.Early Autumn 2009
Yamapi walks in the studio. He worked with the member for magazine photoshoot earlier, and now they were finished.
‘’so, where do you want to go?’’ Ryo asked Shige. Both of them walk behind him.
‘’minna (everybody), how about we go for a drink..’’ Massu gave his opinion as everyone including Pi the leader turned to see him. So the gyoza lover Massu frowned,‘’what?’’
‘’iya (no).. it’s just.. rare to hear that from you.’’ Koyama said.
‘’well, I was the one who rarely go out with all of you, so.. I think it’s good to change, somehow.’’ Massu shrugged. Not to mentioned he's actually just argued with his childhood friend AND current girlfriend Aira, so he wants to hang out with the guys.
To heard that, Yamapi patted his fellow member’s shoulder and Koyama as the oldest smiled, ‘’yosh! Let’s go!’’
‘’oi, Tegoshi!! Hayaku (come quick)!!’’ Ryo shouted, scary as usual.
‘’hai hai hai, wakarimashita (yes, I understand)!’’ there’s a reply from inside the room nearby and not long after that, Tesshi appeared.
As Ryo told the manager about their plan, Yamapi said, ‘’meet you all in the place.’’
‘’hai (yes).’’ Koyama replied him.
Today, he brought his car, so he cant join with the others in the management's car. While walking to the parking lot by himself, he took out his phone and dialed a phone number.
The call is connected, but there’s no one answered.
He chuckled and just turn off the phone while he gets to the car.
‘’at least I know that she’s already at home after those promo thing.’’ He commented as he sits on the driver's seat.
Mao is working really hard on her movie, Boku Kimi and recently, the only time they can spend together is only after 10 pm.
Many of her plans like dinner date and dvd's night were often ruined by her own schedule, and it really pisses her off. Pi knew that she's already upset, so he doesnt complain. It’s just making everything worst.
'well, my schedule can be so tough sometimes, too.. And she always been so understanding.' he thought. ‘besides, we cannot help it when it comes to work.’
But of course, Pi is also the one who smiled happily with her when her movie gains success on its premiere a week ago.
His mother even praised her, ''Mao-chan, I saw you on the morning news, you look so adorable with Okada Masaki-san!''
As Pi was there too, he snorted loudly, ''yeah, right.''
Mao and Yamashita Naomi, both staring at him.
''what?'' he said, ''you do look cute,’’ then he turned to his mother, ‘’but there's no way that she looks good to be together with Okada-kun.''
Rina passed the living room and singing, ''jealous jealous onii~~~~ (older brother)''
His mother laughs, ''ah, gomen ne, niichan,'' she looked at her only son, ''my bad.''
Mao giggled happily as she saw him pouting his lips before he went to the kitchen to hide his moody face.
Although somehow, when he thought about it right now, it does make him laugh too. He might be a 24 years old guy with a mature mind, but when it comes to his woman, he cant help being jealous and protective. Even to a shy and nice younger guy like Okada Masaki.
''Baka (stupid)!'' he laughs to himself as he stopped the car in an intersection.
And he's actually so thankful that Mao understands the bad side of him, she even introduced Masaki to him back then during the filming days.
Right now, Pi can see the place that he will gather up with the rest of the member, so then he's just trying to find a parking space for his car.
While he's doing it, he remembered that he and Mao were fighting in the car once. And the reason is, back to jealousy.
Mao's highschool friend, appears on Boku Kimi's blog in a picture where he kissed Mao's poster. Yamapi didnt mad because of that, but he's mad because that friend of her suddenly hugs her when they met, not too mention Yamapi was there too.
''it's not a hug, for God's sake, Tomo!'' Mao defends her friend on their way back in Pi's car.
''then what is it, huh? Beside, you two have met yesterday! Why the hell he got so excited to see you again??'' he chuckled.
Mao shook her head. This friend of her, the last time they met is like.. 3 years ago? And so that's why he's still pretty much miss her silliness, and just wrapped his hand on Mao's shoulder while he messes her hair with his other hand.
''he lives abroad, so it's a normal thing to do for him..'' she chuckled, ''besides, those model friends of yours often being too friendly to you too, mister.''
He took a glance at her as he's driving, ''but I never like that to them.''
''and did you see I was being too friendly to my friend too? Please just cut it out..'' she sighed.
They both stay in silence for a while, before then Pi said, ''fine. Im sorry.''
She looked at him with the corner of her eyes while he said, ''how about a kiss?''
The yellow light turns to red, so he stopped the car.
''no way. You're the one who annoyed me, why would I want to kiss you?''
