‘’soon you will have your break, right?’’ he said to her.
‘’yeah.. thank God.’’ She answered. After Hana Yori Dango final movie was premiered last week, now the cast are doing some last promotion. Flew to many city on Japan, and then after one or two promotions more, she would get some rest.
‘’though I would be missed all the cast and crew.’’ She adds.
‘’sabishii ne (kinda lonely, isn’t it)?’’
‘’un (yes)..’’
Suddenly, Abe-kun opened the door. ‘’Mao-cha~n..’’ he called.
‘’haa~i (yes).’’
‘’here, Kato-san gave us this..’’ Kato-san is the actress who played as the dango shop’s owner. Abe-kun shown her a big box full of sponge cakeroll from a famous bakery in Tokyo.
‘’uwaaa..’’ Mao amazed.she took one, and eat it. ‘’amaaaii (sweet)..’’
‘’here, take one too..’’ Abe said to her hairstylist.
‘’ah domo (thanks)..’’
‘’ne.. are you gonna go with Shun-kun?’’ Abe asked.
‘’this weekend? Yeah.. wait, I thought all of you was also come.’’
‘’well, as far as I know it’s only you that already said yes. I think Shota will go somewhere with Ryuhei. Jun-kun.. he’s busy as usual, right?’’
‘’souka (I see).. and how bout you, Abe-kun?’’
‘’I have to handle something in Hong Kong. But if it’s cancelled, maybe I can attend.’’
‘’I hope you can come, too. It’s gonna be awkward if it’s only Shun and I.’’ Mao said.
‘’eh.. nande (why)?’’
Mao wants to answer, but then she realized that someone else might listening. She didn’t want to make any rumors so she just said, ‘’I’ll tell you later.’’
‘’okay then..’’ Abe said to her and then he sat down on the sofa. He grabbed a magazine and then read it as he wait for the other actors to come.
Not long after that, someone opened the door and call the hairstylist, ‘’are you done fixing her hair? I need some help.’’
‘’just a sec.’’ and then he said to Mao, ‘’yosh.. it’s done.’’
Mao say, ‘’thanks.. it’s nice.’’
As soon as the hairstylist gone, Mao turned her chair and she said to Abe. ‘’ne.. I didn’t want to made a gossip or something, but I cant keep this any longer. I kinda feel bad so I have to tell someone. Since I consider you as my older brother, is it okay if I asked you to keep this as a secret?’’
‘’you can count on me, Mao-chan..’’
‘’thanks. So, one day after the premiere, I accidentally heard Shun argued on the phone. I want stop stop listen and then ready to leave, but then I heard he mentioned my name. And I learnt from what I heard, he was talking with Yamada-san, and somehow I feel that Yamada-san didn’t really like it if Shun got too much attached with his co-star, the ladies of course.’’ Mao explained. Yamada Yuu is Oguri Shun’s current girlfriend.
‘’souka (I see). And what he said about it?’’
‘’to Yamada-san? I think he just said that don’t worry, it’s nothing or something like that. Well, it’s not like that he’s lying, right?’’
‘’as far as I know.. you’re right.’’ Abe said. ‘’so that’s why you didn’t want to go just by the two of you? Wait, Yamada not gonna come?’’
‘’I asked Shun yesterday, and he said.. um.. Yamada wants to hang out with her model friends.’’
‘’souka. Well, I try to be there, but if I couldn’t, I think you will be okay. You shouldn’t have to feel guilty when you’re doing nothing wrong.’’ He said to Mao and smiled.
‘’yes.. I think you’re right, thanks..’’ Mao feels so grateful to have such a nice friend like him. He’s older and matured so she oftenly got some good advice from him.
‘’btw, where’s the others? It’s unlikely to have Jun late like today..’’ Abe asked her.
‘’why don’t we go out to find them?’’ Mao said to him.
‘’you’re done with your make up?’’
‘’yeah yeah.. I think it’s enough.. come on..’’ Mao gets up and then they walked out from the dressing room.

Jun was outside near the studio, talking with Nino when Mao came with Abe.
