Chapter 35

Together Again...Siu Sung's Promise

Recap: Ngor Jei went to find Siu Sung to pick up Ka Lok, Ngor Jei didn't inform Siu Sung ahead of time, therefore both Siu Sung and Ka Lok slept in. Neither of them heard the doorbell. Being extremely worried, Ngor Jei started to bang on Siu Sung's door. Finally hearing the sound, Siu Sung opened the door. Seeing Ngor's worried face, Siu Sung can't help but pull Ngor in his embrace. Siu Sung was finally clear of who is the most important to him.

So Ngor: Where have you been! Do you know how worried I was?

Without saying a word, Siu Sung wrapped So Ngor in his arms.

Ngor was speechless, she could only wait for Siu Sung to react.

Siu Sung: Sorry I made you so worry.

So Ngor: That's okay...

Ah Ngor tried to pull herself away from Siu Sung, but failed.

Siu Sung ignored Ngor's struggle, and continued on with what he was saying...

Siu Sung: When I saw your worried expression just then, suddenly an answer popped up to me.

Ngor remained silent, listening to Siu Sung's every word.

Siu Sung: I know now, that you are the person I love.

So Ngor: How positive are you?

Siu Sung: One hundred percent positive. Even if you didn't save me, even if it was Ah Chi who saved me, I know now, that you are the one. Trust me Ngor, I can assure you that, my mind is as clear as a piece of crystal, I mean every word I say. Give me this chance.

Siu Sung waited patiently for Ngor's response.

So Ngor: Do you...remember what you said to me...the time you were being accused by the police of murder? The time you were hiding away from the police?

Siu Sung: Of course, how can I forget?

*Flashback*

Ngor was worried sick about Siu Sung and his whereabouts. Suddenly the phone rang, it was Siu Sung.

Siu Sung: Ah Ngor, its me.

So Ngor: Siu Sung! Where are you? Yee Mui Jei and the rest of us are really worried about you.

Siu Sung: I know. I can't talk to you long, but I assure you, I will be back, once I've gathered enough evidence to prove myself innocent. I will take care of you and protect you for the rest your life, with my own life.

*End of Flashback*

So Ngor: Are you willing to keep your promise?

Siu Sung: Yes, forever. Will you give me this chance?

So Ngor nodded.

Siu Sung wrapped Ah Ngor in his arms.

Ka Lok opened the door and witness the entire scene.

Siu Sung and So Ngor turned to Ka Lok.

Ka Lok: Maybe I should excuse myself.

Ka Lok got back into his room.

Siu Sung lead Ngor over to the couch and the two of them began another conversation.

Siu Sung: Now that I am with you, I think its time to confront Ah Chi.

So Ngor nodded. Ngor was about to say something when Siu Sung interrupted.

Siu Sung: I know what you're going to say. Don't worry, I'll handle the situation well. I will try not to hurt Ah Chi.

So Ngor: I trust you will handle the situation well.
