Mao was so busy with Hana Yori Dango Final promotion tour around many cities in Japan. She was tired but actually it’s kinda fun to meet many people, and also because of a very nice crew she didn’t feel boring.
Of course, thanks to her 4 guys we know as F4, Mao never really feel this like a job. It’s more like a long trip, an endless one. Although too bad, their journey will finally end after this final movie.
As she watch the tv at the hotel that night, she stopped at one channel.
‘’ah, Code Blue.’’ She said. And then she watched it. Although she didn’t really like the needle or operation kind of thing, she finds that this drama is really interesting. Erika-chan played a strong-willed doctor, although sometimes she kinda annoying. Mao laughs a bit, because she remembered Erika’s role in HYD.
Yui-chan played a calm and kinda fragile doctor. Well, she still looks so cute in that blue uniform. But the one who caught her attention is the lead actor. Yamapi played a really different role this time, and it’s kinda impressed her.
‘’eeh.. Yanagiba-san?!’’ Mao laughs as she saw the actor who played as her father in anmitsu-hime, now playing as Kuroda Sensei, a senior doctor in Code Blue. ‘’kakkoiii (so cool)..’’
Suddenly, KNOCK KNOCK. ‘’Mao-chaaaa~n’’ someone called her from outside.
She walked to open the door. ‘’Shota-kun, nande (why is it)?’’
‘’we’re going to find something to eat, do you wanna come?’’
‘’um…’’ Mao turned to see the tv. Actually she still want to watch the drama, because she rarely get the chance. But then she said, ‘’okay, I’ll meet you downstairs. I want to get change first.’’
‘’ookay.’’ Then Shota walked out and closed the door.
As Mao get ready, she still watch the tv. Well, Mao really find it interesting. But then after 10 minutes, she turned off the tv and went downstairs.
When she reached the lobby, she saw Shun standing there. ‘’yo.’’
‘’hey, where’s everyone?’’ Mao asked as they start to walk.
‘’they already walk into the car. Well, Jun will attract many attention if he’s standing here waiting for you.’’ Shun said.
‘’and you think you’re not?’’ Mao laughs.
‘’aaw.. you’re overrated me.’’ Shun said with a smile.
‘’me? ha ha you sure know how to joke.’’ Now Mao is faking a laugh as she can saw many eyes turn to see them right now. ‘’you know, people gonna think that you’re getting dump by Yamada-san and then you turned to me.’’
‘’what are you talking about? There’s no such thing like that.’’ Shun said to her, but then he kinda avoid the topic.
As they reach the big vehicle, Shun opens the door so Mao can enter.
‘’Makino..’’ Abe called her.
‘’Konbanwa (good evening/night), Akira.’’
‘’Ma~Kino..’’ Shun followed him by calling her with Rui style.
‘’shut up.’’ Mao said to him, jokingly. Then Shun pouted as he said, ‘’mean girl.’’ and act sleepy like the marble-eye prince.
Jun who sat in front of her said, ‘’gomen (sorry) ne, we cant wait for you in the lobby.’’
‘’ah, daijoubu (don’t worry).’’ It’s not like a big deal anyway.
‘’by the way, how’s your hand?’’ he asked.
‘’um.. well, it’s okay.’’ The same doctor was taking care of the stitches, and now it’s fine. Too bad she didn’t meet Yamapi at the hospital when she came to meet the doctor.
‘’ne ne ne.. look, there’s a maid café!’’ Shota suddenly pointed his finger to the window. ‘’kawaii (so cute)..’’
‘’it reminds you to the maid-dressed Makino, right?’’ Abe said to Jun. And then they laugh.
‘’yeaahh, you’re right.’’ Jun said between his laugh. ‘’it’s so hysterically funny, the Domyouji’s imagination.’’
‘’God, don’t you feel embarrassed? Even I will be shy.’’ Shun asked.
‘’you? out of everybody, you, Oguri Shun, will be shy to act hentai (pervert) like what Domyouji have in mind on that scene?’’ Mao asked.