‘’Inoue-san! genkidesuka (how are you)?’’ Nino greeted her and bowed to Abe-kun.
‘’hai (yes).. where’s Sakurai-kun and the rest?’’
‘’I don’t know,’’ Nino replied as then he laughs.’’I just came here to talk with the producer about my next project.’’
‘’really? You will have a new drama?’’ Mao seems interested.
Nino say with a lower voice, ‘’but keep this story low for now, okay?’’ as then she nodded.
‘’if everything is settled, the station will announce. Ryo-kun and Toda-san will join me.’’
‘’sugoooi (it’s great)! Ne, are you gonna be there on this weekend?’’ Mao asked him.
‘’yeah, Shun-kun just remind me about that. I will be there along with the other guys.. so I’ll meet you there.’’ Nino said.
‘’great! Ah excuse me but I think I have to go inside, see you on the weekend!’’ Mao said to him and then she walked to the studio after she waved her hand.
This weekend is actually nothing special, but somehow Shun managed to gathered all his friend –who was his co-star in all his previous work, that’s why it’s kinda weird to find that his own girlfriend, who also with him in his last drama, will not attend this time—just to sit around and have some drinks in his favorite pub.
And if this being heard by the media, it seems gonna be some kind of attraction to see many famous young talent gathered in one place at the same time, because actors who havent been on the same work with Shun might also be there.
Mao wondered how Shun’s gonna manage that, but she thinks that Shun was too ignorance about the press or else. He didn’t care whether they knew or not.
Sometimes Mao feels that this friend of mine was unfit to be in the entertainment world. There’s many actor and actress that she knew, they working so hard to maintain about their popularity as much as they work for a living as actors. But Shun isn’t one of them.
Behind the camera, he’s a natural born geek who loves to fooling around and smile goofily. And though he can be anyone after the director say ‘action’, after the ‘cut!’ he’s going back to his actual self, no matter if the media still put the spotlight on him.
Don’t get her wrong, Mao just respected him as a senior. And a good friend. Well, though actually, the rumors out there was right, Shun and her dated for a while, during the first season on Hana Yori Dango but that’s it. Both of them never actually on the boyfriend-girlfriend stage. They just casually dating at that time.
Enough about Shun. Because actually he’s right in front of Mao right now.
Now it’s time for her to do for some promotions with the rest of the cast.

‘’Pi-tan!’’
Yamapi jumped up as someone surprised him by patted his shoulder from behind when he was lying down on the sofa. There’s only one who called him like that, and also the one who invented it.
He turned his head and saw Nagasawa Masami standing there.
‘’hey.. what are you doing here?’’
‘’just done some photoshoots.’’ She shrugged.
‘’souka.’’
‘’I also came to say hi to Nishikido-kun. Where is he?’’
‘’hm.. I think he’s just left with Tego.’’ Pi answered.
‘’too bad. What are you doing here by yourself? Hey, I almost forgot, how’s the first episode?’’ she meant Code Blue.
‘’it got a good rating, that’s what I heard. I hope it would be get better, even got better than the previous drama in the same time slot.’’ Yamapi winked to her.
‘’Baka (stupid)!’’
Last friends, Masami last drama was on the same time slot and now replaced by Code blue.
‘’ne.. where’s Nino?’’ Yamapi asked.
Masami startled and looked at him, ‘’duh?’’ she rolled her eyes.’’you’re joking, right?’’
Yamapi cant help it, and then he laughs so hard. ‘’okay.. okay. I am! Of course I knew that you two was finally over.’’
‘’yeah, and it happened like.. so long time ago. During prodai, I guess.’’
‘’you told me.’’
‘’that’s why I thought you were got some kind of amnesia or something when you suddenly ask about him.’’ Masami punched him jokingly. ‘’Ah, or maybe being around the hospital actually contage you some sickness?’’ she laughs as she put her hand on Yamapi’s forehead.
They laughs together as then the door opens and the rest of NewS came in.
‘’ah! Konnichiwa (good afternoon)..’’ Masami greeted them.
‘’Masami-chaaa~n. Hisashiburi (long time no see)..’’ Nishikido Ryo so excited to see his co-star.