He chuckled, ''meanie.'' then he kissed her cheek quickly. ''but that doesnt mean I cant kiss you.''
She wiped her cheek as Pi exclaimed, ''Maooo~~~''
''what?'' she just replied ignorantly. But as Pi saw that she's actually smiling -though she tried to hide it-, then he said, ''a long time friend or not, I just dont care when it comes to my woman.''
''not againnn.'' she said, but it makes her teased him more, ''hm.. now I really wanna see what if it's Shun?''
''i'll show him my Domyouji's mode.'' Pi puts his sunglasses on with a cool gesture as he drives the car after the light turns green.
Mao cannot stop laughing at that time as it makes him smiling too when he finished reminiscing because he found a parking space.
''I wonder.. Maybe my sense of humor really brought up by her influence too.'' he said to himself.
After he parked the car, he went inside the bar. And not long after that, the rest of NEWS appears.
They were all having a good time as before they realized, it's already 2 AM.
Ryo and Koyama are the oldest ones, but they were surprisingly are the one who seems easy to get drunk, along with Tegoshi the youngest.
So as Tesshi's home is on the way to Pi's apartment, he took him while the others go with the management's car.
About 30 minutes later, after dropped Tesshi's to his house, Pi finally arrived in his place.
He checked on his phone, there's still no call and message. Besides, Mao might already fell asleep by now.
When he walks inside, he heard someone's sobbing. The TV seems to be on too, because of its lights illuminate the dark room.
''ehh?? Momo? I dont know that you will sleep here tonight, a-and why are you crying?? Mao?'' He put his bag down to the floor and went to turn the lights on.
Mao is sitting on the sofa, with tissues in her hand. ''why?''
''why.. What?'' he sat beside her slowly, and Mao just leaned her head to him, ''hey, why dont you call me so i-''
''why Jihoo-san cannot be with Jandi?'' Mao sobbed.
''huh?''
Mao pointed to the tv. Now he gets it why she doesnt call and why she cried.
Pi sighed, ''not you,too!''
His mom and sister were so into Korean HYD, Boys over Flower, about a couple of months ago. Mao wants to see it too, but as she was so busy, she cannot borrow the dvd from Rina, even though that sister of Pi already offered it.
It seems that she finally borrows it from her right now.
But because of his kindness to his beloved girlfriend, then Pi still took her in his arms and pats her head while he's just smiling at her silliness.

Later, in the morning.
''Tomo.. Ne, okite (hey, wake up). Tomo..'' Mao rubbed his arm slowly. ''you said that you want me to wake you up..''
He just groaned as he pulled his pillow to cover his head.
''Tomoo..'' she want to pull him so she took both of his hand to make him get up. It's a hard thing to do since she's small compare to him, but it wont hurt to try. ''just. Get. Up.'' she said and do just one pull.
Surprisingly, she succeed. But as now Pi were like a zombie, sitting on the bed unstable like that, suddenly he's stumbled and,
''kya!'' she exclaimed as she cant move with her back on the bed, because Pi were lying there beside her, and she trapped by his arm. ''Tomo! I mean it, get up! I cant breath!'' she pushed him.
He just mumbled and hug her.
''just let me sleep for a little while,'' he whispered, ''Ma~kino.''
Mao blinked and pushes him with just one push. As now she gets up, and sit on the bed, she was blushing so she patted her cheek abruptly.
Pi opened one of his eyes and he's smiling secretly as he saw that view before his smile turns into laugh and that’s why he get a light smack in the back from Mao.
About 20 minutes later,
He already took a shower and ready to leave when Mao is washing the dishes on the kitchen. She dry her hand and said, ''last night I cant stop watching the dvds and I forgot to do it..''
''still, im the one who supposed to do that, not you.'' he kissed the top of her head.
''yes, but if you're not, your mother is the one who done it and it makes me feel so bad.'' Mao shook her head.
Tomo smiled as he's happy to see his kind-hearted girlfriend. ''I'll help you to dry the plates. And.. I'll wash those plate that we use for breakfast.'
''but you're gonna be late.'' Mao protested, ''how about.. We both do the cleaning and stuff tonight. After work.''
''good idea.''
but when Pi arrived at home about 9 pm later that night, Mao's eyes were already fixed to the TV.
''not again.'' Pi said as then Mao pointed to the sink, ''I already cleaned out the dishes, and..’’ she pointed to coffee table in front of her,’’the dinner's ready.. So we can have dinner together in here.''
He laughs, ''and so I could just look at your admiring stare to the Korean Domyouji while we're eating?''
She looks at him, ''of course not.. Why did you say that?''
''well, since you are Makino, no matter what you will choose Domyouji-''
''Goo Jun Pyo.'' Mao corrected him.