And then Shun burst out laugh. ‘’yeah yeah.. you got me this time. But I will pay everything if I can act that part.’’
‘’as Rui? Such an image change.’’ Shota said.
‘’as Domyouji, of course! There’s no way a pure guy like Hanazawa Rui have such a thought like that.’’ Shun answered as he laugh.
And then they started to talk about when the 4 of them played each other role on Shun’s radio talkshow, All Night Nippon. At that time, Shun and Jun switch role, Abe and Shota too.
‘’it was so funny, in a weird way, yeah.’’ Mao commented.
Soon after that, they walked into the restaurant that Abe recommended. Then Mao remember something,
‘’ah!’’
‘’nani (what is it)?’’ the 4 of them asked in unison.
‘’eh.. iya betsuni (no it’s nothing).’’ Mao smile a bit to saw their reaction. ‘’what are you? F4?’’ she teased them.
Then the guys just laughing as they get into the restaurant. But then as they sat on the lounge, Mao said to Shun, ‘’ne.. I just remember. Do you have Yamashita-kun’s number?’’
‘’Yamapi?’’
‘’Hai (yes).’’
The other is looking at her like they think, ‘why suddenly you ask about his number?’
‘’I just want to informed him about my hand. He looked really troubled at that time.’’ Mao said as she can read their expression.
‘’well, he should.’’ Jun said.
‘’hey..’’ Mao protested.
‘’sorry, Mao, but I guess Jun’s right. I send you the number. And also his mail address.’’ Shun said to her.
‘’hai, domo (yes, thanks).’’
Somehow, Mao felt that the guys blaming Yamapi for the accident. Well, it’s true that she got in trouble, since she cant wear a sleeveless blouse unless the wound will visible. But now it’s getting better, and with a bit of make up powder kit, it almost invisible.
It’s not like she’s on Yamapi’s side, but she just didn’t want to make a fuss about it. She hates to be a weak person. Woman, to be exact. And maybe she got it from the Tsukushi’s role too.
The restaurant isn’t a fancy one, it’s just a normal kind of ramen shop. But a friend of Abe-kun said that they got the best noodle in town. There’s even a 21-inch tv over the cashier. Such a normal restaurant. But they kinda miss this atmosphere. Being in HYD movie really brought an exclusive atmosphere, and for them somehow it’s not like them.
‘’can I switch the channel, Ojisan (grandpa)?’’ Shota asked the shop’s owner. There’s only 7 people in that place; them, their driver and the owner. Maybe because the busy hours have passed.
‘’sure. All of you are the people who usually be on the tv, right?’’ Ojisan asked.
They laugh a bit. ‘’but today, we are here, enjoying your ramen.’’ Abe-kun, as usual, very nice and polite.
‘’ah! Stop! I want to see that channel. Uwaa it’s only 15 minutes left.’’ Mao said to Shota as then she looked at the clock.
‘’eh?’’ Shota asked. ‘’Code blue?’’
‘’hai (yes).’’ And then Mao watched the dorama as everybody eats their own ramen.
‘’ne..’’ Shun asked.
‘’nani (what is it)?’’ Mao said as her eyes still staring at the tv.
‘’iya, betsuni (no, it’s nothing).’’ Shun said.
‘’hm.’’ That’s all.
About 5 minutes later, ‘’Mao-chan.. eat your ramen.’’ Now Abe turns.
‘’hai hai (yes).’’ Mao broke her chopstick apart.
And right before the drama ends, Shota said, ‘’uwaa.. im so full.’’
Mao finally set her stare apart from the tv after the closing credit and the teaser for next episode was finished.
‘’eh?’’ when she turns to see her bowl, it’s almost empty. ‘’but.. I havent.. eat. Ah! SHOTA!’’ she pointed her finger to Shota who currently laugh to see her expression.
‘’what?’’ he asked.
‘’you ate my ramen, right?’’
‘’noo.. I only laughing at you. Why me?’’ he answered and then he turns to ask Abe.
