She blinks her eyes as she answered the phone. ‘why the hell everything always leads me back to him? I want us to be over just for his sake, but why.. it’s already so hard, don’t make this even harder!’
She sighed. ‘’what is it? we will meet in your house tonight, now what?’’ she try to sounds annoyed.
Pi just talked with a normal tone, as if he doesn’t bothered by her reply, ‘’actually, the manager called earlier, and we need to be seen together once again.’’
‘’is that so?’’ she seems not to believe in him, because the management actually didn’t inform her.
‘’yes. And.. I heard from Rina, about you actually wants to buy something for my mother. I can accompany you..’’
Mao thinks for a while, he will be a good help for her since he’s her son.
‘’why not?’’ then finally Mao agree.
‘’good, I’ll pick you up before lunch.’’
‘’n-no.. let’s meet on the spot.’’
Pi paused for a while as then he said, ‘’the weather seems not so friendly today. Please, don’t be stubborn this time.’’
‘’okay, whatever.’’ She answered.
He said before he hang up, ‘’look.. I don’t know whether I should tell you this or not, but.. actually the boss tell me that.. this might be the last time.’’
Mao’s eyes got bigger, ‘’e-eh?’’
‘’the publication might still on, but.. now it’s the time to let the curiosity begins.’’
Mao understand about stuff like this. This is the stage when actually everything was published and then just let the public to questioned about what’s really happened, before the rumors start to fade along with the time goes by.
‘’souka (is that so)?’’
‘’yeah..’’
From their voice, it seems that both of them are drowning in their minds as they just stay in silence for a while.
‘’so.. see you soon.’’ Pi is the one who break the silence.
‘’ah, hai (yes).’’

‘’so?’’ Koyama asked Ryo.
Ryo shrugged, ‘’he’s on a bad stage right now. His mood was bad, so yeah..’’
‘’off-mode.’’ Shige nodded.
Tegoshi speak up, ‘’tonight, Mao-chan was also invited to Rina’s mom’s birthday.. I wonder what will happen between them.’’
Ryo asked him, ‘’did the family know what happen to them?’’
‘’I don’t think so.. but Rina seems to be curious. Well, Yamashita-kun also didn’t tell us, right?’’
‘’maybe he just thought that.. it still can be fix.’’ Shige said.
Massu, who’s sitting on the sofa behind them, said, ‘’you know.. from what we heard from Nishikido-kun, it seems that Yamashita-kun now holding back and just let Mao-chan to think for a while, but their status are still as a couple, because Yamashita-kun still willing to fix this.’’
Ryo said, ‘’yes, that’s the plan.’’
‘’but if we thinking back a little.. it’s not really helping, right? as they were still linked with so many people and things around them. To be like that, wouldn’t it’s just make everything harder for Mao-chan? when you decided things to be over, it would be easier if you’re not lingering around anymore. At least for a while..’’
Everyone looked at Massu with a disbelief look.
‘’what?’’ Massu said. ‘’from my experience, it was so hard to faced someone we still care about. So.. I admire Mao because of this.’’
Pi, who was just enter the room, said, ‘’yeah? Actually, I kinda think the same way.’’
Then the others turned their heads to Pi.
‘’that’s why.. I decided, after tonight, if she really wants us to be over, then so be it. I don’t care if she did this for my sake or anything, and im not saying that I didn’t care about her anymore, but I did this so both of us wouldn’t be suffer anymore.’’ He said.
Tegoshi walked to Pi, ‘’but.. I thought that you two prefer to face the management and the people together?’’
‘’well, as we separated, then we both felt the same thing, right? the sadness, the will to move on, and then..’’ Yamapi just shrugged.
Tegoshi, who really admire the couple seems cant accept the fact. Ryo, on the other hand, try to be realistic,
‘’for me, as long as im still comfortable with one relationship, then I might still want to fight. But.. I guess it depends on the situations in each relationship.’’
Shige, was as straight-forward as usual, but a bit unusually sharp-tongue this time, ‘’I always thought that Yamashita-kun is a fighter, even if he’s on the off-mode.’’