''yeah, I mean him.''
Mao shook her head, ''no..''
He smiled, once Mao told him who’s her favorite among the F4, ''as expected, you prefer Soujiro, a playboy who turn into a good boy after he found the one, he sounded just like me, isnt it-''
But his smile vanished as she said, ''no, in this version, I fell in love with Hanazawa Rui's role.''
''ehh~~ nandeeee (why)?'' he said but his hand took the chopstick.
She shrugged, ‘’Shota-kun’s Soujiro is just so cool, but Kim Hyun Joong-san’s Ji hoo is just..’’ then she sighed.
Pi looked at her with an annoying stare because she seems so mero-mero (in love).
To see him, it seems that she knew she might overly teased him, so she looked at him, ''are you hungry?''
''I am.'' he nodded, and before he does anything, she took a piece of chicken and said, ''aaa~~'' as she spooned to him attentively.
Pi doesnt have any choice then to eats the food. And as he chewed it, he said, ''oihi (oishii=delicious).''
''arigatou (thanks)..'' she smiled thankfully because he gave a compliment of her cook.
He was just gonna open his mouth happily, but..
Then she put the rice bowl on his hand and pushed the plate of chicken and veggies close to him.''now.. Can I continue to watch Ji hoo?''
Pi bites the chopstick and sulked.

On the next day, later at 2 AM,
Pi and Mao walked hand in hand to go to the konbini (convenient store) nearby, because that’s what they recently do when they’re both craving for something after midnight.
As the weather got crazy in this kind of hour, Mao even borrowed one of his winter coats.
‘’you know sometimes I envy Masuda-kun.’’ she said.
‘’eh? Massu?’’ Pi asked.
‘’yeah.. you told me about how strong he is against the cold.’’
Pi laughs, ‘’ah, yeah.. you’re right. well, I don’t know about envy him or not, but im just cannot understand how he stand it.’’
‘’you’re mr. Sunshine, of course you will hate winter and only love summer.’’ Mao leaned her head lovingly to his arm as she wrapped her hands on it, just wanting her boyfriend to pat her head or something.‘’or better, you only love me.’’
‘’baka (stupid).’’ He patted her hand, as then he said, ‘’hey, did Rina tell you about people in the internet say I looked similar to the guy who played Hanazawa Rui in Korean version?’’
‘’Ji-hoo-san?’’ Mao’s staring at him. ‘’yeah.. she told me about that, and he pretty successful with his band here in Japan..’’
‘’and you think he and I looked similar?’’ he asked.
‘’hm..’’ she pretend to think for a while.
‘’oh, come on, is it that difficult? You see me almost everyday!’’
‘’but I was so mesmerized by Ji-hoo recently!’’
Again, Pi’s staring at her with annoyed look.
She slapped his arm playfully, ‘’tsk, you know what I mean..’’
‘’yeah yeah.. so?’’ he chuckled.
Mao stopped and it makes him too. Then she put both of her hand on his cheek and looked at him really closely.
‘’hmm.. you’re more handsome than him.’’ she said as if she’s a judge who just gave out a result.
And when she released her hand then continue to walk, Yamapi exclaimed, ‘’yeahhhh! Eat that, Rina!’’ he said that because Rina used to mock him, that he’s not as kakkoi (cool/handsome) as Hyun Joong.
After Mao heard that, she turned around, ‘’of course you are, my boyfriend is the handsomest guy on earth.’’ And because she’s laughing, Yamapi frowned.
‘’wait, so.. if you’re not my girlfriend, actually you thought he’s better than me?’’
‘’mouuuu~~~ are you really that eager to win everything?’’ she still giggled.
‘’I just want the honest answer, Momo.’’ He twitched his lips.
Mao pointed out, ‘’what if I ask you, which one prettier, me.. or Sada Mayumi-san?’’ Mayumi is the one who played Shizuka in HYD.
Pi opened his mouth to answer, but Mao said, ‘’I prefer not to hear it because knowing that you’re the person who wants to be honest the most, I knew your answer would be Sada-san.’’
He nodded slowly and sigh, ‘’you knew me so well.’’ Although then he grabbed her to pull her closer, ‘’but I still choose you over her if I were Hanazawa Rui.’’
She pinched his cheek as she said, ‘’yes, because the script does say so, silly.’’
Then he shook his head and give an innocent look, ‘’no, not because of that.’’
Mao just laughs, ‘’well, even if you said your exes were prettier than me, I can live with that.’’ she released herself and start to run as she’s singing playfully in English, ‘’Just say it’s me that you’re adore, for now and ever more.. that’s all..’’* since she was a little, her father loves to listen to an old Western song so it’s just like her lullaby.