Suddenly Shun burped. ‘’ah.’’ And then he took a glance at Mao.
‘’ SHUNN.. bakajana (stupid)..’’
Shun cant help but laughing really hard. ‘’gomen gomen (sorry).. it’s because you wasting the ramen. It’s not that good if it’s already cold, so.. ‘’
Jun straightly raise his hand and say, ‘’Ojisan, one tori (chicken) ramen please..’’
‘’haai (yes).’’ Ojisan replied.
‘’domo (thanks), Jun-kun.’’ Mao said as she took a gyoza (dumpling) and eat it.
Shota opened his mouth as if he asked Mao to spooned him the gyoza. And Mao understand it, then ‘’aaaa~n.’’ Shota ate the dumpling from Mao’s chopstick.
‘’oishii (yummy)..’’ he said with his mouth full.
‘’ne Jun-kun.. suddenly I remembered about this kinda scene in your date with Ooshima-san.’’ Mao said.
‘’ah! That funny lady?’’ Abe said.
‘’stop it..’’ Jun seems embarrassed. It’s from a show that Arashi hosted. Nino and Aiba co-hosted it, while Jun have to go on a date as Domyouji with a lady name Ooshima Miyuki. And suddenly Mao-chan appeared as Tsukushi, along with the actor who played as Tsukushi’s papa and Nishida-san.
‘’I was laughing really hard behind the camera, you know..’’ Mao said.
‘’yeah, I saw it. Nino was so satisfied after being successfully making me embarrassed like that.’’ Jun said but then he also laughs. ‘’and you.. also making me nervous for suddenly appearing as Makino.’’
‘’gomen gomen.. Nino invited me, and I thought, ‘why not’? and it’s so fun because Ooshima-san is soooo funny!’’
They continue the story as the other keep teasing Jun. Of course, now they’re close enough so they can easily bullying Jun like that. Not many people can do that towards him. But after doing HYD season 1, Jun also seems so comfort to be with the cast.
‘’ne.. speaking about dating, I kinda curious.. why suddenly your atmosphere is full of Yamapi?’’ Shun asked her.
‘’ha?’’ Mao shocked. ‘’what do you mean?’’
‘’is his impression really that good at the other day? Even after hurting you like that,‘’ Shun pointed to Mao’s injured hand,’’you seems not mad.’’
Mao is laughing. ‘’you’re funny. It’s because I know he didn’t mean it. And how many times do I have to tell you guys? For God sake, it’s just a scratch. It’s not like he has to marry me if this wound leaves a scar.’’
But then her commented seems wrong, since suddenly Abe said, ‘’uuuu.. just meet for a while and then now you’re talking about being married.’’
‘’Abe-kunnn.. don’t be such a bad guys like them!’’ Mao said as she pointed her finger to Shota and Shun.
‘’why meee?’’ Shota asked.
‘’Yamapi knows about your admiration to Prodai, you know.’’ Shun teased her.
‘’I know that he knows. And besides, it’s the drama that I adore! Not him!’’ Mao said in desperation.
‘’ah.. you’re cheek is burning.’’ Suddenly Jun joined the others.
‘’not you, tooo.. ‘’ Mao startled since Jun also mocking her. ‘’whatever!’’ then she gets up and ready to leave.
‘’Mao-chaaa~n..’’ the f4 said almost in unison.
‘’what?!’’
‘’untenshu-san (the driver) is still eating…’’ Shota said as he looked at the driver who’s now smile to Mao.
‘’NOOOOO..’’ Mao actually said it.
Then the guys laughing histerically.
‘’Hallelujah Chance! NOOOOO..’’ Shota mimicking Yamapi’s role in proposal daisakusen.
‘’ie (no), I oftenly heard a girl screaming ‘Arienaitsuuunoooo’ (it’s unbelieveable) in my emergency stairs at Eitoku.. I wonder who is she…..’’ Shun said with Rui’s tone.
Mao pouted as she said, ‘’HANAZAWA RUI! Stop it!’’ as then the guys continue to laughing out loud.