Pi just staring at him, then to each of the members in silence, as he gets up from the sofa, ‘’ma.. don’t worry. This is will be over soon.. time will heal, right?’’
Don’t know whether it’s because his own problems or not, but Massu added, ‘’sadly, sometimes the time itself wouldn’t heal, because in the end, we’re the only one who can choose to where we step for our future. With, or without any regrets.’’
Massu walked out the room as he patted Pi’s shoulder before he left, ‘’good luck, leader.’’
Koyama sighed as he felt sorry for Pi also because somehow it’s also ruin Massu’s mood. The guy might still try to mend his heart. Then Koyama said to Pi, ‘’well.. you were the only one who knew what’s best for yourself, and for Mao-chan as well.. so, as friends, we were just hope that everything will be back to normal, whatever it is..’’
‘’thanks, guys.’’ Pi said.

Whether she did that on conscious or not, she actually dressed up for today. It’s still kinda cold nowadays, that’s why she wear a coat. But underneath that, she wore a white stretch shirt, and a high-waist denim skirt. As the skirt was a bit below her knee, so she thinks she doesn’t need to wear any stocking or boot. Just a pair of high wedges. She even wear a long necklace.
‘’hi.’’ She said as Pi walked inside her house. ‘’everyone’s out, so.. let’s go.’’
Pi actually wants to say hi to her parents as maybe he wouldn’t come by too often after this, but as no one’s there, so he’s just nodded and then Mao locked the door while he walked back to his car.
Somehow, from what he saw, Mao seems really happy today. On the other hand, he’s not feeling that good.
As she put her mocca-colored bag on the backseat, Mao said to him, ‘’so.. where are we going?’’
He started driving and he turned to see her, ‘’you choose. Im just accompany you to shop for my mom’s present.’’
‘’hm.. Omotensandou.’’ Mao put the point finger to her chin.
‘’okay.. then Omotesandou it is.’’ He said.
In their way, they just stay in silence. Mao suddenly turned her head to face him.
‘’nanda (what)?’’ Pi realized that he’s been the object of her stare.
‘’nothing..’’ she smiled as she shook her head, ‘’I just thought that.. today we’re kinda match.’’
Pi wore a brown leather jacket –while Mao’s coat is also brown colored, though on lighter shade-, then he wore a white t-shirt and dark colored jeans. He put on his glasses, just like Mao did too.
‘’yeah.’’ He chuckled, ‘’you’re right.’’
Mao did a gesture that almost make Pi stepped on the break. She used her hand to shift his jacket to see the t-shirt.
‘’ah, gomen (sorry), I almost forget that you felt ticklish on the waist.’’ Mao said. ‘’Russ-K? ehhh, Shige?’’
Pi rubbed his own waist as he felt ticklish and he turned the steer-wheel while he answered, ‘’yeah.. this is the limited shirts, the 6 of us trading up and I got Shige.’’
‘’and who got you?’’
‘’Tesshi.’’
Mao laughs, ‘’he must be so happy to get you.’’
Pi staring at her with a cold stare and he acts like he’s shiver, ‘’please.. your words scared me.’’ he laughs a bit, ‘’and not to mention I feel like I want to scream ‘enough of Tegoshi’ these days as Rina cant stop talking about him.’’
‘’and today he also will come to your house.’’
He sighed but then they’re staring to each other and laughs together. Their first laughs after.. more than 2 weeks.
After they finished laughing, Mao said, ‘’ne.. why don’t we enjoy today’s date?’’
When Pi didn’t say anything, she just added, ‘’as today might be the last chance we can appear in public with such freedom like this.’’
As he looked at her, they both have the same feelings, that if no one of them willing to take a chance, as the day ends.. as tonight’s birthday party is over.. then everything between them are also over.
Then Pi said, ‘’sure.. if that’s what you want.’’
She smiled at him, but as he turned his head to see the street, Mao said, ‘’what I did.. I just thought it’s for the best of you. Everyone might think im egoist as you’re still want to go through, but.. this is my decision. I hope.. you can understand it someday.’’