He laughs as he walks to her when she turns to look at him and smile, ‘’yeah Momo, maybe some of them are really pretty, but Im still want you more than anyone else..’’
She grinned but then she said, ‘’ah, hazukashii ka na~ (it’s embarrassing, isnt it)’’
Then because now they can see the konbini about a couple of meter ahead, she pretend to be shy as she ran to the konbini as she covered her face with both hands.
‘’yeah, it is.’’ Pi just ran to catch her up and ended up laughing together once again.

But 3 days after that, when Pi walked into his apartment.. Mao wasnt there.
''I didnt remember that she has something to do for today.'' he said to himself. ''maybe she call me later.''
So he's just eating dinner by himself with the yakiniku beef that he brought home. And when he sat down on the sofa, he just chuckled after he saw Rina’s dvd on the shelves.
‘’somehow I missed her expression while she watches the drama.’’ He said, but then.. ‘’and why the hell im talking with myself like this? mouuuu~ where is sheee..’’
Then on the next day Mao appears with a big smile on her face.
‘’hey..’’ she greeted him, ‘’I don’t expect you will be here.’’
‘’well, I have nothing to do other than my solo thing..’’ he shrugged.
‘’gomen (sorry), last night my battery was low and then it just died before I even get home from a series of photoshoot.’’ She explained.
He patted her arm, ‘’it’s okay.’’
Following him to the kitchen, she changed her path to go to the living room.
‘’another dvd marathon night?’’ he pulled back so he can talk to her from the kitchen.
‘’no..’’ she said in a louder voice so he can hear her, ‘’why?’’
‘’betsuni (nothing).’’ he answered. Not long after that, he goes to the living room with a plate full of yakisoba (Japanese fried noodle).
Mao is just staring at him, analyzing what he did; walked to the sofa, put the plate, then walked back to the table to take a bottle of water, and then sit on the sofa beside her.
‘’what?’’
She shook her head, ‘’betsuni (nothing).’’
He laughs, ‘’nanda sore (what the hell is that)? you just repeat my answer.’’
Hearing that, Mao was smiling too, ‘’ah, you’re right.’’ as she took the chopstick, she said, ''actually, when I went to the um.. Tv station, there's a publicist I knew, somehow she found out from my stylist-san, that I kinda um.. like Kim Hyun Joong-san.. I mean, admire.. No, Idolize..''
Pi lifted his eyebrows as he heard her stuttered, ''yeah yeah, I got the idea. And then..?''
''well.. As this publicist was like an old acquaintance to the people in my management, she um.. Offer a rendevouz with the Hallyu (Korean) star.''
And now with the eyebrows frowned, ''when?''
''he's in Japan with his band until next week..'' Mao hung her sentence. And her voice became smaller too.
''Naruhodo (I see).'' he replied.
She take a look at him carefully, he was eating the yakisoba from the same plate and he's watching night news and update on the television.
As if there's no conversation before, Pi just ask, ''dont you want to watch the series?''
''eh?'' Mao a bit off-guarded since she's staring at him, thinking whether he was kinda upset about what she said earlier or not, ''Boys Over Flower?''
''yeah, what else..'' he nodded.
''um.. I finished it yesterday.'' she answered.
Pi's eyes staring at the dvds on the shelves again, and she noticed that so she tells him, ''I took home the dvd of the last one with me.''
''ah, souka (I see).'' he replied shortly again.
He continued to eat so Mao is staring at him again.
After 3 minutes, he said, ''what is it, Mao?'' he's actually noticing from the start.
She shook her head and bite her lips. Then unconciously, her lips pouting.
''and now you're sulking?'' he teased her, ''wasnt I suppose to be the one who act like that instead of you?''
''I know you're gonna be mad after you heard what I just told you.'' she said.
Pi laughs, ''do I look mad to you?''
She chuckled, ''your look is just like Kenzou when he hides his feelings toward Rei.''
''really?''
''yeah, and it makes me feel uneasy.''
He patted her head without losing the smile from his face. ''So.. Do you want to meet this guy or not?''
Mao turned her head so quick it surprised him, ''bikurishita (you shocked me)!''
''are you gonna let me..?'' she whispered to him, cannot believe what he just said, knowing that Pi is competing to be Japan's no. 1 jealous boyfriend.
''well, I would if you want-'' he just shrugged but then she hugs him so tightly.
''thank youuuuuu.. Uwaaa~ choo ureshiii (im so happy)!!’’ Mao shouted excitedly with her arms around him.