‘’kawaii (cute)..’’ Shigeaki Kato, or known as Shige said it as soon as he saw Masami, who’s now actually still wearing some make up and wardrobe from the photoshoots.
As for Massu, Tego and Kei, they just bowed politely then sat down and watch Masami talking with Pi and Ryo.
‘’wow, suddenly it’s so lively here..’’ Masami said as now there’s 7 people on this room.
‘’yeah, and you’re the prettiest.’’ Ryo teased her.
‘’aughhh stop it! You sound sooo cheesy..’’ Koyama Keichiro now talking.
‘’after being abusive to her now you’re praising her? Dammit Ryo!’’ Pi also teased him because of Ryo’s role on the Last Friends drama, as Masami’s abusive boyfriend.
Everyone’s laughing as then Ryo said, ‘’image change!’’ jokingly.
Suddenly, the door is opened, ‘’Yamapi?’’ a cute and feminine voice called him.
‘’Yui-chaan??’’ Tego shouts as he saw his ex co-star standing on the door.
‘’ah, dozoo dozoo (come in)..’’ the guys got excited since now there’s two lovely ladies on their dressing room.
‘’Yui-chaaan!!’’ ‘’Masami!!’’ and then both of the ladies hugging each other. They were on Dragon Zakura together so it’s just like reunion. Well, Pi also in that dorama too.
‘’ii na (it’s good, right)..’’ Massu said to the guys, who’s now watching Yui and Masami talking to each other.
‘’yeah, having two cute girls around us boys.’’ Shige nodded and the other agreed too.
And then the ladies realized that all of News members were looking at them, so they blushed and stopped being so excited.
‘’ah gomen (sorry), Yamapi.. I just gonna inform you about this.’’ Yui gave out some papers to him. It’s about scheduling.
‘’eeh, why you even bother to give it by yourself? Where’s my manager? She’s the one who should take care of these, not you! Gomen ne, Yui.’’ Yamapi apologized.
‘’no.. no it’s okay.. besides, I also want to meet Masami. And of course, all of you too. Lately works made me feel so stressful.’’ Yui smile sheepishly.
‘’well, feel free to talk with me anytime you want, just like the old days..’’ Tego said to her, back then when they were on My Boss My Hero, they kinda close because they got almost the same age.
‘’yeah, with me too.’’ Suddenly Ryo joined the conversation.
‘’NISHIKIDO-KUN!’’ all of the guys shouted on the same time.
‘’moouu (expression of frustration-red).. yamete yo (stop it).’’ Masami laughs as she felt that Ryo was so stupid.
‘’gomen ne, Yui-chan. Sometimes Ryo can be so irritating because he didn’t know whether it’s his charm or his bad behavior that he got so much in him.’’ Yamapi acted like he beg Yui for an apology.
‘’hey!’’ Ryo protested.
Yui laughs and say, ‘’ie.. daijoubu (no. it’s fine), I didn’t find him annoying.’’
‘’see?’’ Ryo said to the guys.
‘’and Pi-tan, you often act to be cool, too, you know..’’ Masami said to Yamapi.
‘’no im not!’’ Yamapi laughs as he jokingly patted Masami’s head.
‘’chotto (wait)! You messed my hair!’’ she said to him as she try to pushed his hand.
The two of them were playing around until, ‘’ano..’’ Yui suddenly talked.
Then Masami and Pi stopped, turned to see her. ‘’I think I better get going.. my manager’s waiting.’’ Yui said to everyone.
‘’ah, okay! Sorry to bothered you in your busy days.. and thanks you for this..’’ Yamapi gets up as he shown the papers that Yui gave to him earlier. He walked with her to the door.
‘’you’re welcome.’’ Yui said as then she’s now on the outside of the room.
And when Yamapi wants to close to the door, Yui called him, ‘’Pi..’’
‘’hai (yes)?’’ he replied.
‘’ah, ie.. betsuni (nothing really). Jya ne (see you)..’’ she waved and then walked away. But she still can hear Masami asked Yamapi, ‘’ne.. are you gonna attend on Oguri-kun’s party on the weekend?’’
