* At Raymond's mansion *
Raymond's parents were sitting in the living room with arms folded. The look on their face spelt trouble and Raymond knew he was in for it.
Mrs Lam: "You finally decided to come back huh? Have you forgotten that we had a dinner appointment with Tavia last night? We waited for you till late into the night. Called you but your cellphone was off. Tavia waited for you the whole night and refused to leave. Just where on earth did you go huh? What can be more important than your fiancee?"
"Sorry mum and dad. My patient needed my help yesterday. I'm really sorry, but I really forgot about our appointment. Erm, where's Lei..-Erm I mean Tavia now?"
Mr Lam: "She's resting in the guest room. Were with your patient or your girlfriend last night? Your nurse said you went back quite early. Is that girl Leila again right?" Mr Lam was fuming and losing his patience with his only son.
"Uh, I need to go back to the hospital. Talk when we come..-"
"YOU SHUT UP! Don't you think you owe an apology to Tavia? I don't care, you go up this moment and apologize to her. And let me warn him, your dad and I will only accept Tavia as our daughter-in-law. So forget about that whatever Leila. Whatever the case is, we have decided to hold the wedding in 3 months time whether you like it or not. I don't care what you do with that Leila girl now, but I want you to stop all your nonsense after you and Tavia is married!" Mrs Lam reprimanded Raymond and stared daggers at him.
"MUM! I TOLD YOU I DON'T..-"
"GO UP NOW!"
Raymond threw his tie onto the sofa and stomped out of the house.
"RAYMOND YOU COME BACK NOW! RAY!!" Raymond ignored his father and sped back to the hospital.
