Raymond held Leila's hand and strod into the hotel.
"Leila darling! Waited for you for so long. I don't have much patience you know. Woah, you're not stupid huh? Got a bodyguard. Mister, move aside before you regret it." Lincoln glared at Raymond.
"Sorry bloodsucker. I came to tell you Leila is my girlfriend. Try touching her and I'll bash you up. I will settle their debts.They owed you $31 200, inclusive of interest huh? This cheque here, $50 000, I guess it's enough to stop you from bothering Ron and Leila? If you still harass them, not only the cheque will bounce, the police will be on your heels as well. Don't try to push your luck, or you will DEFINITELY regret it and let me tell you, I'M NOT JOKING!" Raymond warned Lincoln.
"Oh I see. Sure, $50 000 is enough for me to stop harassing Leila." Lincoln grabed the cheque and walked off. "Babe, look for me some day when you are free. HAA! Anyway, he's such a good catch, no wonder you don't want me.Aw."
"Watch your tongue!" hissed Raymond, pointing his forefinger at him.
Leila, still frightened and sobbing: " Thanks Dr Lam. But the money.."
"Don't worry about that first. Don't cry already. You want to grab a bite?" Leila shook her head with fatigue and let go of her hand.
"Oh, sorry. Erm, I send you back?" Raymond mumbled.
"Ok, but can you promise me you won't tell kor?" Raymond nodded his head.

Ron's POV : Where did Leila go? She's not anywhere in the house. None of the neighbours saw her. Leila, where are you? Kor can't do without you! Nothing must happen to you.
Ron slumped down onto a chair, wondering where could Leila have gone, praying hard that the hospital won't call at this time.
" Kor?" Ron turned upon hearing Leila's voice. "Where did you go? Made me so worried!" Ron hugged Leila tightly, glad that his sis was safe and sound. "Raymond? Huh? Where did you all go?'
"Kor, I..I..I'm sorry!" Leila burst into tears.
"Huh? What? Why are you apologizing to me? Leila?"
Raymond and Leila told Ron about the "deal" and Ron stared at Leila in surprise and anger, his heart aching as if someone had stabbed him.
"Leila ah! How can you be so silly? It's all my fault! Kor is so useless! Sorry Leila! Raymond, the money.." Ron coughed, trying to control his emotions.
"Nah, don't worry so much. I'm not in need of the money yet."
"Ok, thanks!"
Throughout the whole night, the trio sat in the living room in silence. One thing Raymond was even more certain of after that night was he can't do without Leila and he wants to protect her forever..