He patted her head, ‘’yes, Mao.. I know.’’ and then they continue their ride in silence.
Around 15 minutes later, they parked in the parking building in the corner of the block. As Pi took off the seat belt, he said, ‘’Mao..’’
‘’yes?’’ Mao reached out for her bag on the back seat.
He smiled and shook his head, ‘’nothing..’’ he helped her with her bag.
After they went off the car, Pi offered his hand. ‘’shall we go?’’
‘’yes.’’ Mao nodded happily as she reached his hand.
Just almost the same like what they did on the CM, they walked hand in hand so happily as they gathered attention. But they just don’t care. Pi walked behind her to every boutique she went into to find something nice for his mom.
‘’how bout this?’’ Mao showed a maroon colored bag as Pi shook his head.
‘’this one?’’ she asked.
‘’too bright.’’ He said.
‘’this blazer is good! It will look great on your mom.’’ she said.
‘’I prefer if you gave something casual for her. She must like it better.’’ He said.
But as they are looking for present, Pi also looking something for Mao, too.
He took a cute sweater and said, ‘’hey try this.’’ as he turned her around and helped her to took off her coat, to try the sweater on. But as he saw the back of her shirt, he put her coat back on again.
‘’nande (why)?’’
‘’w-why your white shirt is BACKLESS??!’’
Mao looked clueless for a while, but then she laughs really hard. ‘’ne..’’ she talked between the laugh, ‘’a body suit shirt is just like that.. it’s like ballerina’s clothes, right?’’
The usual Pi, who havent come out in these couple of weeks, finally appear, ‘’I don’t care! you’re not a ballerina either! Mao, don’t wear this kind of shirt again!!’’
She still laughs, ‘’yes, sir.’’
‘’mouuuu (geez)~~’’ he broke down on his knees, ‘’I cant imagine what if Im not there to warn you anymore.’’
After he said that, they both just stood up in silence. Mao said, ‘’don’t talk like that.. it’s.. it’s not you will be vanish..’’ she tried to joke.
Pi laughs a bit, ‘’sorry.’’ as he twitching his lips.
‘’im sure im gonna miss that.’’ Mao pointed.’’ah.. what am I talking about?’’
They continue the search for a present with an awkward atmosphere around them.
Walked in and out to every boutique, then Mao walked in one particular brand. She looked around and then she walked to one shelve. She looked around as then suddenly a clerk walked to her direction.
‘’ah, can you help me to pick that- eh??’’ the clerk took the bag down. It’s on the top of the shelves, that’s why she has to take it with a stick. ‘’but how do you know that I want to see that one?’’
The clerk bowed, ‘’im sorry, actually..’’ she pointed to Pi who leaned on the counter far behind, ‘’the young man over there wants to see this one too.’’
‘’ehh?’’ Mao walked to Pi.
‘’what? I like that one.’’ Pi said. ‘’ I think it’s a great choice for my mom.’’
‘’but-‘’ she said as then she realized that they had the same choice. ‘’do you want to give that to your mom?’’
‘’it’s from both of us.’’ He said.
Mao looked at him.
‘’dou (how is it)?’’
Then she nodded, ‘’okay..’’
Pi smiled as he turned to the clerk, ‘’great. We’ll take this one, and can you wrap it up? it’s for a present.’’
‘’hai, chotto matte kudasai (yes, please wait a sec).’’
As they went to the cashier to divide the bill, and waited the cashier to do his job, Mao unconsciously leaned to him as she looked around. Reflex, Pi rounded his hand on her waist as then he just kissed the top of her head slightly.
Mao turned to see him but Pi smile as if he made amends, realizing what he just did. She just wrapped her hand on his arm without saying anything.

‘’Otanjoubi omedetou (happy birthday)!!’’ Mao and Pi said as they went inside Pi’s house.
His mom who opened the door looked surprise.’’Mao-chann? Eeehh, arigatou (thanks you)!!’’
