YeonHee's worries

“~~~~~-ah”
“~~~~~~!!!!” You feel a really hard slap on your head.
Slowly, you open your eyes and look around then upwards to see your teacher glaring at you while raising his thick textbook. That textbook is what he used to hit you before. Then you feel a sting on the side of your head. You reach your hand to that side and rub it.
“~~~~~, please don’t fall asleep in the middle of your class now! We are talking about some important things that you need to know for you exam later.” The teacher says.
“But sir, exam is still in 2 months...” You whine.
“~~~~~! You have to start studying from now on if you want to pass the subject!!”
“yess…” You nod as you rub your head.
A few seconds later, the school end bell rings.
“Ok kids, you may go home now. See you tomorrow.” The teacher dismisses the class. All the kids cheers and some of them make their way straight to their extra curricular, while you just sit on your seat sighing.
“~~~~ Do you want to go buy some snacks with me for the camping later?” TaeYeon asks.
“Yeah sure why not.” You nod. The two of you then pack all of your stuff and head straight to the nearest supermarket you can find.
TaeYeon and you look around the supermarket while carrying a basket. Slowly, the basket is half full. As the two of you reach the noodle section, TaeYeon stop and search for the noodle brand she likes. You just stand and wait for TaeYeon. Your eyes then caught Pepsi cans that are being built into a pyramid. You tell TaeYeon that you will grab some of those Pepsi for later, and then you approach it. Once you take two Pepsi can, a familiar hand also reach the other can beside yours. You look up to see who it is and it turns out to be JaeJoong.
“You!” JaeJoong says as he points out his finger to you.
“You again..” You sigh. “Why do I have to always meet you? At home and even outside..”
“Anyway.. Thanks for saying nice things about me to YeonHee..” He mumbles.
“What did you say?” You are not sure if those words could actually come out from his mouth.
“Nothing…”
“Hey, but I don’t get it why you always want or acting very nicely to YeonHee. It is so unlike you.”
“It’s normal.” He answers. You try to dig out more but then he tries to avoid it by changing the subject. “What are you doing here?”
“Just buying some stuff for the camp later.”
“You are in the same group as me right?”
“Yup…” You nod your head. You make your way back to TaeYeon and JaeJoong follows behind you. Just when you think it is so peaceful, JaeJoong makes another mess. He accidentally trips on a bottom can of the pyramid. The pyramid then shakes and about to fall down. Everyone around them stare at the can falling down to the floor. Some of the can bend and ends up opening the can and bursting out the soda around. You are afraid of being asked by JaeJoong to help him pay the mess, so you grab his hand and then run towards TaeYeon.
The three of you run into the cashier as fast as you can and pay while the manager and the crews of the supermarket are panicking. As the three of you finished paying, you all walk as if you didn’t do anything wrong. Then you all laugh when you are outside of the supermarket. JaeJoong rubs your head while he laughs.
On the other side of the road, YeonHee is walking with her friends, she then notices JaeJoong in front of the supermarket laughing. She can’t see you and TaeYeon because of the car that blocks her sights. She is curious why he is laughing so hard and once the car drives away, she sees you and TaeYeon. JaeJoong is rubbing your head while you pats on his back. The smile on YeonHee’s face slowly fades away.
‘wait. I shouldn’t think badly like this first. They are just housemates for a few days. And.. and.. I shouldn’t get jealous just by seeing that. Stupid me!’
YeonHee didn’t say hi to you guys, but she just continues to walk with her friends as if she didn’t notice you and other’s presence.
Later that night, YeonHee tries to call JaeJoong to ask him out for a dinner. But JaeJoong didn’t pick up his phone at all. At that time, JaeJoong is having dinner with you and TaeYeon in a restaurant. Your relationship with JaeJoong is now getting better. YeonHee then calls him another 3 times but he didn’t pick it up so she gives up and go to sleep. After the dinner, JaeJoong notices the 4 miscalls from YeonHee. When he is about to call her, you grab his arm and pull him to take a sticker photo with you and TaeYeon. JaeJoong then put the phone into his pocket and start taking the pictures.On the next day, YeonHee comes over to your house. When she rings the door bell, you open the door for her.
“YeonHee!” You smile as you see her.
“~~~~~, is JaeJoong at home?” YeonHee asks while peeking inside.
“Come in come in! Yes, he is packing up for the camp tomorrow in the living room.”
“~~~~~, who’s that?” JaeJoong says from the living room.
“Who else other than your ‘honey’???” You say to him teasingly.
“YeonHee!” JaeJoong smile even wider than you when he sees YeonHee. YeonHee comes up to him and give him a hug, JaeJoong also replies her hug back. When they are hugging, you give a gesture to JaeJoong that you’ll be going somewhere. JaeJoong nods and you leave the house. The first thing that you have in your mind is going to SeungHyun’s house, but you left your phone inside, so you just knock on his door, but no one answer. So you decided to just walk around the floor a few times.
At that time, YeonHee breaks from the hug. “JaeJoong, I have something urgent to tell you.”
“What is it?” JaeJoong asks.
“I’m going to go America tomorrow. It’s pretty much a sudden call from my mom. Can you drive me to the airport tomorrow around 4pm?”
“Yeah sure.” JaeJoong smiles.
On the next day, at 4pm, JaeJoong drives his car to YeonHee’s house. YeonHee has been waiting in front of her house, so she gets on the car and sit at the front. But when she closes the door, she is greeted by your cheerful voice.
“YeonHee, hi!”
“~~~~~?” She responds. She never expected your presence.
“I told her to come along.” JaeJoong adds. YeonHee gives you a weak smile and then face to the front again.
In the airport when she is about to go, she gives JaeJoong a peck on the cheek even though JaeJoong is giving her a signal to kiss him on the lips. When she bids her goodbye, she takes a glance of you and JaeJoong as if she is worried.
‘Is it okay to leave them like this for a week? Should I really be going to America?’
All this kind of questions pops out in her mind constantly and she has this guilt feeling.