Pi twitched his lips and said, ‘’I don’t know what’s more ironic, that I made you happy because I loosen up my jealousy or the fact that I got a hug from you because of that Korean actor.’’
Then Mao laughs, ‘’aaaww.. so then why you let me meet the guy?’’
He leaned his back to the couch, ‘’tsk.. because I know that you’re just like him as in like ‘like’.. not love. Admiring someone isnt a crime, I can still live with that fact.’’
She looked at him and then asked, ‘’but what if after I met him, I fall for him?’’
The yakisoba almost falls out from his mouth as he eats with the chopstick, ‘’wh-‘’ then Pi wiped his mouth, ‘’ah, you really are something, Mao.’’
‘’what?’’ she pulls back a little as she could see what he might want to do.
‘’did you really try to mess up with me? huh?’’ he put the plate and the chopstick down to the table.
‘’stop.’’ Mao said as her laugh bursts. ‘’you know Kenzou wouldn’t dare to tickle Rei.’’
Pi gave her a mischievous smile, ‘’oh, but Yamashita Tomohisa wont lose to Inoue Mao.’’ as then he’s just tickled her without mercy.

On the day Mao was scheduled to meet up with Kim Hyun Joong, she goes to see Pi at NEWS’ studio at night.
‘’Konnichiwa~’’ she greeted Massu and Tegoshi, only the two of them are inside the room, beside one staff who’s also there with them.
‘’Mao-chan, long time no see.’’ Massu said to her.
‘’waiting for Yamashita-kun?’’ Tegoshi asked.
‘’yeah..’’ she answered as she sat down on the sofa, ‘’he said he’s gonna be here soon.’’
The staff gave her a cup of tea and she thanked him. But then, the three of them are walking out from the room. They have to do some recording for TegoMassu’s concert.
‘’just make yourself at home,’’ Tegoshi said and Massu added, ‘’as usual.’’
Mao smiled and nods her head.
Now as she was alone at the room, she took something out from her bag. She will do something to kill the time.
Then 3 hours later,
‘’im late, im lateeeee.’’ Pi went into the room in a rush as then there’s 4 peoples do the same thing.
''ssssshhh!!''
He jumped a little bit as Tegoshi, Massu, Koyama and Shige told him to shut up.
Ryo pointed to the couch in silence.
''ah, hai hai (yes).'' Pi nodded understand.
Mao is sleeping as she curled up on the big sofa. The coffee table was pulled to be close to it, and there's a small laptop opens.
Pi smiled to the members as they seems understanding, maybe Mao felt tired or sleepy as all of them knew how things happen when the schedule is becoming crazy.
''what will you do?'' Koyama asked.
Pi shrugged, ''I'll wait.''
Then one by one left, and before Tegoshi's leaving, he pointed at the laptop, ''when I came back with Massu, she was already asleep, but I saw what was she doing.. Mao-chan is so cute, you know.''
As usual, the rascal Tegoshi talked superior again and it brings laughter to Pi, as he said, ''I know it!''
Pi's voice was loud, that's why a second after that, ''sssshh..'' then both of the guys said it in unison.
''jya (bye).'' Tegoshi saluted Pi, his girlfriend's big brother.
Then Pi sighed. Something like this happened before, so he's just wait until Mao wake up by sitting beside her and reads the lyrics of his solo songs.
Sometimes she mumbled in her sleep, and it brings a smile to his face. And then while he took his jacket and covers her, his eyes sets on her laptop.
'what does Tesshi means by something that Mao did?' he thoughts.
At first, he was hesitating. It's some kind of rule of privacy for the two of them, when they want to look at each other's phone or laptop or any personal belongings. He would ask permission first, and that's something Mao would do too.
But then, his curiosity makes him clasped his palm together and apologized, ''gomen (sorry), this time only.'' then he stuck out his tongue playfully.
His finger tapped on the small mouse clicking pad at the laptop and then there's a sound coming.
A bit panic, he quickly find the volume controller, which he knew exactly where. Well, Mao bought the same laptop as him; the one that he endorsed.
But then, he realized what the song is, though he just hear it shortly.
Cant help but smile, he looked at the screen. Yeah, he's right.
Mao was watching Proposal Daisakusen earlier, maybe that's why Tegoshi finds her cute. She watched her favorite works and her boyfriend was in it.
''so.. Which episode did you watch, Momo?'' he asked the sleeping Mao.
The player has stop playing the episode, but it seems that she fell asleep when it hasnt end yet.
When he played again then click somewhere on the buffer area randomly, it shown a familiar view for him.
''ah, it's Hawaii.'' he said as his eyes still on the screen. Then he clicked stop and rewind. The drama special played back from the start.