‘’Okaasan, this is a present for you.’’ Mao handled the present, ‘’from both of us.’’
‘’uwaaaa..’’ she looked happy.
They walked inside and Rina-chan greeted them, ‘’Mao-chann!’’
Tesshi is sitting beside her and waved his hand. Then he pointed to Pi’s shirt, ‘’ah!’’ he laughs.
‘’so.. as now everyone is here, why don’t we just start to eat?’’ Rina said.
‘’eh?’’ Pi asked his sister.
‘’yeah, I already cooked many dishes.. look!’’ she pointed to the table as Tesshi opened the cover.
‘’uwaaaaa..’’ Pi’s mom exclaimed as she clapped.
‘’eh, didn’t you know about this?’’ Mao asked her.
‘’Rina didn’t let me to uncover.’’ The lady laughs.
‘’good job, sis..’’ Pi said as Rina seems so happy and leaned to Tesshi, who still seems to be awkward to be close at her in front of Pi.
They enjoy the small party, as then after they finished eating, Pi’s mom opened the present one by one.
The present from Rina, is a denim. ‘’thank you, Rina.’’ Her mom kissed her cheek. She knew that his mother wants a new pair of jeans as she thought that her mom still look good on that.
Then she lifted the big bouquet from Tesshi, ‘’and the flower was so nice, thank you Tegoshi-kun..’’
Tesshi smiled and bowed politely.
‘’and the last one.. from both of you.’’ Pi’s mom smiled to Pi and Mao. As she opened it, she said, ‘’uwaa.. this bag is the one that I pointed out when we went to the store, right, Tomo?’’
Mao smiled as she asked Pi, ‘’is it?’’
‘’yeah, that’s why I told you this is a great present.’’ He said.
‘’thank you.’’ Pi’s mom hugged her and also Pi, too.
As then the boys are washing the plates and everything, Mao went to the backyard and played with Hime-chan.
Not long after that, his mom passed by with a tray of fresh fruit on her hand and then she went to her.
‘’Mao-chan?’’
‘’ah, hai (yes)?’’
‘’oh, you’re playing with Hime.. I just thought what are you doing in here.’’ she sat one the chair.
Mao smiled as she throw the ball to the dog.
‘’you see.. I kinda notice that my son was kinda different these days.’’ Suddenly the lady said that.
‘’eh?’’
‘’I.. just hope that everything is alright between you two.’’ She said as Mao sat beside her, ‘’you know that I like you, Mao. You seems to be able to understand my son.. and he treasured you too.’’
Mao cant say anything, but then she said, ‘’but.. because of what we do to work, it’s not easy to handle..’’ she knew that it’s not right to tell his mom about this, but.. she knew that his mom is wiser than her, so maybe she give her some advice. Her own mother once told her that she just hoping for the best for Mao, but maybe it’s kind of bit bias since Mao is her own daughter.
And just like her mother, Pi’s mom also said that words, ‘’well.. I always want my son to have the best things in life. And as far as I saw, you can give him the best companionship that he could ever ask for.’’
To hear that, Mao cant help but feel so overwhelmed.
‘’and.. as you grew older, you might understand, Mao.. that life isnt always easy. Love and work is two different things, where you also have many different duty and rights. But.. you have to understand one thing, not many people were blessed to be together until the end. Many of them were continue their life in heartbroken.’’ She paused for a while.
Mao can understand that she might talk about this out from her own experience.
‘’look at your parents.. they were still together but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have problems. It’s just that they succeed to get through it. But some people, they might successfully get through their life even if they doing it alone. It’s a good thing, I might say, but.. wouldn’t be better if there’s someone to share the success, the joy, even the tears?’’
The lady patted Mao’s shoulder. ‘’don’t worry, you’re still so young. Im about on your age when I have Tomo.. and you are still so free to choose what’s good for you.. for the people you care about. Everything might seems to be a mess for a while, but then.. you will find that it’s gonna be okay.’’ as she winked at her, ‘’for example, after what I’ve been through in my life, in the end I got two wonderful children, right?’’
