"Morning Dr Lam. Dr Kang needs to discuss something with you about your patient Leila. He's waiting in the conference room."
Raymond's nurse informed him when he stepped into his consultation room. Raymond gave her a thumb-up telling her that he will proceed there soon.
* At the conference room *
"Hi, Cheng Xi. What's the discussion about Leila. Don't tell me there's something wrong with her."
"Morning. As a matter of fact, there was this girl who was brought in last night as she has a serious car accident. Sadly, she died due to loss of blood and we found out that her liver is a perfect match with Leila. Her parents had agreed to donate their daughter's liver to Leila but..The problem is, Leila's condition is very weak and we are not confident that she can make it, so it's actually a 50-50 chance.
Raymond's mood lightened up upon hearing that there was hope for Leila but on hearing that she might leave him forever, Raymond was at a loss.
"Uh, I'll discuss it with her brother before getting back to you?"
"You definitely should,"

"You mean that there is hope for Leila? Oh, that's great. Sure, I'll come over to the hospital now. Thank you Dr Lam!" Ron gasped in excitement and hung up the call.
"Leila! You got to follow me to the hospital now. There's a liver match for you!" Ron woke Leila, telling her the good news.
"Huh, what? I'm not dreaming right kor? Are you kidding me?"
"When did Kor ever lied to you? Does it hurt?" Ron pinched Leila's cheek.
"Ouch! You!! Humph! I go and wash up."

Ron, Leila and Raymond were seated in Raymond's room. Leila shrugged uncomfortably upon knowing that it was a 50-50 chance for her. Either she lives or she dies. Leila was soon lost in a world of her own.
"You two can think it over before giving me a reply. Uh, excuse me, I'll be back soon." Raymond explained to them, leaving the siblings alone in the room to discuss.
Raymond POV : Raymond, why are you so worried now? It's not up to you to decide whether you want Leila to have the operation. But, but what if she really goes for the op? I might lose her forever. Leila, please make the right choice.

Nurse: "Hi, Mrs Lam, here to see Dr Lam again? He's in his consultation room."
"Huh, what? We are not officially married yet. Don't call me Mrs Lam." Tavia said, feeling her face on fire.
"Aw, sooner or later. I don't bother you now, go and look for your Dr Lam. Hehe!" The nurse giggled.
"Raymond! Sur..prise..Oh sorry. Erm, is Raymond here?" Tavia asked, shocked and embarrassed to see a couple sitting in Raymond's room, thinking she had gone to the wrong room.
"Uh, hi..Dr Lam just..just went out." Ron stammered, surprised to see his dream girl who always appeared in his dream.
Ron's POV : Oh my! Isn't that the girl who always appeared in my dream? My dream girl.The one that shared my aspirations and think the same way as me? She's beautiful. Why is she here? Is she a patient? Why is she looking for Dr Lam? She can't be a nurse, she's not in her uniform. Maybe she just changed shift?
Tavia's POV : Who's this guy here? Why do I have a special feeling when I see him? Why doesn't I have this feeling when I'm with Raymond? It's the first time I have this feeling. Tavia, snap out of it! Raymond is your fiance. You..you are just feeling embarrassed. That's all! And who's that girl beside this guy? Is she his girlfriend? Tavia, snap out of it!
An awkward silence fell.
Raymond stepped into the room, getting a shock of his life. The day he dreaded finally came. "Eh, Tavia? Why are you here?"
Tavia, Leila and Ron came to their senses.
"Huh? What?" The trio said in unison.
"Uh, just came to see if you're alright cuz you didn't go home yesterday."
"Oh, ok. Um, let me introduce. Tavia, my..my fiancee, Leila, my patient and Ron her brother."
Ron's POV : Her name's Tavia? Nice name. It's too bad we met too late. Raymond is her fiance. Guess I gotta find another dream girl.
Tavia POV : That's Leila? The Leila that I''ve always heard Raymond talking about? She's pretty. Tavia, you gotta trust Raymond!
"So sorry Tavia. Dr Lam had to help me yesterday so.."Leila explained.
"Nah, it's ok. Erm, since you all are discussing something, I'll excuse myself then. Bye everyone. See you." Tavia made her way out hastily.
Tavia's POV : Why can't I get that Ron out of my head. Tavia, be good and be Mrs Lam. But, but, you know it. Raymond doesn't love you, he loves Leila. I don't like Raymond either. We are just forced to marry each other. Ron is different, he gives me a special feeling. But, but all is too late, our wedding will take place 3 months later. AW!

Raymond: "Erm, why not you two go home and think it over and tell me your decision ASAP?"
"Good idea. Thanks Dr Lam. Kor, let's go."
"Uh, Leila! Erm, shall we have lunch together later? Ron, I need to tell her something in private. Is that ok with you?"
"Ok, take care of Leila then. Bye."