Somehow, watching himself acts in a drama like this, wasnt really weird for him. But to know that someone his treasured so much watching it, even though Mao has seen many works of him -alone or watching it together with him, makes him feels happier.
He continued to watch with a minimum volume and he's lipsync his dialogue that he still remember.
''ah, Mao's favorite scene.'' he commented when the scene on the beach appears, where Kenzou and Rei went with taxi after bailed out from the wedding.
As he was staring at the screen,
''you might have to go around the world to find the shoes. And if you find it, I'll marry you right away.'' Mao's croak voice was heard from behind.
He was smiling when he turned his head to see her and she added, ''or something like that.. I cant remember perfectly.''
Pi said to her, ''you're just awake, or..?''
She nodded as she hides her smile behind his jacket that she pulled closed to her, ''I just awake. Hazukashii na (it's embarassing)..''
''what?'' his laugh echoes, ''it's not the first time you fell asleep in here, nor the fact that all members was here.''
She poked his arm, ''that's why! No matter how many times, it would still be embarassing.''
''they understood. Besides, I think I saw Aira-san and Massu arguing in here about a week ago.. though when I came, they stopped talking. It's like.. this studio became the place where everything can happened.''
Mao rolled her eyes, ''you're exagerating.''
Then he chuckled, ''well, im not the one who's just got a great day today.''
''eh?'' Mao frowned, ''didnt I tell you? Ah, you didnt read my text, did you?''
''what message?'' Pi checked his phone and he doesnt get any of her message from yesterday.
''it's because your ancient phone. Soon it will break into two pieces.'' she pointed to his old cellphone. Well, he's not like Ryo-chan who always updated and change his cellphone to a new one everytime they have a new invention.
''it shows that im a loyal person, even to my phone.'' He proudly replies. ''so.. What message?''
Mao shrugged casually, ''no message. I just want to tease your phone.''
Pi's eyes grew bigger as he exclaimed because of his girlfriend's mischievous behaviour, ''Maooooo~''
Then she explained, ''yeah, I didnt meet Kim Hyun Joong-san yesterday.''
''eh, why?'' he asked.
''because I want you to meet him too.''
''eeehh?''

On the next day,
''why should I meet him too????'' Pi said from behind. He followed Mao, who's walking excitedly.
''bakajyanaino (dont be silly)! It's good, you know.. Both of you are singers, dancers and actors. He can speak Japanese so you two can speak many things.'' She walked in a rush, and full of smile.
''kimoi (kimochi warui= disgusting).'' he sighed, ''I let you to just meet him.. I wont mind, really.''
''hm?'' she asked as her pace doesnt get slower.
''you might think that to prevent me on being jealous, you take me with you. Just like what you did to Okada-kun..'' Pi said as then Mao take a look at him. Busted.
But to his surprise, she smiled, ''well, that must be one of the reason, but actually, I just want to make sure whether you two were really look alike to each other like everyone said or not.''
He stopped and then act like he almost fell down, ''are you for real, Inoue Mao-san??''
''oh yes I am, Yamashita Tomohisa-san.'' she answered, ''hey, this is the place.'' she looked at the door and ready to push it when Yamapi pulled her hand.
''ch-chotto matte (wait a sec).''
''doushite (what is it)?'' she asked him.
''even though you found him more handsome than me, I know he's taller,'' he added that quickly, ''Promised me you wont fall for him.''
Mao looked at him in disbelief, and then she laughs really hard.

After 10 minutes, turns out the meeting went okay.
Hyun Joong somehow looked tremendously shy, although Mao's younger than him.
Mao looked really embarassed because she's aware that Hyun Joong knows her admiration.
And to her surprise, Pi looked unusually calm. He doesnt seem like a jealous person at all. Well, to be exact, not even like usual, when he keeps murmured when Mao linked to some guy.
She almost teased him because he's acting cool, but she wouldnt dare.
And Pi finally asked the Korean artist, ''have you watched Hana Yori Dango?'' because Mao didnt even ask about it.
''ah, yes, actually I have.'' Hyun Joong answered in Japanese.
''really?'' Mao seems
surprised and embarassed at the same time.
Hyun Joong nodded, ''I actually didnt want to have a reference for my role, but.. Maybe I just want to know how the previous version.''
Pi asked again, ''and what do you think about Makino's role?''
The actor looked at them as he said in a smaller voice, ''um.. Is it okay for me to tell you? Im afraid it would sound impolite.''
Both Pi and Mao looked at each other, then Pi said, ''it's okay..''
''well, I think on the Japanese version, Jan Di was more.. What's the right word.. boy-ish? And.. She was like.. more fierce.''