Mao reached out Pi’s mom’s hand and say, ‘’thank you.. Okaasan.’’
After that, they went inside the house, Rina called Mao, ‘’Mao-chann, let’s take a picture!!’’
Then the 5 of them took some picture to capture this precious moment.

On the way to Mao’s house, they just took the ride in silence as now they were counting their last moment together as a couple.
Mao suddenly reached for his arm and hold on to it. Pi didn’t say anything and just let her.
As then they walked inside the house, her mother and father greeted them.
‘’ah, I heard that today is your mother’s birthday? Please congratulate her from us.’’ Mao’s mother said that.
‘’come here.’’ Mao’s father called Pi.
‘’yes, sir?’’
‘’try my new recipe.’’ The middle age man said as he pointed to sliced pizzas on the table.
Pi smiled as he was happy to meet her father. It’s like.. he’s having a father again. It’s so unfortunate, isnt it, when you have to lose everything? To lose Mao means he have to say good bye not just to her as oneself, but also to many good people, and good things that come along with her.
As he bite the pizza, now Pi realized that her presence was becoming more and more precious for him as Mao has given so much.
After he chatted for a while with her parents, and saying goodbye, then he’s ready to go home.
Mao walked him to the car, without saying anything.
He turned around and say, ‘’so this is it?’’
‘’yeah.. I think it is..’’ Mao said.
Pi suddenly shook his head, ‘’but I disagree.’’
‘’wh-what?’’ Mao said.
‘’somehow.. I still feel that one day you will come to my apartment’s door and say that everything is just a misunderstanding.’’
Don’t know maybe it’s because she was too sad or maybe feels too difficult to faced this, then she just looked down to hide her tears and say, ‘’how I hope you were right.’’
Pi reached out as he hugged her, ‘’we’ll see, Mao.. just wait and see.’’ Not long after that he just released her.
‘’it’s might be over, but this is not the end.’’ He still try to be optimistic.
Then they separate not even share a kiss for good bye.

Exactly one week after that, Mao graduated. Everyone was congratulate her, cheer for her. Many mails come to her cellphone, to her web. From the fans, and also from her friends, both from college, or work. Not to mention of course, her friends from the entertainment world.
From F4, and then all of NEWS members, the girls; Erika, Yui, Masami, Maki and also Toma, and many others were showering her with congratulation words. And one important person, also send a bouquet with a card.
‘’congratulations! And have a good celebration.
Yamashita Tomohisa.’’
She smiled to read that as she reminiscing, back on his graduation times, she was there with her. But now as he wasn’t there with her, at least she was glad that it’s not because he doesn’t want to, it’s because what they choose. To be exact, what she choose. Again, somehow Mao felt so selfish.
The management also congratulate her, JE too.
She took the card and keep it.
Then she type the mail for F4, short but meaningful,
‘’to my F4,
Let’s celebrate!!!
Mao.’’
So one day after that,
‘’kanpaiiii (cheers)!!’’
All the 5 of them are having a toast for Mao.
Shotan, who recently acted to be a photographer, was into photography because of his role, and he suddenly said, ‘’Mao-chan, I want to take your pictures with the hakama you wore on the graduation ceremony. It looks so great on you!’’
She laughs, ‘’thanks!’’
Then Abe came up with a present.
‘’eh, what is this?’’
‘’I went to visit my grandma last time,’’ Abe is half Chinese, ‘’and I got these. I heard that you more into the culture as you learn the language.’’ A book about Chinese ancient history.
‘’uwa~ thank you, Ton ton!’’
He laughs, ‘’and a panda bear for you.’’ as he throw slightly a fluffy doll.
Mao shrieked happily, ‘’kawaiii (cute)!’’
‘’yaaa~ Abe-kun was beaten the rest of us!’’ Shun said.
Jun laughs, ‘’I bet you too already prepare a present for her, right, Shun?’’
‘’of course, although I already gave her a big present for her last birthday, now I get this for her.’’ He took a box.
