Raymond and Leila were taking a stroll in the park after having lunch at an internet cafe.
"Uh, what is it that you want to tell me?"
"I..I..My..I..I will be marrying Tavia in erm, 3 months time. But I don't really love her, it's all arranged marriage by our parents. My parents wanted to boost our business with the help of the Yeung Group."
"Uh huh, but why are you telling me all that? I mean, are you really unhappy? Maybe you should voice your views out? You two are lucky that you can afford to fall in love. I can't. My days are numbered. Kor and I don't know what tomorrow brings for us. So cherish her, try to love her, maybe it won't be so bad after all."
"I can't bring myself to love her. I..I have my dream girl already. It's unfair for the 3 of us."
"True, youth is the most precious thing to a girl. Does your dream girl know your feelings to her? Maybe you should sort this out fast, or you and Tavia will regret it for life."
Raymond's POV: Tell her your feelings now. There might not be another chance. But what if she's angry with me? Then we can't even be friends.
Raymond stopped in his tracks and grabbed Leila's hand.
"Huh, what..-" Leila turned back and the impossible happened. Their lips met.
Leila's POV: Leila! Do you know what you are doing? Move away now! You can't be the third party. But, Raymond treats me well. Leila! Don't think otherwise, you are his patient, obviously he have to care for you if not some patients of his sure complain against him.
Leila moved her lips away from Raymond.
"Uh, I wonder if kor reached home yet. Uh, I need to go. Thanks for the treat Ray-I mean Dr Lam. I'll give you a reply about the operation soon. Bye." Leila broke away from Raymond and walked away, as fast as her legs can take her.
"LEILA!! YOU ARE RIGHT! IF I DON'T TELL YOU MY FEELINGS TODAY, I WILL DEFINITELY REGRET FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!! I LOVE YOU, I JUST WANNA BE WITH YOU AND PROTECT YOU FOREVER! I WANT TO BE BY YOUR SIDE DAY AND NIGHT. I DON'T WANT TO MARRY TAVIA!! I LOVE YOU, YOU HEAR ME!??! LEILA COME BACK!!" Raymond yelled, ignorant of the curious looks of the passers-by.
Leila shook her head and covered her ears. "I DON'T WANNA HEAR ANYMORE!!"

Tavia and Ron was walking aimlessly around Happy Valley, not knowing they were so near. Maybe it was fate or as what you call, telepathy. Something in their mind instigated them to walk around this building, as if they will meet someone special.
Heaven was playing a trick on them. Whenever one of them goes up, the other goes down, when one turns to the right, another turn to the left. There was once when Ron was just a level above Tavia, exactly at the same position.
Ron gave up hope and walked out of the building when he bumped into someone..
"Oops, sorry!! Sorry!!" apologized Ron.
"Never mind never mind,"
Ron's and Tavia's POV : Why does this voice sound so familiar?
"RON!" "TAVIA!"
The duo burst out in laughter.
Ron's POV: Her laughter is mesmerizing. She's cute and pretty. Shake her out of your mind. She's a rich girl, and you? She and Raymond makes a better pair.
"Hm, are you free now? Shall we grab a bite?" Tavia asked.
"Sure," nodded Ron enthusiastically.
The duo settled down in a cafe and spent the rest of the afternoon chatting happily. They talked about almost anything under the sun, from their background to their favourites, you name it.
Tavia :"Hey, how about this? Since my dad's company has a vacancy for a Human Resource Department Assistant Chief, why not you go and try for the job? I can help you get an interview ASAP."
"What? Assistant Chief? Tavia, erm, I don't have much education and this job is..-"
"No worries! You can do it! I believe in you!" Tavia assured Ron.
Ron's POV: Since you need to repay Raymond the money and the money for Leila's treatment, why not just take up the job and try? After all, it beats slogging your guts out by working 5 different jobs a day.
"Uh, okay then. I give it a try. Thanks Tavia!" Ron smiled and placed his hands over Tavia's in gratefulness.
Tavia shrugged and Ron realised what he did.
"Oops, sorry. I didn't know..-"
"It's okay. I'm just troubled. My parents arranged me to marry Raymond in 3 months time. I know he doesn't love me. His heart is with Leila. There's no use having him physically when his heart's not with me. Deep in my heart, I know he's not my Prince Charming whom I can live with happily ever after, but for the sake of his parents and mine, do I have a choice? I just have to pretend I loved him. Oops, sorry, I think i bored you. Erm, I will tell my dad about you tonight and get back to you." Tavia poured out her true feelings, writing out her number for Ron at the same time.
"Oh okay. Sorry about Leila and Raymond..-"
"Don't say that, we don't like each other anyway. It's getting late, I have to go back."
"Okay, don't mind if I send you back?"
"Most welcomed. Having a handsome-looking bodyguard, I shall be the envy of the girls on the streets. Haha!"
Ron rolled his eyes and shook his head, knowing that he had fallen in love with Tavia, love at first sight..
Stars were sparkling in the night sky. Countless of them. Ron and Tavia were strolling down the pavements of Tavia's neighbourhood. The night was quiet, except for the occasional barking of watchdogs from the mansions nearby.
Ron's POV: This is too good to be true. It's so romantic walking with my dream girl under the night sky.
Tavia's POV: Ron's such a sweet guy. And also the first decent guy i ever met, other then Raymond. I believe he didn't befriend me for my money but for..Pure friendship. But, he gives me a warm feeling, I think I'm falling for him.
Ron/Tavia: "Tavia," / "Ron,"
Both giggled at the thought of they having such good chemistry just on their "first date".
Ron: "Uh, ladies first. you speak first."
"Hehe, thanks. I'm reaching my house soon. I think you can stop sending me already. Don't get me wrong, just that security is tight at my house, I don't want you getting into unneccesary trouble. I don't mean..-"
"I understand. Just wanna tell you goodnight."
Tavia nodded and glanced at Ron, who was sticking his hands into his pocket.
Tavia's POV: He's really nice. Other guys would have taken the opportunity to...Sigh, why do I want him to hold my hands now so badly? Tavia, stay cool. 1,2,3!
"I see. Um, okay then, I'll get back to you soon. Goodnight and help me send my regards to Leila."
Ron shifted his eyes uncomfortably. "Sure, take care and goodnight. Uh, I get going first. Bye. Uh..Uh.."
"Hm? What?" Tavia pretended to act innocent when she knew exactly what Ron was going to say. Nothing.
"Uh, nothing." Ron mumbled, staring at his shoes.
Tavia controlled her smile and said "Bye." coolly.
Ron stood there, watching Tavia's backview getting smaller and smaller and turned back.
"RON NG!!" Tavia shouted and ran back to where Ron was. Ron lightened up upon hearing Tavia' voice.
"Thanks for accompanying me today. Uh, I call you when I reach home. Ya, that's about it. Ciao!" Tavia rattled and kissed Ron on his cheek and dashed off, afraid that Ron might see her blushing.
Ron stood there dumbfounded. He broke into laughter and jumped high up, punching his fist into the air. "YES YES YES!!! WOOHOO!!! YES!!!"