Pi laughs as the guy finished his sentence and Mao looks annoyed.
''.. And then?'' Pi seems interested so he was sitting a bit to the front.
''and.. What amused me is that.. Inoue-san seems wasnt like that in the real life.'' Hyun Joong replied.
Mao smiles and said, ''you too, werent like your role, right?''
''no, no, of course not.'' the guy shook his head, ''it was somehow impossible to be a guy like that, he really is a fairytale prince.'' then Hyun Joong laughs on his own words.
''yeah.. Shun-kun was exactly like you.'' Mao commented.
''ah, Oguri-san?'' Hyun Joong asked after she mentioned the Japanese version of Ji Hoo, ''you get along so well, dont you?''
Mao nodded. As then Hyun Joong asked again, ''um.. can I asked you some question?''
''sure..'' she nodded.
''from what I know, it goes more strict in Japanese than Korea, but.. how you do it, I mean, the dating?''
And to that question, Mao and Pi laughs. Well, they went together so Hyun Joong must already can guess it. Or maybe his manager informed him.
''it's one hell of a journey,'' she answered, ''but I can assured you that it's worth it, though yeah, it's so difficult.''
Pi nodded agree, then she added, ''well maybe it's already written in our hands, since he's always said he interested on being Hanazawa Rui.''
The Korean Rui frowned, ''but shouldnt he be Domyouji to fit the story?''
''naah..'' Pi waved his hand, ''Hanazawa Rui is cool, I like being cool.''
Hyun Joong laughs, but he stops as Mao added, ''it doesnt really matter to me, because my prince is not Hanazawa Rui, or Domyouji. His name is Iwase Ken.''
''who's that?'' the gut asked.
Mao looked at Pi and then he's the one who answered, ''a guy who's imperfect.''
She continued as she pointed at Pi, ''it's his role in one of his works called Proposal Daisakusen.''
''ah, now I get it.'' Hyun Joong nodded.
Though then Mao said, ''I was kinda surprised when I found out he chose to be Hanazawa Rui among those F4, because for me, he was more like Domyouji.''
Pi looked at her with a warning look.
''yeah..'' Mao said to Hyun Joong and laugh a bit.
Then Hyun Joong replied as he said to Pi, ''but I think I can understand you, when you like the girl, then you will do anything to make her stays with you, right?''
Pi said to Mao, ''I like this guy.''
The Korean artist laugh again, ''although.. I also agree with my own role, you have to let someone you love to be happy, with or without you.'' somehow he looked like he speaks from his own experience.
''and that's what Iwase Ken would do.'' Pi nodded.
Hyun Joong smiled as then he looked at his manager who seems busy calling someone at the other side of the room.
He turned to Mao and ask, ''ano.. Inoue-san, can you give me a recommendation if I want to take someone out in Tokyo? It doesnt have to be flashy place, in fact I prefer a cozy small one.''
''for a date?'' Mao smiles, ''why? You shouldnt be worry too much since it's not Seoul. You can be as free as you want.''
Hyun Joong laughs, ''yeah, but someone Im dating is a really down to earth one. She loves that kind of place.''
Pi looked at his girlfriend and he said, ''then you should recommend that place.''
''ah, you're right.'' Mao said. The nice coffee shop owned by an uncle that Mao and Pi used to hang out.

They bowed politely to each other and bid goodbye after meeting for a half an hour, because Hyun Joong have to catch the plane in Narita.
And now, Pi is standing hand in hand with Mao in the elevator, they were in the building, straightly go to the floor to reach NEWS' studio.
''so..?'' Mao asked.
''what?'' Pi asked.
''it went well, right? And you seem to enjoy the conversations, too..'' she said then she leaned her head to his shoulder as they walk.
''He's okay.'' he said as Mao chuckled.
''hey, what's with the chuckle??'' he protested.
''still dont want to lose, do you?''
Pi ignored her statement and asked, ''and you.. Did you fall for him?''
Mao laughs, ''what kind of question is that??'' but she answered after that, ''well, he's dashing, no doubt about that..''
When Pi wants to ask her about something, she cut him, ''but to be honest, you two doesnt look that similar.''
''I was just gonna ask who's more handsome.''
''well.. Im not saying that I said this just to make you happy, but.. You look..'' Mao seems hesitate, but then smile sheepishly, ''sexier.''
Pi, who's coughing, now was choking.
Mao patted his back in silence, but then she said, ''mouu~ Im the one who's embarrased in here.''
Then he looked at her and give her a peck on the cheek, ''but you make me realize that I really did the right thing.''
''what is it?''