‘’ehhhh??’’ Mao was surprised, ‘’who would have thought that Oguri Shun can be so adorable? Look, it’s a charm bracelet!!’’
Mao showed to everyone as she also observed it. There’s 6 charm that hanging on the chain. A roll of diploma certificate, an director’s action board, a western’s graduation cap, a dog, a camera and then a star.
She stopped as she saw the last one. Mao took a glance at Shun who’s just smiling at her. She remembered, once she said that Shun is today’s Japan biggest star, but then Shun teased her, no matter how bright he is right now, but for Mao, there’s even a brighter star. None other than her own boyfriend.
She just smile sadly as then she turned to Jun, who shove a big box. She almost laughs if he’s not explaining.
‘’pretty shoes will take any woman to many great places, right?’’ he refers to Shizuka’s words on Hana Yori Dango.
She take a peek inside and saw a pair of a gorgeous blue branded shoes.
‘’wow.’’
‘’and it’s actually suits your blouse today.’’ Abe said as he also looked at the shoes.
‘’wanna wear it?’’ Jun asked.
‘’why not?’’ Mao smiled. Then Jun took the box on the floor, but that’s it. As he felt that it’s not his place to do such thing, Mao just put on the shoes herself.
‘’ah~ gomen ne, Mao-chan, Im the only one who didn’t bring any gift.’’ Shota said that.
‘’What are you talking about, im happy just to gathered around all of you! uwaaa~ all of you were really the F4 for me. Spoiled me with many attentions.’’
The guys are laughing, as Shun said,
‘’eh, nande (why)? Suddenly Mao being so formal on us.. she usually teased and slapping us around on the set, right?’’
Mao laughs as then she unconsciously slapped Shun’s shoulder, although it’s just lightly.
‘’hora (look)!’’ he pointed at her. As then everyone was laughing.

It’s been 2 weeks since she met Pi for the last time. Mao still met Ryo on Erika’s house, but she think that she still cant see him, at least not now. But as they were now were separated, temporary or not, the fact is just like that.
People from the management, both hers and Pi’s, already know about it too. And the publication begin to showed many confusing facts that actually successfully gain many attention. Some of the article informed that the short fling between the two aren’t go well, but some of them showed pictures when they were together.
Pi actually aware of the reaction of many people about this as the one that suffered and got attacks it was none other than Mao. And he kinda realized that actually this is what JE wants to show to the actress, how powerful the management can be.
He decided that he should do something to stop this. But he still try to find the way. He knew that he should handle this as soon as possible, before Mao suffered even more.
Meanwhile, Mao is checking up her web after trying to avoid it for a while, because although many of the comments are congratulate her from the graduation, many of them are actually continue to bashing her.
As she read randomly one by one, suddenly there’s one that caught her attention.
‘’are you really with Yamapi? but look at this picture.’’ The sender said that as then there’s a picture posted.
She gasped as then she felt like she wants to cry. ‘’what is this?’’ she said. And from the date on the picture, it was taking when she’s still in a vague term with Pi, if she’s not mistaken. And then she just transferred it to her cellphone and then she grabbed her bag and run.

On the train, she was so confused. She often fixed her glasses as then she also bite her nails continuously.
After she sighed a couple of times, suddenly,
‘’Inoue Mao-san?’’
She lifted her head and then a girl sat beside her.
‘’ehhhh.. how lucky am I to meet you here! I admire you soo much!’’ from the uniform, Mao knew that she’s still in junior high school.
Mao smiled to her as then the girl said, ‘’I love both of you and Yamashita-kun! you two are really good together!’’
To heard that, Mao frowned as she remembered about something.
‘’actually, once I met Yamashita-kun in this train, too.’’ then she realized something, ‘’ah, is it true? about all the rumors! Please please say it’s true.. I even told him that I love the photoshoot.. if someday I meet him again, I want to say to him that I love the CM even more!’’
Now she almost sure that this girl is the one that Yamapi once told her about. Then Mao said, ‘’thank you.. you’re so nice. He once told me about a girl that loves the photoshoot, then it might be you.’’
