Yeung Group and Lam Foundation had merged, with Ron taking care of the two companies as the CEO. The outside world was full of praise for Ron, fully believing that he could come so far was not because of his background, but because of his determination and effort. Not only were the companies the most influential companies in Hong Kong, they were also going global and their business scaled to great heights. Ron was also a good husband and father, spending time with his family whenever he could.
Leila studied and worked at the same time during the time she was in Singapore. She studied design and arts and worked at a designer's company as a trainee. The clothes that she designed brought out different feelings and were artistic. In less than 3 years, she made her name, which made Ron very proud that he had such a capable sister. She had a lot of suitors but she accepted none of them, for fear that history will repeat itself and mainly because she couldn't treat Raymond totally as her brother.
Raymond had just won a Nobel Prize and was known for his decisive analysing skills. He fufilled his promise to Leila. He hit the headlines and cover page on all the magazines and newspaper and a hard time shuffling between the hospital, television station and radio station as he had a lot of interviews waiting for him. He was the dream man of all girls but he didn't care about them as he still had Leila in his heart.
Tavia became a little woman and supported Ron in everything he did. She was a good daughter-in-law, a good wife and also a good mother. She spent her time accompanying Niki, her first child with Ron, and teaching and grooming her into a refined lady. She felt as if she was the happiest woman on the world, with a husband doting on her and a well-behaved daughter.

Leila waited at the entrance of the airport and looked at the once familiar streets in front of her through her shades.
Leila's POV: This place didn't change much. I wonder how is Raymond, kor and Tavia. Raymond, the last time I saw him was during Ron's wedding. I know he still have feelings for me, but we didn't see each other for 2 years, maybe he has a girlfriend already? That will be nice.
"Leila!" Leila was jolted out of her trains of thought. She turned her head back slowly and smiled.
Ron, Tavia, Raymond and a little girl were looking at her.
"Kor!" Leila exclaimed excitedly and hugged Ron.
"Woah, you've got heavier," Ron joked.
Leila folded her arms and frowned. "So? You've got a little girl here yourself!"
Leila felt someone tugging at her skirt.
"Auntie Leila, did you bring any presents back for me?"
Leila bent down. "Yup, I did, Niki,"
"Ahem. I'm transparent huh?" Raymond coughed.
"Well, sadly, no. Although I wish badly that you are! Dr Raymond Lam, do you know I got sick looking at your face everyday in Singapore? You seem to be on the cover page on all the magazines and on the newspaper. I switch on the television and I see you being interviewed," Leila said.
"Hm, fresh. I didn't know girls get sick looking at handsome guys. I didn't get sick looking at yours though, Leila! Your name is a household brand in Singapore and Hong Kong. The clothes that you design sells like hotcakes. I've heard that some HK companies had already contacted you to join their companies when news of you coming back were released,"
Leila rolled her eyes and took off her shades.
"Became more stylish huh? Good taste," Tavia praised. "When can you design some clothes for me huh?"
"Anytime," Leila smiled. "Can we go back and talk? It's tiring holding to all these luggages!"
Ron and Raymond helped Leila with the luggage while Leila played with Niki and chatted with Tavia.
"Girls," Ron shook his head and rolled his eyes as he started the engine.
"Three of them," Raymond laughed.
* At Ron's and Tavia's mansion *
"Gosh, kor, you live here?" Leila gasped.
"Yup, I didn't want Tavia to squeeze into our flat. Don't worry, I didn't sell the flat either. Too many precious moments," Ron replied.
"Leila, I'll show you your room later?" Tavia suggested,
"Sure, thanks Tavia," Leila said. "Ahhhhh, I'm fainting!"
"Why? Are you okay? Air-sick?" Raymond asked with concern.
"I saw your face on that magazine again!" Leila pointed to a magazine lying on the table.
"You're looking at the real person, miss,"
"Well, you're not that photogenic," Leila retorted.
Raymond frowned and sighed. "Fine, you win. I give up. I surrender!" Raymond raised his two hands.
"Well, Leila, so, where are you working?" Ron asked.
"Hm, good question. I don't know either. I'm still looking through the contracts,"
"Why not you just come and work in our company? After all, it's better to work for someone close that you know,"
"Yea, join our company!" Tavia agreed with Ron.
Leila put her finger on the chin, considering the offer. "Nope, thanks kor. I know you're trying to help me, but I don't want people to say that I got into the company cuz I had strings attached,"
Ron wagged his forefinger at Leila. "No no. We're signing up and paying you at a market rate, and you will have no other special priviledges. It's such a coincidence that we want to invest in design, so, join us, please?"
"Haa! Revealed your true colours huh? Waiting for me to boost your business? Don't worry for me, a talent like me won't be jobless for long,"
Ron pushed Leila's head. "You ah! Join our company, please?" Ron looked at Leila with puppy eyes.
Leila smiled. "Fine,"
Niki put down the doll she was playing with and tugged at Ron's sleeve.
"Yes, honey? What can I do for you?" Ron bent down.
"Auntie Leila, can you move there a bit, I want to sit here,"
"Don't be rude Niki," Tavia reminded. "Come and sit here with mummy,"
Leila shrugged and shifted nearer to Raymond. "Nah, it's okay,"
Niki crawled up the sofa. "Daddy, I want to sleep. Can you all please, shhh?" Niki put her finger to her lips.
"Okay, we'll keep quiet. Come, daddy bring you to your room,"
"I don't want! I want daddy to tell me story and I want to sleep on your shoulder," Niki folded her arms and pouted, stubbornly.
"Niki! Come, mummy will tell you story,"
"I don't want! Everyday is mummy tell me story! I want daddy!" Niki clinged onto Ron.
"Woah, she speaks well for her age," Leila exclaimed.
"You bet, all my efforts," Tavia said proudly.
"Yea yea, you're the best!" Ron said. "Honey, don't pout! Wait you pout won't be beautiful anymore," Ron teased Niki.
"If mummy's the best, then me?"
Ron shook his head and carried Niki in the air.
"You ah! Fast reaction, can be a lawyer next time!"
"I don't want to be a lawyer! I want to be a doctor like Uncle Raymond,"
"Fine, fine. Then you have to study hard," Ron gave in.
Tavia stood up. "I'll get you all some drinks,"
"Tavia," Ron said.
"Yes? Daddy?" Tavia bent down.
Ron kissed her on the cheek. "I want ice lemon tea,"
Tavia nodded her head. Niki started to cry.
"Niki, why are you crying? Tell mummy and daddy," Tavia asked.
"Dad..Daddy kiss mummy...Not fair, daddy never kiss me goodnight," Niki said in between her sobs.
Ron, Tavia, Leila and Raymond all broke out in laughter and patted Niki on the head.