He smiled at her, ''do you really think that Stylist-san is the one who tell the publicist about your admiration towards that actor?''
Mao frowned, ''.... Moshikashite (could it be)?''
Pi replied, ''ah.. What a relieve when I found out that you asked me to go with you when you're gonna meet him.'' he wrapped his arm around her and pull her closer.
''ehhh? Is it really you.. Who tell the- So... I can meet Kim Hyun Joong-san?''
''yeah, that's why im relieve, because as I thought, I was having a hard time, actually, on letting you go to see him..'' he laughs.
Mao punched his arm, ''so why you tell the publicist in the first place??''
''because.. Somehow I know, I want to make you happy. As much as I feel jealous to the fact that it's because a GUY who's not me, but.. I realized that what's important to me is that now you're smiling like this.'' he nudged her cheek with his point finger.
''aaaaaaw.. How painfully adorable is that??'' Mao held his arm tighter as they walked out from the elevator.
''and I also know that you wont fell for him. As I believe you wont leave me that easily.''
''oh really?'' She teased him, ''and why is that again?''
Pi shook his head, ''I just know, Mao.. I just happened to know that.''
With the smile on her face, she said, ''well.. Im not complaining either. In fact.. Im thankful for that..''
''good.'' he said as then she released herself from his arm, and went to behind him.
She jumped as she rounded her arms on his neck, so he quickly held her up as now he gave her a piggyback ride, ''you know.. I was kinda jealous to Masami because my favorite scene.''
At that Prodai scene on the beach, Pi carries Masami on the back and then they walked on the sandy beach, although it's windy and cold that day.
''yeah?'' Pi turned his head so he can see her as now they were still in the corridor. Thank God there's no staffs walking around, so they were relaxed.
''yes! But if you carry me like this, even only to the studio, Kenzou, I will be very happy.'' Mao said.
''happier than the fact you just met your idol?'' He still mentioned about that.
''yes, silly.'' She kissed his cheek, one on every sides.
Pi laughs, ''okay then.. if that's the case, I dont mind to carry you even to go to the car later.''
Mao laughs so loud because she was excited as he shouted, ''abunai yo (it's dangerous, you know)! Dont move to much or you would fall..''
''but you wont let me fall.'' she smiled.
''yeah, true..'' he said.
''thanks again for today, Pi.'' she whispered happily. ''you're just soooo cool.''
''well, thank you.'' he smiled from ear to ear.
When he put her down in front of the studio door just so he can kiss her, he round his hand on her waist to pull her closer.
And when he bent down, she was smiling at her to kiss-
''why Pi's so damn slow???-.....''
''he said that he's already in the buil-''
Ryo-chan opened the door, and followed by Koyama. Behind them, the 3 other members was also staring at what they see in front of the door.
Pi said to them, ''OI!'' as he was caught. Ryo just chuckled because he wasnt afraid of Pi.
Mao whining as she covered her face, ''mooouu~ why these 5 coolest guys in Japanese always suceed on making me feel embarrased???''
''eehhh?'' Pi exclaimed as he heard Mao's statement.
Then Shige stood up, ''ma-ma (well), we were happy to know that a cute one like you thinking that we're cool.. So, you're always welcome in here, Mao-chan..''
''You! Shige! You're just 10 years too early to think you can seduce her like that!'' Pi's Akira mode is on by pointing at Shige and his voice changed.
''dozou dozou (please come in)..'' Massu and Tegoshi said to her.
''thank you..'' Mao acts cute by looking all sweet and shy.
''and you, you! Stop acting nicely to Mao..!'' Pi pointed at TegoMassu.
''eh, doushite (why)?? Dont you happy when the members accepting me?'' Mao pouted,''and dont you just say.. if you see me smiling happily you will be happy too?''
Pi just stood there in silence, but 2 seconds after that, ''aaaah mouuuu~ no more acting cool! Im really a jealous boyfriend! Period!''
Just after that, Shige's shouting, ''Yamashita-kun! I promise I wont do that agaiiiinn..'' because now Yamapi was taking his precious camera and threat to steal it from him.
As if this act wasnt that chaos, Mao joined by saying, ''Kenzouu, stopp!! Sousuke, help me!'' by pulling Ryo-chan to get closer to her and Pi.
And then laughter was echoing in that room.
In this very own world of them, is where Mao have her version of Iwase Kenzou, along with his loyal F5.
And this is the alternate universe that would always makes you smile.

i came back with another BTS scene :) this time, with an odd theme i might say LOL and Kim Hyun Joong-sshi appeared in this one
i hope you're still interested on reading this.
i missed this pair so much and i never stop praying to see them working together as soon as possible!
