HE scanned the movement in the club, his eyes trying to locate his victim.
'Give over!' Nicholas Tse swung around and hit his friend squarely on the head.
'Shut up! I know she's here somewhere!' Daniel Wu laughed and took a swig from his beer.
Finally unable to ignore his friend's convincing manner any longer, Nicholas sat down in defeat.
'I don't know why you bother, man.'
'I said, shut up.' Daniel put his hands up in a surrending-gesture and shrugged.
'Of all the ladies in Korea, you choose a little school-girl.' He shook his head and stood up. 'Oi man, I've caught my prey. I'll catch you later, eh?' Nicholas grunted in reply and watched as his best friend made his way through the crowd of moving bodies.
Nicholas' mind ran over what Daniel had just said and smirked to himself. The only reason he was still chasing the 'silly little school girl' was because she had no desire for him. No women had ever acted so cold towards him, even after he released his delicious charms. Nicholas Tse always gets what he wants, and this girl was no exception.
'Nic, my man!' He looked up at the familiar face of his right-hand man- Corry Downer.
'Corry.' Nicholas threw him a bottle which he took gratefully. Corry sat down and loosened his tie before canning down about half the bottle of liquid.
'What brings you here, eh?' Nicholas smirked. 'My father actually agreed for you to come out?' Corry shot him a 'shut the hell up' glare, but laughed along.
'Nah man, but hey, I've got some news to tell you ol' buddy.' Nicholas glanced over at his friend.
'Fire away.'
'Look mate, your old man gave us a two plane tickets to Canada, Charlette Town for the social meeting.' Corry grinned. 'Far, you know what this means?'
'What, more chicks?'
'More than that you dickhead!' Corry was getting impatient. 'If you can get over to Canada, who knows? It's jacks away from Korea?'-He stopped to add to the suspense, which he knew full-well gets on Nicholas' nerves-'Who knows; you might get delayed there and stay for let's see.. Half a year?' Nicholas' eyes shot up and his lips curved into a smile.
'What are you trying to say?' He asked, crossing his arms. Corry leaned foreword, licking his parched lips.
'I'm saying Nickie-boy; who knows how long you're able to stay in Canada for? Your old man would definitely have no chances of making you come back to Korea- what, with his business and everything?'
'When can we go?' The simple question declared what Nicholas had in mind as he high-fived his old friend.

SHE glanced at her watch, shaking her head impatiently.
'Where is she?' Charlene Choi jumped up in fright when someone tapped her on her shoulder, scaring the wits out of her.
'Megan! What the heck is wrong with you?!' Charlene scolded, gathering herself. Megan Choi giggled at her sister's anxiety.
'Your plane tickets, missy.' Although it was stated clearly on their birth certificate that Charlene was older than Megan by at least 12 months, Megan had always acted bossier than her older sister. 'Now don't you forget to call us when you're there!' Megan wagged a finger at her sister, who swiped it away and laughed.
'I know, I know. Now, has Mum signed all my papers? I don't want to be late; this is after all, my first---..'
'---your first client ever since you graduated with your Art degree, right?' Megan rolled her eyes. 'Get over that fact already Ah Sa!' Charlene pouted, which may seem already much too childish for a woman her age.
'Well gee Megan, don't get me started on you- I don't see YOU ever grad--?'
'Whatever, here's all the papers. Hand them at the airport over there all right? I have to go, Sora is waiting for me outside. Love you heaps Ah Sa!' Megan kissed her sister on her cheeks lovingly, before bidding her goodbye.
Charlene waved and disappeared behind the doors of the Hong Kong Airport.
'Charlette Town.. here I come!' She thought, smiling to herself.

HE pulled up at his drive-way and poked his head from the window.
'Diane! Are you done yet?!' Kenny Kwan frowned when he received no reply. 'Diane!'
'Nearly, nearly!' A feminine voice drifted from the house. There was a bustle of noise before the entire neighborhood was enveloped in silence.
Shaking his head at his sister's slowness, Kenny got out of the car and walked up to the path. The letter box near their drive-way caught his attention, dainty looking with the paint furnish he had done himself.
Kenny walked back down the path and opened the letter-box, turning his head towards the door to make sure his sister wasn't about to jump on him unexpectantly. Feeling at ease, Kenny pulled out a single white envelope from the box and raised his eyebrow.
'A letter for me?' He asked aloud, expecting no reply. He didn't recieve it, so shrugging, Kenny opened the letter.
Dear Kenny,
My name is Lawrence Yin, but I ask that you call me Law.
I know this is a sudden suggestion, and coming from a stranger, you would be known to throw this letter away immediately after reading. But I suggest you read what I have to say, as I know this subject would interest you immensely.
I have a deal I would like to propose; something that would be of both our interests.
Mind you, not only is that if this deal is successful, I will pay you a large sum of money for your service.
This proposal would need to be posed to you in person, as details must be made clear as so nothing is missed out. If you take this proposal, with the interest of finding out how I know of you, please open the envelope and you will find a plane ticket to CHARLOTTE TOWN.
Keep in mind that CHARLOTTE TOWN is definitely not where the deal will take place. I have chosen this place so you could meet with the people who would also be accompanying you also on this trip. All expenses will be passed to my account.
The flight is in two days, in case you need time to think it over. If, by chance you truly have no interest in this deal, you do not need to inform me. Do not reply to this email address under any circumstances.
If there is any problem, I will do my best to untangle the mess. We will not have any contact until you arrive at CHARLOTTE TOWN.
P.S: Unfortunately, this is only a deal between you and I. Diane Kwan will not be able to attend this meeting under any circumstances.
When you were 13 of age, you have promised to help me with a problem. Well Kenny, I dearly hope you will keep to your words.
Regards,
Law Yin