‘’eh hontouuu (really)??’’ she grinned. ‘’Yamashita-kun really is nice person, isnt he? Ah, but don’t worry, Nee-chan, im not gonna steal him from you.’’
Mao smiled as she thought that this young lady is just too adorable. But as she heard her saying that Yamapi is really nice, somehow she remembered about the picture again.
‘’Nee-chan, what’s wrong?’’ the girl realized her expression was changed.
‘’ah, nothing..’’
As the train get slower, the girl gets up, ‘’this is my stop, nice to meet you, Nee-chan..’’
Mao just waved and smile. To her surprise, the girl turned around before she walked out from the train, ‘’you know.. I didn’t believe all the bad rumors. Since I saw that photoshoot and I met Yamashita-kun in this train, I thought that both of you Ani and Ane (older brother and older sister) were a perfect match. Jya neee (byee)!’’
Then Mao just sat on the train as she took out her cellphone and saw the picture. If they really over, then why she still bothered with this picture? Is it only because it happens when they were still together? But is it really matter about when this was happen as no matter when, she might just still so jealous and sad as she look this picture..
She thought, is everything was difficult for Pi, too? but why he did that such a thing? To hurt her? no, he wouldn’t do that.
Looked at the date again, and she realized.. isnt that the night where Pi came to see her in Erika’s house? she still remember, because that’s her day off and she always remember the date of her day off. He does looked miserable at that time. Could it be.. because he was too confused with everything? And is he feel any regret?

Suddenly, Mao remembered what once Pi said to her. He’s right. He still just a human being. And even with his flaws, Mao still loves him. That’s what she always believed in herself.
She sighed. ‘if he can explain about this.. then I’ll forgive you. But.. he has to forgive me, too.. because I was trying to leave him without thinking what I turned him into..’

Pi gets up as he heard the bell on his apartment.
‘eh, who’s coming? All members are going to have their day off, Jin and Toma are kinda busy-‘ he thought when he opened the door,
‘’Mao?!’’ he almost shouted as he saw Mao stood in his door.
She showed him her cellphone. ‘’can you explain this? it happened on that night, right, when you came to Erika’s house.’’
Pi looked at the picture. It’s him, kissing with Chikako.
‘’God.’’
Then he just said, ‘’yes, im don’t deny it. And I know that whatever my reason is, you will be mad at me. So this is the fact.. I missed you so much as I couldn’t think. But you have to know that I came to my senses and stop whatever I did with her at that time as then I ran to you in Erika’s house. Im so sorry, Mao.’’
As Mao just staring at him, he shifted his stare and just looked down to the ground.
‘’I cant be like this anymore.’’ Mao said. ‘’as now the management knows that we are over, and many people are talking bad about me, I just don’t understand.’’
Pi lifted his head to see her as kinda surprised to see her teary eyes.
‘’Mao..?’’ he reached out and put one of his hand on her cheek.
‘’I was mad at you. But im also mad at myself. All of this happened because I was so stubborn and too pushy on believing that this is the better way for both of us.. for you.. if we were separated. Even when you were trying to convince me.. and I should believe you more..’’
He don’t understand what this monologue will turn to as he just continue to listen to her, and Mao added, ‘’you feel miserable, don’t you?’’
Pi doesn’t need to answer as then Mao said, ‘’im so sorry.. what I should do to have you back?’’
Before he can answer, Mao added, ‘’you were always so truthful and faithful to me.. so this is might not be happening if we still together, right?’’
He just nodded as he reached one of her hand. Mao’s burst of crying as she said, ‘’what do I.. need to do… to make you mine again?’’ she talked between her tears.
Pi cant hold it anymore, he just pulled her into his arms. Mao is still crying and didn’t hug him back, she just stand as stiff as she can be.
‘’like I said, you always be mine, Mao.’’
Then she finally hugged him back, ‘’never.. let me.. let you go again.’’
‘’never.’’ Pi smiled as he hugged her even tighter.
