!! i wonder what's gonna happen to ray and leila, ron and tavia..ahah...hm, just a hint..i guess most of you will be very disappointed with the ending..lolz..suspense!!comments pls??
